In this video I share 6 everyday healthy habits that I practice.
The course I took about the lymphatic system is in Swedish by Karin Björkegren Jones. She has a highlight on her Instagram / karinbjorkegrenjones "Lymfskola" that might be useful.
I get so many questions about the things in my apartment and what I like and wear so I've collected links for many of them below.

I love that you talk about the importance of comfortable clothes for our health! I'm often seen as lazy as I come home and remove anything that's uncomfortable and usually opt for comfortable lounge wear. I've done this my whole life. As I've had kids and got older I feel the difference in digestion, inflammation and even pain when i am able to be comfortable in my clothing! This makes so much sense as blood and fluids need to move! Thank you Benita!

Benita and others who struggle with posture -- often it's less about pulling your shoulders back and more about getting your HEAD back and your eyes up. We tend to tip our heads forward and down all the time and the weight of your head is what's pulling your shoulders forward. Fix the head position and everything else falls in line so much more easily! Worth a try anyway :)

I love that you don't let lack of a companion keep you from outings. I've learned to appreciate my own company especially in places like museums where I can linger over exhibits as long as I want to, and in cafes where I can sit meditatively while observing all the bustle in my surroundings. Another pleasurable video. Thank you.

Thank you (& if you ever do a full lymphatic exercises video, I'll be there ;)

Ms. Benita thank you for sharing your time in daily life. Yes it’s good to remind us to walk, to do exercise, and to eat a balance meal. The lymphatic system is not like our heart that pumps out but rather it’s drainage . Our bones, spleen, tonsils and tissues are parts of our structure so it’s important to take care since it help move our waste. Thank you Ms Benita🙏

Thank you Benita for sharing some of your daily/weekly routines. After a dreadful start to the year I am trying to regain my strength after a cardiac arrest. I used to walk between 6-8 miles 3 times a week but now I've taken to shorter walks daily, also your exercises, and stretches looked like something I could handle at the moment, and its always great to see some of the scenery when I watch your videos. So thanks again Benita, I'm going to be more mindful in the future about getting into some sort of routines that will help my well being.

Hello Benita! 🌼🌷🌼 I love walking ~ I don't do it enough, I really do need to start some sort of schedule (great for mental health). I am starting to do some stretching, currently doing it 3x week, feel great when I do it.😀 I have been 'dry brushing' on my body every night - this is a habit that I love to do, my wind down for the night before applying all my creams. Your white indoor sandals look very comfortable, I will check your shop links. 🥰 Thank you again for taking the time to share these healthy habits - enjoy your content so much and all the best to your mom. 💓💕💓

  • @jacquelinemcgowan8164

thank you Benita this is great, i am in need of making some changes so this has really inspired me. I have got rid of my leggings that were so tight on my stomach i read that can make you very bloated and that made sense, the massage in the shower another great tip, all these changes are not huge but better daily habits even small ones make all the difference. I have also cut out sugar and lowering my salt intake too, and drinking a big glass of water first thing and taking my vitamins at the sme time is a win win.
Walking 30 mins per day as well. If you read the book tiny habits one of the things is nothing seems to change initially but 6 months down the road the changes are very clear. Once again thank you i love your video,s, hope your mum gets better hugs

Hola!!!

Thank you for the tip of the lymphatic activation exercises. I will investigate that.

Yes, do! I'm sure there's information out there in English too since my course was in Swedish.

I do similar movements to help my painful arthritic joints and improve mobility and my posture. I’ve also instinctively been doing those massages in the shower and applying lotion for pain relief. It really helps.

That is such a beautiful museum - I went there when I visited Stockholm.

I offer massage therapy, and encourage my clients to embrace healthy habits like these!
I've long done Tai Chi and dance - and recently began doing the Japanese Morning exercises which offer a great wake up to the lymphatic system! In just 6 minutes, I fell refreshed and ready for the day! I will receive my monthly massage exchange session tomorrow, followed by a steam sauna - I have included massage in my self care for nearly 40 years! (And my mother rubbed my back and feet as I was growing up!)
I love your inspiring channel ❤

Hello Benita. Hope you are doing well. I'm glad you found ways to incorporate a new health routine into your already established one. Lymphatic circulation is rarely talked about, but really important.
I wish we had more interesting exhibit/activity for a more reasonable price here (everything is 30$+)
I see your hair is getting much longer now.

  • @alejandragaraymena8199

Just lovely ☺️, please share the lymphatic system’s exercises, thanks

I took a course and don’t feel like I can share all the teacher’s knowledge here but I added the link to her Instagram where she has a highlight “Lymfskola”. You’ll find it in the description box!

I love habits. They make my mind very peaceful although I don't mind some spontaneous actions. I recently moved in with my husband and I am still working on those old habits and creating some new so I can feel better.

I really enjoyed this video !! My husband and myself take daily walks around our local park. It feels good to get out and walk and exercise ! Thanks for the tips you shared. We both have lost weight in the process of exercising and eating better . I've lost 50 lbs and my husband has lost 40 lbs !!
