- NATO will station US-made Patriot anti-air missile systems in Lithuania during 2024, the Baltic country’s defence minister has announced. Lithuania shares a border with Russia’s exclave of Kaliningrad, along with Russia’s ally Belarus. In 2023, the US and its allies in Europe delivered several Patriot batteries to Ukraine as part of efforts to back Kyiv during its conflict with Moscow. Meanwhile, Lithuanian intelligence agencies reported that Russia can sustain its current level of intensity in the Ukraine conflict for “at least two more years.” Watch the video to know more.

NATO now says Russia can continue its conflict with Ukraine, (reality,it’s America and NATO),for another 2 years.
2 years ago, America and NATO said that Russia will run out of weapons and their economy will collapse with in 10 to 12 months.
The Russian military is now the most powerful and their economy is the largest in Europe.

Putin said that in 2 years Russia will be 100% self sufficient. Lihuania maybe talking about Russia's stockpile good for 2 years. Let's say it is 80% accurate for the sake of conversation. As Russia is approaching self sufficiency their production will be encreasing and after two years their stockpile will probably be 10 times more and their weapons sale will encrease, and their weapons and hardware R&D will also encrease. The reason is Russia is building over 20 factories a month for their substitution program since 2000 to totally build their military industrial complex and industry using indigenous components, materials, and hardware. Russia might drag this war just for testing new weapons because there is nothing to negotiate peace about and Ukrainian lives doesn't really matter to their government. In many Russian blogs, the Russian people wholehearted thanks Joe for the sanctions. It made their life better and their military stronger. That would be a good topic in the future. Just saying.
Thanks to the Ukrainian conflict, both the US and NATO got caught with their pants down:
1. They neither have the wepons nor ready armies to face Russia in traditional warfare.
2. They dont have reliable air defense systems aginst top Russian missilies, either

Russia fears direct confict with NATO. Do not mistake the political inability to properly army Ukraine with a lack of weapons in nato. Nato is an air based army and has thousands of combats jets and long range precision weapons to go with them. Russia is struggling to handle Ukraine it would stand no chance if nato got involved.
There for Russia has no leverage and cannot convince Ukraine to negotiate on Russian terms let alone nato.

a. Russia does not fear NATO (or Russia would not have entered Ukraine).
b. The air power theory has been proven wrong in Afghanistan, Yemen, against HAMAS, etc.
c. Fear among the NATO nations is quite obvious, as shown by the recent inclusion of Sweden and Finland; they are all trying to huddle together, attempting to find safety in numbers. Their obvious and exaggerated fears are further highlighted against the backdrop of Putin's clear statement that Russia does not wish for a conflict with NATO.

Second, the capacity by US or NATO of striking aerial targets inside Russia is obviously threatening/provocative because Russia has to take measures to defend against those systems.
