I mention my Patreon page in the video but I've made the decision to close it due to the lack of interest ❤️
Darn it. I would have signed up! I love what you share about Sweden! My grandmother was from Sweden and I hope to visit someday. Will definitely be looking back at your videos for the restaurants, sights, and museums you've highlighted on your channel. Thank you for all of your lovely content, Benita!!
I think right now it is difficult for some to put money into patreon, not sure it is a lack of interest. I am very interested in all the fun stuff you vlog about....but being retired means I need to be frugal with every penny. Best of luck to you! I am glad to have found your channel! And I will support you through watching your vlogs and commenting. Happy New Year 2023!
Oh dear that’s a hard decision. It has to be difficult to be a content creator. But please know, as others have said, lack of interest isn’t always the reason. I love your videos and look forward to each one.🙃
You would be surprised, how ignorant some people are.
That was beautifully done, Benita! Fascinating facts, gorgeous video, humor, excellent pacing.
Glad you enjoyed it!
I keep telling my husband Sweden seems like heaven on earth. I hope one day I can visit, or better yet, move there.
Who would actually think Sweden and Switzerland are the same thing?! :D Great video xxx
I know, right?
Haha! In Spanish, Sweden and Switzerland sound alike, Suecia and Suiza, so that's the only way I can imagine having them mixed up.
Some Americans. They also get mixed up between Australia and Austria 🤦♀️
@@anne-mariev.3295 Yes that happens so often,, sighs.
the australia-austria thing happens more often than one would think! my friend, she lives in new york city, sent me a cookie jar some years ago, which never arrived. luckily she‘d sent it by registered mail and she had the post office trace it.
well, instead of making it‘s way to me, in Klagenfurt, Austria it got sent to Canberra, Australia.
no joke.
i never got that cookie jar, it now lives somewhere down under and is hopefully appreciated as the wonderful gift it was meant to be. for me. 🤷🏻
this was by no means the first, nor i’m sure the last time something got shipped to the wrong continent. at least sweden and switzerland are both in europe.
thus ended my rant about geographically challenged people. 😉
servus from austria 🇦🇹 (the one with the lederhosen; not a joey in sight), monica 📚🐾🐾
Benita, I was absolutely delighted to be taken to eateries, given a most idyllic tour of your country, and offered explanations and stories.
You’re a great storyteller, and have a great channel!!! I’ve been here for a long time.🖐 Though I rarely comment, please know I take everything in.
Thank you so much for watching!
The countryside houses and the wild flowers are so simplistic and beautiful.
Dalarna is so beautiful!
Such an advanced country: equality, responsibility with the environment, polite yet not overly done….I hope I can visit next year.
Sweden is definitely worth a visit!
Hej Benita! Thank you so much for this overview of the Swedish culture and landscapes. I loved it.
I’m so happy you liked it!
I feel so Swedish , I always celebrate midsummer , I love smorgasbord . And coffee and pastry . I was born in the wrong country xxx
You would enjoy it here!
I feel the same way born in Canada and so culturally deprived from the beauty of many other countries and their beauty.
Thank you so much for this. Sweden is beautiful and I look forward to visiting someday. As an American, I am envious of your lifestyle and social egalitarianism. As I’m sure you know, we are falling apart. But there are always countries like Sweden to look to as examples of a shining light.
We’re all upset over what’s happening.
@karenstewart I’m trying to hop a ship or plane and be a stow away I’m so done with the US ……if I won the lotto I’d leave tomorrow 😭
Hi Benita…I am a retired history and geography teacher….I am always surprised when people do not know where the countries of the world are located… it is so important to know about different cultures…thank you so very much for introducing us all to the beauty of Sweden….
Benita, your voice and the beautiful scenery worked better then antidepressant for me today, thank you
I’m so happy if you found it helpful!
that was beautifully captured Benita! I have stayed in stockholm for a year, and there is something unique about stockholm, and sweden that I love it so much! Breathtaking beautiful, peaceful and the culture of innovation here is truly inspiring!
As an Abba child brought up in the late 70’s -80’s, being a family of Volvo and Saab owners I love so many things Swedish. I would love to visit for midsummer. It Looks such a wonderful celebration. Lovely visit thank you.
Glad you liked the video!🇸🇪
Hello Benita!😃 This is amazing! Love how you put this altogether, your voice is very pleasant to listen to - I often drift sometimes when I am listening to your videos and will often have to re-watch in case I've missed anything! 😍 I do find it interesting that in general we can form myths about any country - but we are so very much alike. 💞💓💞 Lovely, refreshing content - Thank you so much for sharing - until your next video, have a great week!🌺🌼🌺
I’m so glad you enjoyed it!🇸🇪
Loved this 🙂. Smiled the entire time, including as I was chuckling. Wonderful video, thank you! 🌻
Yay, I’m so happy to hear that!🇸🇪
Bonjour Benita....merci pour cette belle visite très intéressante de votre beau pays que j adore et oû j aimerais bien vivre ❤
Merci! Thank you so much for watching!
Thank you for doing this Benita! I loved it. I also love Dala horses :)
I’m so glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you for the very interesting Swedish history 👌
Glad you enjoyed it!
My parents had a Swedish family friend for decades. He came to us when I was just a toddler and wouldn't want to sleep in my bed so my Mom decided to rent it out to guests of the world famous toy fair here in my hometown. So Stig was added to our family and visited us every year during the fair. He had a beautiful country home near Gothenburg/Göteborg and invited us to come to Sweden to visit him and his family and stay at this house. He lived also in the city. This was the BEST vacation I was ever on. Sweden is so beautiful and green and empty. It had only 8 million inhabitants when we went there in the mid 80s. I really would love to revisit.
What a great story!
So interesting! And the pictures of you when you were little are so cute! One of the things I admire the most of Sweeden is the gender equality part. As someone from a Latin American country we don't have that kind of egalitarian society at all. Regarding the food, do many people practice veganism or not so much? Definitely hope to visit one day your beautiful country! 💕😊
Veganism is quite common here nowadays!
Great informations. Thanks👍i was on Sweden almost half year and i love swedish nature, archtekture and style of life
Just Loved this one, all öff it was so Great, more please . Thanks for Sharing xx
I like your videos a lot 🫶 - they are a mixture of calming/educational/entertaining content. We have spent a few summers in Sweden and love the country and the attitude - have some friends there and love coming back. I usually don’t comment - all is perfect 😉 now I got a suggestion - we really adore the archipelago - it’s so unique, breathtaking… islands of all different sizes one behind another and another… I would enjoy this content so much ❤ and a typical Swedish house to me is a fisherman cottage with outdoor stairs to the second floor 👌like in Lagarsvik on Ljusterö😊 Keep up great work 🤟
Hello,Benita. This Was a veryvery interesting video.many thanks...Wishing you a very nice and happy summertime 🌞🌞🌞🤗
What a lovely country, Sweden! I love the red cottages - and the trash and recycling system 😊
Dalarna is such a pretty part of Sweden!
Beautiful video! I wonder if the buffet, as a type of meal, was invented in Sweden. Where I live (in the Balkans), we call it "švedski sto" which translates as "Swedish table".
The word Smörgåsbord is Swedish and means an assortment of dishes so possibly!
@@BenitaLarsson same here in the Czech Republic, "svedsky stul " :-) Amazing video!
A beautiful country, maternal heritage, but little known. One I would like to discover eventually. Thank you
Another brilliant and very interesting video x
I was laughing out loud when you said that there don't walk Icebears in Stockholm😂😂😂
Loved the video!!!
Yay, I’m so happy to hear that!
I have been waiting for a video like this one, thank you for sharing. 🇦🇺
What a lovely video and so informative. Love the Moose!
This is so cool! I liked seeing that the elk/moose (?) made it into the paper.
It was a bit of a surprise to see him there!
Loved this video 😊👍🏻
I’m so happy you enjoyed it!🇸🇪
Very informative & great content. Thank you!
Fab video , as always ,loved the insight to Sweden ❤️
Glad you enjoyed it!🇸🇪
Yay, my favorite swedish girl does a video on Sweden!! 🎉💙💛💙
I think, Sweden is one of the most beautiful countries in the world in so many ways.
The really only thing I could even imagine that I don't crave for, are the long dark winters. 🙈 They are even longer & darker than in Germany, and that's already way to much for me.. 🤐😅
Thank you, Benita! ♡
Yes, if you’re not used to it the darkness can be hard to accept!
I really love this video!!!! Beautifully done!!! Can’t wait to visit next summer 🥰
Your contents are interesting and soothing as always 🥰
I’m so glad you enjoyed it!
Beautiful and witty. You never disappoint ❤😊
Thank you! Loved it. 🥰
I’m so happy you did!

I really enjoyed your little travelogue Benita. Thank you
Thank you for this wonderful video, the scenes from the countryside are positively idyllic. So beautiful!
Thank you , so lovely to see everything you presented with such kindness ❤️
Love it! I love learning about new places, cultures, and people! Thank you
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you so much for this wonderful video! So much of it is very familiar to me. I am married to a Dane and a lot of the food that he and his family would eat a special events it seems is also eaten in Sweden; pickled herring, Aquavit (usually consumed together because the fish need to swim), a variety of cheeses and smoked salmon. I would love to visit Sweden someday, perhaps when we go to visit my husband‘s relatives in Denmark.
The fish need to swim!🙌🏻
Very interesting video. Thank you for taking the time to put it together. 🇸🇪
Glad you enjoyed it!🇸🇪
brillant video and lots of fun: thank you so much.
Stockholm is still on my travellist!
Stockholm is definitely worth a visit!🇸🇪
Ah 😌 I do love me a “very Swedish video” and this did not disappoint! Thanks for sharing all the wonderful tidbits, it’s always very interesting to watch.

Great video, thank you for sharing some interesting facts about Sweden 🙏
Happy if you enjoyed it!🇸🇪
Thank-you, Benita, for your very informative video! Such beautiful scenery, too!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Hej och tack från USA! It was so lovely to see this video, the food and everything reminded me of my grandparents. I hope to see Sweden in person some day.
You should definitely try to visit sometime!
Thankfully I've learned from you that Sweden and Japan seems a lot closer than I originally thought...you've mentioned (in another video) you take off shoes indoors to switch to slippers (which we Japanese all do), and IKEA pronounced as " i - ke - a" (in Japanese too) not "ai -ki - a" ^^
We do seem to have some similarities!🇸🇪🇯🇵
@@BenitaLarsson as an American who has adopted a no shoe policy at home, I can confidently say that the Japanese & Swedish cultures are superior to many 😉😊
Amazing Video! Many thanks for sharing!
Thanks for the “tour” lovely!
Glad you enjoyed it!
What a beautiful video. This is your best work. Loved it.
Aww, thank you so much!
Beautiful video! 👌👌Thank you for sharing!😊😊

What a fantastic video.
I visited Stockholm on business in 2007, it was a very short trip and I’ve promised myself I’d return.
What a wonderful place, I remember fondly the lovely food and people. Thank you for
reminding me 🇸🇪🇸🇪🇸🇪xxx
You should definitely return on your own time!
Lovely vidéo Benita, thank you !!
Thank you so much for watching!
What a great idea for a video 👍Thank you Benita for always putting so much thought in everything you share with us 🧡Love from Houston
Glad you liked it!🇸🇪
Beautiful video! Thanks so much for sharing a taste of Sweden. I love the unspoilt and beautiful Scandinavian countryside and fjords. Thanks for sharing.
Dalarna was so beautiful!
What a wonderful video!! More like this one will be very welcome, Benita. Thanks 👏👏👏👏💗💗💗💗
I’m so happy you enjoyed it!🇸🇪
Love the moose! Love the traditional homes and beautiful scenery. Coincidentally I am going to Ikea later today so I will have your voice in my ear as I shop (for not too many things!)
Hello Benita! I loved this video! Thank you.
I’m so glad you enjoyed it!
Aww, thank you for this, loved it. We used to live in Bremerhaven GE and some of this reminds me of that area. Appreciate your work and all the beautiful scenery. We are still in drought stricken dry west TX, so love seeing other places that are green.
Just met some Texans over midsummer. Stay cool!
What an enjoyable video, Benita! I enjoy your vlogs very much! 🌼🌻🌼
I’m so happy you do!
Beautiful beautiful video, Benita. Thank you!
Thank you so much!
Fabulous! So interesting and enjoyable!
I’m so glad you liked it!🇸🇪
Your grass is definitely greener :)
I also appreciate the way of thinking and doing in Sweden (and her neighbours) thank you.
Thank you so much for watching!
Thanks for this video. Very interesting! And great idea about the Patreon page!
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you!
This was a wonderful idea!
Benita, such a well done video as always. I like your channel. Simplicity and beauty. Really lovely.
Thank you so much!
Deer routinely wander around Washington, DC, including sometimes invading upscale shops in Georgetown. And no garden plant is safe if you live near the park. Hopefully the Moose browsing around in Stockholm are safe and don't get hurt or hurt anyone!
Muchas gracias, aprendí cosas que no sabía
Big thank you for this beautiful video 🫶🏼
Thank you so much for watching it!🇸🇪
I thoroughly enjoyed this "very Swedish video", what a beautiful country, thank you for sharing, Benita!
I enjoyed this video very much, thank you
Querida Benita, disfrute mucho de tu video y de la forma tan cálida y amena que tienes para conducir este hermoso canal. Me gustaría aprender más sobre la cultura de Suecia. Un abrazo grande desde el otro lado del mundo, Bolivia.
Thank you, I'm so glad you enjoy it!
This video is incredibly fantastic.
Wow Benita I love this, you made me travel today❤
Lovely video, Benita! Addressing the Switzerland/Swedish confusion, when I tell people I am Portuguese, many times I am responded to with "Oh, so you speak Puerto Rican"? (Heavy sigh).
Haha, that’s very relatable 😅
That is so funny. I am from Puerto Rico, and the culture from Portugal and PR are so so different! Greetings! 😊
@@Isabella25271 Greetings, Isa. Obviously Geography was last taught to kids in the 80's. Sadly, many people have a hard time knowing where their own State is on a map! Many people still do not know Puerto Rico is part of the U.S. even a former President that I do not have to mention! Sad.
I love my Volvo and have had Sweden on my bucket list for awhile now. I’d love to visit next year, from the states, to celebrate my 10th wedding anniversary. Thank you for another great video. It makes me want to visit even more!
I love this video. Watching your videos actually inspired me to start trying to learn Swedish on my Duolingo!
So fun to learn a new language, isn’t it!
I just watched this video again :) Benita you really care about the things you want to show and share and it shows in every video. So glad I found your channel, you are my favorite CZcamsr :))) 💛Sending you lots of greetings from Houston 🤠
Aww, thank you so much!😊
That was interesting and very informative. Thanks so much for sharing. 🥰
Glad you enjoyed it!
I loved the beautiful wooden horses and the red cottages 😍And your childhood pictures are so pretty. You still look as pretty today. 😊
Lovely video. I loved ❣
So happy to hear that!
Thank you for sharing...some facts. Are interesting...and always good to know on your culture ...I would like to visit Sweden..
Sweden is definitely worth a visit!
