Wrong information. It's not required to pay 1 million and not 24,000 baht for having PR. Completely wrong info.

Ouch I stopped writing down the requirements after 5 minutes of notes. Time to find a country that is a bit easier?

I was adopted from Thailand and live in the US. Am I allowed to get dual citizenship?

If at least one of your parents is Thai, you should be considered a Thai. If it’s been many years since you’ve been in Thailand you may need to submit documents to reaffirm your Thai citizenship. Yes to dual citizenship.

The other reason I would go for citizenship is so I can own property like a house with the land.

Actually, it is possible and I know several people who have gained their PR and two who have gained their citizenship. However, it wasn’t easy or cheap.
