  • In this tutorial, I'll show you how to disable Windows Defender in Windows 10/11. Windows Defender, also known as Microsoft Defender Antivirus, is a built-in security feature designed to protect your system from malware and other threats. However, there may be instances where you need to temporarily disable it, such as when installing certain software or troubleshooting specific issues. I'll guide you through each step of the process, ensuring you can easily turn off Windows Defender when needed.

So although when I go to security settings it does show that there is no active antivirus program on the computer when I go to my task manager under processes it is still showing the antimalware service executable running and consuming resources as well as anti-malware core service do you have any way to disable these as well? I also realized after restarting the computer twice it deleted the disabled anti-spyware registry command from the list automatically and I had to re-input it
