WE LEFT CAMERAS ALONE in a Haunted House | What We Found is TERRIFYING

  • In this episode we decided to try something we haven't done for at least a decade. We left multiple cameras across a haunted and abandoned house in an attempt to capture any activity that may occur while we wait outside and freeze our tiny pathetic little balls off. Elliot also said he doesn't want to be a hot air balloon anymore and that may come as a disappointment for any cold water balloon enthusiasts who liked to make fun of his bulbous appearance. We also decided writing these descriptions is very tedious and no one reads it anyway its just good for CZcams’s impossibly complex algorithm.

Many comments about dust so thought we would pin a comment about it. Dust doesn't just appear in a house... it gets created through human activity or decay. This place hasn't started to decay enough to create dust and there are no people living there. We are not the first to film this place. If you look close enough you can see how dirty and full of cobwebs this place actually is. Even the washing machine is full of mould. The windows round the back are rotting away and you can barely even get up to the house without walking through the overgrown garden. Abandoned houses don't always have to be abandoned for decades to be abandoned.

I think the camera doesn't always pick up exactly what you're seeing in reality, I think that's half the problem but most people know you're hardly going to be investigating someone's house while they've popped out for a pint of milk 😮

It does cut out some noise, yes, but it's hard to then to explain what some noises can be. There maybe a crack that you think is a spirit, and it could turn out to be the house settling. Also, leaving your equipment puts you at risk for it being stolen or broken. Nobody wants that with how much stuff costs these days they don't need crackheads coming in and nicking their stuff to sell at cash generators.

This episode hit a chord with me. I lost both parents within 5 months of each other. I was visiting mom in the hospital, dad at a nursing home and taking care of their home and an elderly uncle. Every time I went to their house it broke me. My mom had been folding clothes when she ended up being taken by ambulance, never to return. There were clothes still hanging over the dining room chair. I have one brother who lives states away, so I was dealing with all this on my own and still working full time myself. When they passed I sold the house “as is” because I couldn’t bring myself to get rid of all their possessions. I live in a small condo so I had no room for any furniture, etc. Now I did not leave dishes out, etc but other than that it very much looked like the last day my mom was there.

I jumped so fast outa bed, drove without any gas in my car, so fast that if a cop was going to stop me he'd have to earn that ticket because I wasn't going to stop till I got to the hospital. They said I had to wear a mask, apron to see my mom. I ripped the damn thing off me with the mask, talked to my mom. I’m just 4 minutes in and this is so incredibly sad to me. All this man’s possessions still there. Did he not have any family? Wouldn’t you think a family member would want at least those old pictures? I know I would. So many things in there that should be heirlooms. It’s like this man was alone for a long time and no one cared. That extreme kind of sadness is a negative feeling and could manifest even more paranormal activity. Just so sad. I should also say I’m a former nurse, I worked in a nursing home for years, and I became very empathetic, so just watching this made my heart ache.

Coming from a family that's not so well off, we had to save up for everything we want, cameras, computer tables (we can't even afford a laptop so desktop PCs were all we had), bed mattresses, etc. Everything feels like a major purchase so yes, we deeply cared about our belongings bec we had to earn them. And when he died, all his stuff was just in his room, left rotting away. It bugged me bec I know he loved every little thing especially his camera and sound system (speakers and stuff). Was all that saving up for nothing? :( All that building your life to succumb to nothingness. It is sad. But it made me care less about my possessions and more about being here and the people who care about me (Sorry for talking too much)

I had a friend who had an old abandoned farmhouse on her property. She said it was really creepy inside and so decided to leave a tape recorder running inside. She climbed the stairs and placed the tape recorder underneath some floor boards so it wouldn't be as exposed to the elements. A week later she came back and played it and it was definitely weird! She said she heard this weird gasping/breathing sound. There was some odd creaks and other noises she chocked up to being an old house. And then the weird gasping sound was heard again, it got closer and closer to the recorder and then the recorder suddenly stopped, like someone turned it off. There was still plenty of tape left but someone or something just stopped it.
That story gave me the chills when I heard it. Was someone in that house and they somehow knew there was a tape recorder but they didn't take it after stopping it? So weird. I don't know what to think and my friend didn't either..she was pretty freaked out to think there was possibly a stranger on her property. 😱 nope.

Fellas, THIS is how a paranormal investigation should be done! First of all, leaving equipment set up and vacating the premises for a while is a great idea. But then when you do return and hear and see things, you don't immediately jump to the phenomena as being paranormal. You try to debunk it or explain it as natural phenomena but the rest is left to the viewer to decide for the themselves. This is actually similar to an American show called Ghost hunters. That is not to be with the ridiculous show called Ghost Adventures where everything is the result of the host of the show being possessed by the devil himself! I loved this video and I will definitely be subscribing! Thank you gentlemen!

While my elderly mum was in hospital me and my sister watched and listened for a while on the security camera which was set up in the living room and there were loads of weird noises , the loudest sounded like something falling down the stairs. The only thing we could debunk was the sneezing noise which turned out to be the automatic air freshener. Very creepy experience though . Great episode again guys 😊❤

  • @queenofhearts6127
    @queenofhearts6127 Před 5 měsíci +62

Ok, I’ve looked over this footage and I have a theory…
When you two left and went outside the loud noise was the attic hatch being opened as they thought you’d left.
They were probably up there listening as they could hear you outside.
Then, just after the camera fell you could clearly hear them say ‘what is that?’.
I wouldn’t be surprised if they knocked it off with a pole from the hatch as it was above the camera.
They then put the attic hatch back (hence the second set of noises) as they knew you were still around.
Then, when Joe says he’s going to turn his torch off you see the light shade swinging, caused by them being up there.
The voices throughout all sound like the same young person to be honest.
If only you’d put the camera on the attic hatch!!
It’s a bungalow with a large attic - probably squatters using the electric supply for light and a heater up there.

Not if they are living there and have a setup up there.
I’m guessing a couple as the voice sounded female.
They would have kept as quiet as possible.
They have a good thing going with the free electric etc.
It makes sense that Elliot & Jo felt heat in the room (from above) and the lamp shade was swinging.

    • @SarahSB575
      @SarahSB575 Před 5 měsíci +22

That doesn’t seem that likely to me, it’s pretty rare to have squatters outside of cities. And if they were squatting I’m pretty sure as soon as they realised no-one was claiming or visiting the property other than urban explorers they’d secure the property. Why would you live in the attic if you could have the whole house? Squatters use the whole house, they don’t live in tiny bungalow attics.

Excellent theory! Not all squatters take over properties, a lot will come and go quietly and hide out in lofts like you've theorised. If they aren't a particularly confrontational couple then silently hiding would definitely be their preferred choice. They won't know why some people have turned up, could be armed, could be specifically looking for them, etc.

Greetings from the central Sierra Nevada mountain range of California guys!
I just discovered your channel a little earlier this evening, and I really enjoyed what I saw. You're both quite respectful towards the unseen occupant (or occupants), of the home. Especially trying to get a feel for the home, it's story, and the memories laid out in the numerous photographs spread out throughout the rooms.
Yours is a really refreshing take on paranormal investigations you know? Just leave the static cameras to record what they will, without the overacting, wide-eyed looks, the constant pushiness of other so-called "investigators", who get to the point of almost demanding those who may still call the place home to 'make a noise', 'say something', or the oldest demand of all 'give us a sign'. It's been my experience that those who have passed over, but yet still remain can be a fairly shy lot, and depending on the span of time since they transitioned to a non-corporeal state, still may be confused & possibly a bit frightened. So I think you both did admirably in backing off and allowing those in the home to respond in their own way.
I'll definitely be checking out your other videos, you've gained another subscriber this evening. Keep up the excellent work!

My employer of more than 15 years used to call me 'the witch' because of some of the things I foretold. For example I told him on a Friday that my cat, who had been living with my parents since I moved out, had died. Nobody had called me, I just knew. We had been very close for about 14 years. I found out for sure two days later when I visited for Mother's Day. I also told my boss that my grandmother had passed away in Germany, again before anyone called me to let me know. I also knew that my Bouvier Elsa would be dead when I came back from work and again I was correct. So it wasn't all that surprising that I would end up with a house that had some sort of presence. I felt it when I viewed the house for the first time. It had been standing empty for two years, mainly due to the realtor being a very unpleasant man. I almost didn't buy the house because of him. I felt the presence the strongest in the basement. I ended up putting mirrors in places where they would allow me to see behind me while walking down the hall, going down the stairs to the basement, while in the bathroom as well as my office. I never turned my back to a doorway, always stood sideways. The three dogs I had over the thirty years I lived there, one at a time, never went into the basement. The first Bouvier Noah cried a the top of the stairs every time I went into the basement. The next dog Elsa never even went down the first or second staircase for the ten and a half years she lived with me. Levi was the same way. I got each dog when they were puppies, after the other one died, so it isn't like they picked up another dog's feelings. I also looked after a friend's Malamute and she never went near my stairs and she practically lived in the basement at her house. That 'being watched' feeling never left me. About a year or so before I moved out, I was painting the back door at the bottom of the fist set of stairs. It was late at night, Levi was asleep somewhere in the house and it was very quiet. I dropped some paint on my shoe and stood up really quickly in time to see a tall, human shape, sort of smoky black, move down the hallway. I almost yelled, "I knew it!" I also had repetitive dreams while living in that house, some of which I had every night for years and then the dream would come true, which really freaked me out. One night I was dreaming that I was outside in the sun playing with puppies when suddenly I was lying in bed at my house. I woke up to find a man dressed in all black with his face covered standing by my bed. He was holding a huge knife. I woke up to find a man dressed in black his face covered standing beside my bed holding a large knife. He came towards me and I tried to reach for the knife I had tacked to my mattress but I was unable to move, I was frozen in place. I then woke up for real, still unable to move. That dream scared me so bad that I was scared to go to sleep for a couple of nights. Nothing about entities, etc. surprises me after the things I went through living in what was essentially a haunted house.

My father in law has just passed away and it’s been barely a week, 8:00 seeing the bed with the hospital table is just a reminder of how sad it was when it was just myself , my parents who honestly barely knew him , my hubby and his sister who went to see him. He had a a huge family coming from a French Canadian family but this is the insane part…you’d think he would have been flooded with his family at the end but no , and even his step children who he helped raised for the pass 40 some odd years never ever came to the hospital 😢

Yes, sad to think about but the son could have died somehow or perhaps they didn’t have a good relationship and were no contact.
My father died without anyone dealing with his belongings because he was abusive and I cut off contact. If you consider how common domestic violence and other types of abuse are I suspect there are plenty of men who end up dying alone (not saying this particular guy was abusive).

At 22:25 if you look to the right side of the door frame, where you can see the glare of your night vision light. If you look above that glare right at the time I told you. It almost looks like something peeks into the shot very fast. Almost looks like a tiny ball of light. Only saw it for a split second then the camera changed to a different camera. Could be nothing, could be something. Take a look back if you're interested. Just wanted to let you know I did notice something. Thanks for another great video. You da best gents.

Did you ever look in anything like the fridge which might have stuff in there still with it working, with dates on to see just how long the house has been abandoned? Just a thought. There are two things I feel I ought to mention. First; the camera that fell, does anyone else see the face in the carpet, floor, or whatever it is the camera is aimed at when it fell? It’s just when you go to pick it up. It’s a man’s face with a moustache? Would be interested to know if anyone else has spotted this? Second; the photo of the ‘Graduate’, I feel I recognise the person - but just can’t be 100% sure, as I didn’t know them personally, and it’s a long time since I saw a copy of the same photo. Sorry I can’t mention names or places, but years ago, I knew someone who was a Priest. (he’s been dead a for some years now). When visiting him once, I saw this same photo in his Study. When I asked him about it (I naturally thought it was some relative of his) he said that it wasn’t, but that the photo had been given to him by the subject’s parents just before he was (the Priest) to conduct a funeral for him. (he did tell me the Graduate’s name - but I’ve forgotten) The Priest went on to say; ‘his body’s in church now - the funeral’s tomorrow) When asking, apparently the Graduate had been killed in a car accident. There were others in the car - but tragically he was the only one killed. I think there were three of them.(two others with him who survived) Not quite sure how this helps anyway - but just thought I’d share it with you guys. New to your Videos - but they’re interesting.
