I know this car probably has 100 video reviews on it, but this is the one rc channel I trust the most to deliver real unbiased reviews.

Thanks for the review! $130 for the DEERC is an okay price, but for even less the WLtoys 144001 for $105 is a much better deal. It may be brushed but it has a 550 sized motor so it goes 30mph out of the box on 2S. You'll want to run a 3S battery with the DEERC, you'll probably get 40mph+.
I got the 1/10tth scale version of this DEERC after all the reviewers on CZcams praised it, and I have to say it's a turd. It uses the same 380 sized motor from the 1/18th scale and it can't even hit 20mph on the included 2S. It's nowhere as durable as the 1/18th scale, I let my nephew give it a run and he completely destroyed it after just one battery. The worst part is you can't even upgrade the 1/10th scale with a 540 brushless motor, because the mount was made to fit the 380 sized motor only. If you get the 1/10th scale you're better off getting the brushed version which is also FASTER than the brushless version.

I had one a few months back, I actually never got around to doing a review of it because the diffs both stripped just goofing around. I must have gotten a bad one. Otherwise it did seem like a durable little truggy, but I never got to find out.

The shocks need to be filled with proper oil from the customer! They are not prefilled with oil. It states this on the Amazon product description. This could be one reason the shocks didn't seem too springy.

Good value for $160 - brushless, threaded shocks, 2.4ghz radio, extra body, etc. Hard tires and over-damped but easy to fix and certainly more potential there. I would say better for around the house (inside or outside) and suited to someone younger. I try to support North American manufacturers but even their kits are made mostly overseas. However, my issues with these kits is not that, it's the lack of parts support and the relatively long wait to order parts. For me, I'd spend $60-$70 more for the Losi Mini-T (although with $30 off, maybe a better bargain?). Thanks for the review.

If something was actually made in America I would buy it. Like the sibling comment said the FC 600 is amazing. I got it last week on sale for 90 bucks and wow. Looks are okay but performance is amazing.

Great overview but I always find it funny when people list 2.4ghz radio as a positive. Not that's its not but that's just industry standard now. I don't know the last time I saw a new rc with a 27mhz.

I've seen this particular model of this rc 4 times now, for a Amazon rc, well it's cool in my opinion if you want something fairly cheap to give your kids to get them into rc and teach them, as for an adult yeah if they have 0 experience, but if you have some to alot then this rc will indeed get old fast, but still can be fun to run in a smaller area, you know slide around ur driveway or guarge then hand off to a child or buddy, as for parts can't say,. As I don't get away with buying a rc for less than 300 bucks and that's in the smaller 1/10 and smaller range so um sorry just don't see myself buying one, but might if I find extra cash, now on to durability yes it's light and slower so it should hold up pretty well if there's any doubt after watching your video on this rc then anyone that is reading this I humbly point you to a little Chanel called rc guy guarge he is on you tube, he got the Mt and please forgive me but I'm. Doing this from memory it's been a few weeks and alot of life in-between now and then, do anyways his might have been a brushed version or I might be wrong best just to check his videos of it, but either way brushed or brushless he did 2 and 3 s runs on his 3s the motor kept going but really got hot 🔥🥵, also he may have broken a arm on it but I do believe the wheels were larger on the Mt and perhaps heavier he didn't weigh them so geometry and weight might have helped in that situation and he had a 3 s pack in it, I'm sure that helped in my opinion theses models can't do a high c rating and high mAh value, motor can't take it and it's plastic might not be able to handle the power, but he did run it at the skate park and even with a splint on one arm it came home in one piece on included battery's , that says something for it's durability, and price well yeah last year at this time this rc would have been cheaper, but all rc's are more expensive these days, so you all be the judge on that aspect, in short, great first time training rc more aimed at kids, but from what I've seen it's a tough little rc that comes with 2 vehicle batteries, and some well supplied spares in the box, so if u got the cash, and are in the market for a training basher, then I say buy it.
