- The US Navy’s submarine fleet is set to commission the SSN New Jersey, a Virginia-class fast-attack submarine. The SSN New Jersey, officially named SSN 796, is said to be costing approximately $3.5 billion.
The Virginia-class submarine is nuclear-powered, allowing for extended operations without refuelling. The SSN 796 is equipped with advanced weapons systems for versatile combat roles.
The USS New Jersey Virginia-class submarine is the third naval vessel named after the state of New Jersey. The Virginian-class submarines are designed to be operational for long enough into the 2070s.

Ukraine is basically a landlocked country of course an army will need to win that war, it doesn't take an Einstein to figure that one out. For Taiwan, the Chinese can blockade the island and no food or energy will get through. China also has a problem as almost 60-70% of their food and energy requirements come from overseas. It is possible with many of these Virginia class subs to sink all the ships heading to China through the Malacca Strait or through the 1st island chain, they can blockade China

The South China Sea is like a deadly maze of underwater obstacles. Fast moving submarines are limited and China has extensive anti sub capabilities throughout the entire area. It is not a huge advantage for the US or problem for China.
