Do you think Halle Bailey would refer her entire glam squad to a racist Russian nail salon? She wasn't racist until she couldn’t accommodate her and her sister who were late. Life is situational and not everything is racism. Sometimes it's just business! Black people pulling the race card isn’t a good look when we are not following through on our promise, which is to arrive on time for an appointment that we scheduled. 😅
We can’t ignore that people will put on mask to get what they want out of you then switch up . I just have a hard time believing this woman wasn’t being rude and is now backpedaling because she feels Halle telling her experience is messing up her business . I can see the owner being aggravated being she’s full of a baby . Idk I just believe she’s using her pregnancy as a cop out. That’s just my opinion .

Unpopular opinion here: I can sort of understand the racism claim. Although it’s difficult to do so from
Our vantage point, we have to take the celebrity status into consideration. It is not exactly logical to compare her to regular folks Bc she’s not. Basic 101 in logic, we must consider all relevant factors and compare them on basis first. So let’s think about if Taylor Swift or Hailey Beiber came in. In other words logically we would need to Compare to white celebs, not other average folks, in order to LOGICALLY discern if the treatment was racially-based or unusual. . Now do you think the lady would’ve done this? I don’t. It’s almost like “you’re a blk celeb so we are treating you like anyone else”. I get it. They know how they’re usually treated and they know this was unusual; we don’t have that lifestyle comparison to draw from.
Also, often you can only sense racist energy, but it is performed in a way that leaves room for plausible deniability. We weren’t there. They were. I would be more likely to trust their impression of her energy. Plus Europeans are notoriously racist and often don’t even understand why they’re coming off that way because they think if they’re not engaged in blatant overt hatred they aren’t doing anything wrong. Heck even American whites often miss the nuance; how much moreso are whites from homogeneous white regions often very obliviously offensive. Idk Just some observations in their defense .

Her explanation of the situation is coming across as entitled. If she knew her sister was going to be late, why not set an appointment around the time she would be available or if they do walk-ins just come in at the same time. It’s a bit inconsiderate to expect them to potentially put other customers off schedule by being 35 minutes late. Someone else could have had an appointment scheduled that she didn’t know about…Also, her boyfriend completely misrepresented what happened and as a result, this business can potentially be ruined. They might want to hope that the salon owner doesn’t sue them for defamation…

I was a receptionist at a nail salon in LA. PLENTY of celebrities went there & even Oscar winning actors had to make an appointment and arrive within a reasonable time frame. One service takes about 40-50 minutes, so 35 minutes late would set us back by a whole appointment. If the schedule was tight enough clients wouldn’t even add a few more minutes of a massage had they not scheduled it ahead of time.
When you’re too late, you just give us your number, hang out at a nearby restaurant or something until we give you a call when someone cancels. Or make a whole new appointment.
I would have turned Halle’s sister away to do my job correctly and not get fired or start a chain of events where everyone is waiting 20-30+ minutes because of taking Chloe’s service.

I worked in customer service for years and I'm a consultant, customer facing and for companies.. they also expect discounts and "special treatment" even they're a long time customer. Be real. More often than not, they get that special treatment or discounts based on their previous business, continued business & future references. It's why ppl ask for a late fee to be waived when it was the 1st time late. This is no different.

Grace beyond the grace period is up to the business owner’s discretion and I would’ve asked her sister to reschedule as well. It’s a business with clientele outside of them. Starting a service later than scheduled impacts the perception of their business and possibly cost them loyal customers. I’d rather lose two customers than the number who came after them.

I believe men are attempting (have been for a while) to do this mass-negging of young women by convincing us that oh all men are like this and that and you just have to accept what you don’t want, in an attempt to leech off of us but it’s backfiring HARD.
Instead, most young women are either getting more ruthless dating men or going full-on radfem (different from libfem, to clarify) female-separatist and I’m not kidding. I’ve been on radfem instagram and twitter and it’s primarily teenage girls who have been “blackpilled” about men due to reading how men talk about us online. Men are shooting themselves in the foot.

I'm a service based small business, 35 mins doesn't just cut into other clients, you now aren't able to pee or eat for the rest of the day because appointments are scheduled about 10 to 15 minutes apart. Being heavily pregnant that would have been a no go. I schedule 7 appointments a day and that works about to be a 14 hour day there is no way I would have accepted the 35 minutes late no matter how good the client.
I used to feel bad for Halle, but now I see that both her and DVD are one in the same. That innocent angelic persona she puts on is clearly just that, a persona.

Halle and Chloe went elsewhere to get their nails done together. Halle should of left it like that instead of going on social media knowing she have millions of followers that will side with her. Halle said it wasn't a big deal, but it was for her that's why she jumped on social media as soon as she got in her vehicle. Then she tells DDG about the situation. Then DDG gos on social media knowing he have millions of followers that will do what he asked of them.DDG telling his millions of followers that Halle was kicked out of salon, lady is racist and to give women salon business 1 star. Both of them caused this pregnant women drama and fear by DDG and Halle followers calling harassing lady, causing pregnant lady stress and giving bad reviews on her business. Both of them should be shame of their self. Both of them fool around causing drama on social media can hinder both of their careers. Not everyone on social media mentally stable. Now that it looks bad Halle trying to play it down as no big deal.🙄 But they both made it a big deal for the salon woman getting harassed on social media and threatening phone calls by Halle and DDG followers.
