I don't think they actually saw you. Because if they did they'd have said summut and/or left. They wouldn't have ignored you, unless they thought you two were stealing copper wire too and it's the norm there! Because they might've thought you had guns too.

It was unfortunate you guys couldn't get an investigation done but I'd be shitting myself as well when the angle grinders went off. The fact they were stripping metal at night and the next day means they're most likely gypsy's.. may have been avoiding your lights thinking you were security or just not noticed. It's a different anxiety when there's actual people around that could hurt you, as apposed to spirits!

That was one hell of an episode. I was freaking out the whole way through, especially with Elliot waiting at the bottom of the stairs when Joe went up. We brought the exact same tent last summer. When those people showed up, I said to my hubby, how the hell are they gonna pack that up in a hurry. We had to practice folding that bloody thing three times first before we took it anywhere and even then, still had trouble with it. Those instructions are shit! In America some states are "open carry". That means you might be in a restaurant and the person next to you may have a gun on their hip. Other states have "concealed carry". You just don't know who's "packing".
