I bought my oldest daughter one of these years ago for her makeup brushes. It was very inexpensive & I’m now using it years later to clean my granddaughter’s paintbrushes!
I remember this product going viral in 2016 and absolutely DESTROYING peoples expensive makeup brushes. Be careful when drying, that can disturb the placement of the bristles so they’re sparse in the center. It can completely change how a brush blends something without being able to immediately tell (sometimes it’ll just mess up your brush so bad it stays looking like it’s spinning after you stop) you’ll also get a lot more stray hairs on the edge of your brushes
I’ve had mine for years and I’ve never had a problem. I think it’s all about how you use a product. It’s there to help but you still have to do some work yourself. Mine came out looking like they were brand new.
If u use synthetic hair brushes u can also clean them with 90° alcohol, it kills bacteria, removes makeup and it's so volatile, so brushes are dry in a couple of minutes
not to mention that repeated use of this basically makeup brush drill can misshape and damage your brushes and in my experience unless you havent cleaned a brush in months (in which case ik why everyones skin is so bad) it will literally take like 30 seconds to a minute to clean the brush
Just be carefull with rubbing alcohol of such strenght, it can literally eat the britles away by dissoving the material. Synthetic most often means plastic, acrylic for example. You probably should use soap every now and then also, because there’s no way just alcohol wiping will get deep enough to dissolve the bits of makeup stuck between the bristles.
No it wasn't, it was rinsed off. This is to get a deep clean, not just surface clean which is what most people do. Frankly she should be sanitizing between uses every month, even if only using on her own face.
I’ve had one for a few years now. They work great for powdered brushes, not so much for foundation or concealer brushes though… they also do get DRYER by spinning them but they will still be a bit damp!
... wow what an interesting trick went from a dirty brush to a complefely new white one right before dunking it into the water. Jeez you really can't trust make-up / lifestyle whatever people anymore... Do I hear fake lashes in the background? Oh no it must be mascara... (100 points to whoever gets that reference)
Yessss! I've had mine for years. I only use it for drying, but it is perfect. My only gripe is that the plastic bits that keep the brush in the mechanical piece have become loose over time. Because of this, heavier brushes fall out of the machine when they spin. I still love it though. 😊
My dad recently bought me a little machine to clean my brushes. It cleans about 10 small brushes at a time or 5 big brushes. I just pop them in with some warm water and liquid soap and it takes about ten minutes but it cleans them and I don’t have to hold them up or anything. Was super cheap as well! 😬
I used to buy brush soap all the time but now I just use olive oil and dawn soap. Make sure you mix it until it emulsifies and becomes one. This stuff is amazing at cleaning makeup brushes and I always have both on hand
As a woman, who doesnt use makeup. Just use a drill with a soft claw or something to hold the brush while spoing on dishsoap idk cleaning inside a glass. This seems overwhelming inexpensive to have. Plus, people in the comments are saying its destroying the structure of the hairs within the makeup brush.
Yes, it works great with paintbrushes too!! I bought my oldest daughter one of these years ago to clean her makeup brushes. I’m now using it to clean my granddaughter’s paintbrushes. Same one! It has lasted forever & was very inexpensive
I wash my foundation brush and I use it damp. It won’t affect the makeup because foundation is wet. In my dry powders I dry it really well w terry cloth
No, this doesn’t work the way everybody thinks it does…. Unless you’re brushes are basically all the same size, because you have to put the end of your brush in one of the cylinders, I think they gave you five or six, And then, and only then will the brushes spin otherwise they just fall out. It’s kind of funny….. but if you only wanted it for a few brushes it is perfect.

I just use antiseptic soap. Works perfectly.
I think you meant versatile 😅😂
Volatile would mean that it's very reactive (as in, explodes easily)
Not me yelling 'hellicopter hellicopter'
Edit: Tysm for 100 likes
😂😂
You barely got any likes 💀

I was worried no one else noticed this
No you can see the difference before and after. Pinky brush from the blusher.
No it wasn't, it was rinsed off. This is to get a deep clean, not just surface clean which is what most people do.

Using that crusty blender wpuld give her skin problems

Damn she sucks
I remembered watching Jeffree Star reviewing this product a few years back, ahh good ol time 😌
Same 😂😂
I don’t think it cleans brushes as well as a silicone mat, but I definitely use it to dry my brushes.

I have one of those it's so good
I love mine!
I feel like the way it spins the bristles out like that will also refluff up your brushes if they're bristles are kind of flattened or damaged
As a woman, who doesnt use makeup. Just use a drill with a soft claw or something to hold the brush while spoing on dishsoap idk cleaning inside a glass.

I really want to see how it works on the double sided brush of there's an attachment for it specifically
Exactly my thought, I don't think it will clean double sided brush and she didn't show it either 😔
Don't work
Unless there thin like a brush handle
I need one of these. I’m so bad wit washing my brushes😭 it’s mostly cuz I hate having to wait for them to dry
I need this in my life. I hate cleaning my brushes so much😂
Ooo satisfying do you think that would work with paint brushes or no? Bc I do t use makup but I paint a lot
Yes, it works great with paintbrushes too!! I bought my oldest daughter one of these years ago to clean her makeup brushes. I’m now using it to clean my granddaughter’s paintbrushes. Same one! It has lasted forever & was very inexpensive

I love cleaning makeup brushes and I only clean my sister makeup brushes ❤❤❤❤❤❤
I'd rinse it the same way I washed it, just fill the bowl with clear water a few times until you no longer see any color difference in the water.
I have this and i recommend tp everyone ❤
Bro I need that
That is so cool

That's so cool
Me seeing this video after struggling to clean my makeup brushes 🖌😢😂
It reminded me of Jeffrey star's and laura Lee's video it was funny
Regular soaps works too
Can you use Ketchup on the stain-proof couch?
Forget the brush thing………
WHERE did you get the shoe rack thingy in the bg???? 🤩🤩🤩🤩
As someone who doesn't wear make up i dont know why I always watch these kinds of videos. Like im never gonna do this but i love seeing it 😂
Do not use hot water btw, it softens the glue and then bristles fall out.
“I’m just gonna squeeze a little bit”
But actually a lot
This has been out for a long time and I've seen make up artists say it damages the shape of the brushes
You need to put SHARPIE on your unstanable couch pls🙏
Nice
Drill and a cup of soap.
Chances are you have that laying around already (or should)
I brought this years ago. Honestly didn’t work for me. If you use liquid products, it doesn’t really come off. Super cheap though
I had one of these and really liked it, but the motor died after less than ten separate uses.
My makeup brushes are not strong enough for it but that's exactly how I clean my handheld milk frother💀
Pretty sure a drill could do the same thing.
Might have to try it since I already use it to mix resin.
Just open the chuck on your electric drill to hold the handle. Good concept, ridiculous extra expense.
Will it also work for paintbrushes?
Wait where can I get this?
where can i find that??
I have that but the bowl broke
