Exploring With Josh ok josh! I did and I also subscribed and SMASH that like button
Exploring With Josh I was in hurrcain Harvey
And I also pray for Texas for all who have struggled with this hurricane
Yo Josh I email you a while ago for some business ideas just trying to see if you ever saw that
Exploring With Josh Josh your videos are getting very short man, not really good anymore either
You handled the deaths of many Texans and the abandoning of a whole hospital very maturely. You were very very respectful. I’m glad you took a different approach from Logan Paul. Good video.
I've never watched Logan Paul but anyone who handles stuff like this immaturely is a moron.
Yes I agree
Alisha Winfield I’m so sorry to hear that I’m glad you made it alive
@@xxangel_wolfxx1012 yeah me too
Alisha Winfield I FELL SOOO BAD FOR U!! I'm Sorry You Went Through It
Honestly they should knock that s down, clear the space out, and create a garden or park dedicated to the patients that went there. It may take a while, but it would be nice.
HB pencil I agree bro
Will _ he said that it would be too expensive to rebuild, knocking it down would be a cheaper alternative
Rebuild it shit head.
It was a huge hospital
Cost billions to make
Knocking it down would
Take longer to pick up everything.
Will _ The only one who understands shit.
Kinda agree but it my costs a lot. For me, they should just renovate the whole building and make it a cheap hospital for poor people that needs medication because the building is still perfect they won’t need much renovation and costs
I can't imagine the chaos of evacuating a hospital.
Yes
It's sad
How the hell was hurricane Harvey 3 years ago wow time flies
Ik it’s kinda weird
Wondering how it looks now
I deadass thought it happened I’m 2018 like :( it’s so sad
@@bluescorpion444 yeah
It’s been 3 years since my beloved granny passed away that’s how I know time flies by! 😔
Seeing abandoned hospitals gives me a sort of... upset vibe. This hospital, full of hope, had to shut down due to a hurricane. It’s like traveling back in time, seeing the writing on the charts and boards. Just imagine, the patients, deathly sick or suffering, struggling to evacuate this hospital. Let’s take a moment to respect all the patients who went to this hospital. ♥️
🙏🙏
Claudia Baluk-Abata that’s how I feel

It still works!
Lydia Vickers same!!
That blew my mind...go clock...keep telling the time
Keep going clock!
I noticed it too lol 😂
Somehow, the clocks there are still ticking...
Strange, isn’t it?
Electric clocks with batter backups have been a thing for a long time, like, at least four or five years.
A lot of the clocks are hardwired to the wall, so if not battery powered their linked to a satellite so time is always accurate.
ye
Thank your government for this storm!
#stearing the weather
Its probably still ticking to this day.
The fact that it still have so much medicine untouched, so sad..and now we facing corona virus, a whole world is panic.

Imagine someone was having surgery then had to evacuate, what would they do?
Right .....
If they were mid-way through they would sadly have to leave the patient. Also depends on the surgery, if it was something serious and they had the chance to get the patient stable before evacuating then they would.
@@AussieAussie20 true , but can't they evacuate and do the surgery ?
@@user-wk8ze6uj6p I don't know you could do that but that would be risky

Everytime that I watch one of these videos I feel like I'm living a completely new life through the lens. Josh, you do an AMAZING job of relaying the history of these abandoned places and I really appreciate the fact that you bring a lot of sympathy and awareness to events like these. I wonder if the morgue still has bodies in it if they had to just abandon the place quickly
Why Not same like it’s a fairly new place and since they had to evacuate really quickly they might’ve not cared or they forgot the bodies
@@chloearreola3714 yeah definitely after everything the families just completely forgot about their loved ones no questions asked
@@caydenthompson1878 Just in case this was sarcasm on your behalf be aware bodies do go through morgues that are unidentified people that are forgotten and are due to be cremated cause no one claims them as family. So yes highly likely there were bodies down there. However due to safety codes those bodies would have been removed or whatever was left of said bodies after being submerged for so long was bagged and tagged and sealed up in a room like the sealed room Josh broke with all the toxic bags. By the way very dumb of him to break that seal. That hospital for sure holds more then just black mold.
@@xXHatchetRunnerXx
Well yeah but before it was sealed there was probably already a risk in the hospital. They did close it back up pretty quickly after realizing what it was. Now if they had gone inside and such then that would have been worse.
Springtrap Silverstein-Afton exactly but they look pretty smart to know what toxic shit looks like haha. Josh does make good videos that’s for sure! I just work at a hospital in security and know the dangers within! Cheers mate!✌🏼
When you went in the x-ray room that person SCARED ME
Yas I jumped so bad
@Zaquan Jones 15:49
But yea, that got me too. When he went into the room, I was like, "That looks like a p..." then he growled and I jumped so hard then laughed my butt off.
The way he was crouching, and with that mask, he looked almost like a Halo Grunt.
I'll admit, I'm a morid person who wished they looked in the room they zipped back up. I'm so curious and disturbed by it.
All it was was all of The Biohazard bags that are in the biohazards spots throughout the hospital all in one room.
Everything in those bins probably contained used instruments after surgery, knife blades, needles, single use / broken instruments. The bags probably contained soiled linen or surgical rags. And if those bio materials were present before the flood, everything in those bags and bins are probably plastered on the walls and floors. He was right wearing gloves but still shouldn’t have touched anything let alone go in there.
Morbid*
Yeah, I really do. I’m a very curious person, wants I see/hear something, I have to know everything about it
@@drfrenchfrythe3rd as long as he doesn't have open cuts on his hand he's good. I wanted him to look through the bags and trash cans too, with gloves he was in no danger at all
But still... Imagine if you were getting surgery and all of a sudden, it starts flooding. R.I.P to those who suffered.
They had a notice to evacuate, wasn’t just up and sudden. I’m sure they had everybody that had life threatening issues was long gone before it got that bad.

This is devastating for Texans. Even though it was 2 years ago it's still devastating
Harvey was actually supposed to hit our area (corpus christi) but took a last minute turn & hit a few smaller cities above us (rockport is where most people passed due to the hurricane) & the rains & floods actually hit laredo & houston & san antonio the worst(where people passed due to the waters) before it even hit the news broadcasters & guards were literally announcing on every news station that the people should “write their social security numbers on their arms to help identify the bodies if anything where to happen to them” it was awful. We were without power for days & some areas for weeks/months. They gave out emergency foodstamps & free hospital visits to anybody that needed them during this time. There was a lot of organizations that were put together & went to donate clean water & emergency medical kits & food to the people that were most affected by it. It was/is by far one of the worst storms to ever hit texas since the hurricane back in the 90’s i believe.
It’s devastating for everyone.
soggynuggets As someone that lives in Houston, it was pretty bad. The damage and aftermath is what made it especially devastating. I lost my house and a couple of my horses due to Harvey
A lady died of drowning at her apartment complex trying to get her dogs out, she got her family out and didn’t want to leave her two dogs behind. The dogs did live and the entire family got out safely, but it was really sad hearing that

I was unable to leave my hospital and worked for several days during Hurricane Harvey. Some of this hospitals’ staff were transferred to our facility (I’m not sure if you named the hospital, so I won’t). Many told us how they were rescued . Hurricane Harvey brought us all close together...It was a very scary time. Just be careful when exploring these abandoned places. It was very conscientious of you to wear an N-95 mask to protect yourselves.
I can imagine that the nurses and doctors would grab and carry all the weak patients that couldn't walk or would take to long and would die in the process
Bubblegum Mania they used stretchers and since the hospital was one of the first places evacuated emergency services came as fast as possible too. The stronger patients helped the weaker ones out also.

Thank you for the first 15-20 seconds josh! I live in Houston and my family had to evacuate and my little brother Jack fell into a comma because as we were getting the few things we needed, a big gust of wind made our neighbors mailbox fly and hit him in the head. He just got out of that comma a few days ago and we are so happy that god have us hope that he would come back to us. He only 2 by the way...
So sorry that your family had to go through that. Glad your little brothers ok. So tragic for any person to go through never mind a 2 year old. Hope he makes a full recovery with no lasting damage. God bless

Lmao das funny af
I’m happy I found an explorer that respects the places he goes
Isn't it weird that they left behind drugs and medical stuff that could easily still be used and at the same time they took the beds... ?
The medicine could have gone off by the time they could g oback to collect everything
I was thinking the same thing
Wasteful American logic.😡
I think if the beds were full they would transport the patients in them out of the building
@@jimgamble2429 If the medicine went bad, that means it would be less effective on the patients. I may be 15 but I know that because my parents are doctors. And the longer the medicine has been bad, the less it'll work. And I'm sure doctors want to use medicine that hasn't gone bad and/or been contaminated by the germs from Hurricane Harvey. Because had they used contaminated medicine, god knows what the consequence would be on the patient they gave it to.

I never expected to cry while watching one of your videos, but this hit so close to home (literally and figuratively) being a Houstonian whose house flooded. Anyways, thanks for coming to Texas, I hope you had a good time exploring! All the love from Houston ❤️
Kate Marie all my best to you
Kate Marie are you getting any type of assistance to help???
Miss Moxie thank you!
Rebecca Fokes immediately after the hurricane and when trucks were able to drive through the neighborhood, the Red Cross provided meals for maybe 5 days. But since we had never flooded before (even when the flood hit earlier that year and was deemed a “500 year flood”), we didn’t have flood insurance. The only direct help we received was from FEMA, who came out to assess the damage and gave us some money (which was about 1/5 of what we needed to repair everything but many people had it worse so they got more money). Thankfully we didn’t flood as bad as others near us, but it doesn’t take much water to totally ruin floors and walls.
Kate Marie

Its so sad, I am a nurse and know how expensive hospitals are. My relative is building a new heart hospital where I live in Melbourne, Australia and its hundreds of millions of dollars!
For years I have been saying how lucky I am to live in Australia, we don't have earthquakes, hurricanes or tsunamis. We do get bad bushfires and flooding however. We have low crime compared to other countries and strict gun control.
It's scary how crazy hospitals look like with no people in there. Because remember, hospitals ALWAYS have people in them 24/7!
Look forward to more of your adventures!

Jason Bouphasavanh I used to work at monash and trust me, night shift can be really creepy. So I know exactly how you feel. The hospitals further out of the city, the more erie they are at night, especially around the operating theaters!
Jason Bouphasavanh yeah I have a history teacher partner so always watched documentaries on the black plague & ww2 stories.
Yeah depending on how critical the patients on the wards/section is will take into account how many nurses are working. We have 4 nurses at night as i specialize in cardiothoracic care. But most wards have 3-4 at night. Its a great job but we are at high risk of violence from the patients we care for. Really a rewarding career however

"sorry bud, hold your organs in and lets hop right out of here"
Storm warning no op,s...
My Mum's a surgeon and there was a bomb threat at the hospital. Everyone else evacuated, but not the patients and nurses and doctors in the operating rooms. They weren't allowed to evacuate cause there was an open body in a sterile area and they couldn't bring it out because of the high risk of infection. So what they have to do is close the patient as soon as possible, and then they can leave.
So my guess is that they had to close up the person as soon as possible before they were allowed to leave.
I would still do it, just want them to live.
Monce Bravo LOL
I live in Houston, Texas, and lived through Harvey and every other Hurricane we've had. Thank you for bringing awareness.
