They need to make an episode with just the Romulans betraying each other again and again.
Omg I want it 😅
Ensign Gary. A proud member tf the elite Red Shirts who haven't died yet. Standing proud with Ensign Ricky.
Glad he made it through the episode with bones intact 😅
Moopsy is going to be a whole goddamned meme in Trek circles, I swear
already is
And we love to see it 😤
I am certain that Livek is actually Badgy in disguise. Just look at those facial expressions, those are totally Badgy's facial expressions.
Ooh he did have the same look, didn't he 🤔🤔
The idea of Badgey taking on flesh is frankly disturbing as hell.
Oh, my Lord. You may be right. And if true, Badgey has been “upgrading” the Cerritos…
Moospy was so cute. No Bones about it!
If they don't have a plushie I can buy I'm gonna be Upset ™️
I never got my Murf Plush and then he went and evolved AND they tried to hide the show from us! @@renrants
Oh no 😭😭😭😭 no plush for me either I didn't even now it was a thing
They handed them out at some convention awhile back. I don't recall which one. Ya know, back when they were admitting they made the show @@renrants
@windgraceproject man I'm so sad they mistreated Prodigy so hard 😭😔
T'lyn was conspicuously absent. No bueno. I need my Vulcan crush fix.
Also romance-wise, I think it's clear now the writers are setting up an angry hate-f*** type relationship between Ransom and Mariner. Those two are going to hook up at some point, and probably destroy whatever quarters they're in at the time.
"Well, we're stuck in this Romulan holding cell."
"It's your fault!"
"Me?? You're the one who said it would be fun to eavesdrop on Romulan subspace frequencies during the away mission!"
-Angry lovemaking ensues-
"Oh look. We f***ed the door open. Let's go!"
I love Mariner and her girlfriend but it does kind of see like a vibe has been hinted at before between them too
@@renrants Well, I don't see her getting back together with Jennifer, even though they were great together. I think her next girlfriend will be T'lyn in a Yin-Yang opposites attract kind of way.
Yeah, that bummed me out 😭
True. When I was as young as ensign Gary, I (25 y.o woman) was apprenticed to an older married couple that acted EXACTLY like Ransom and Mariner. It was both funny and annoying, having to work for them. They stuck together, until she died of cancer,, in her old age. They had 2 sons together. I suspect Mariner's parents relationship was similar to hers and Ransom's in the beginning, her father even looks like an older, black Ransom and she looks like her mother. Freud would have a field day with them.
I liked this much more than the premiere, even though I respected how they handled the issue there too. Moopsy is cute and I love all the interpersonal stuff in this one. Also Ransom having horse teeth at the end was hilarious for me
The teeth were so funny! I agree I liked this one a lot better than the premiere too, it just felt like it had more going on with the characters themselves
Yeah at this point im gonna need this dynamic between Mariner and Ransom to go in its natural direction, there is mad ass attraction and energy between them. And in actuality He really does believe in her and Beckett thinks hes a good commander - i can see them in a eventual relationship but still being hella antagonistic to each other
Yeah at this point they definitely have a weird but we'll established dynamic 😅

Thank you for introducing me to MoonCake with this video.
He is adorable.
He's so precious! He's from Final Space which has been erased from existence for hbo, but you can probably still find it on here www.wco.tv/ but it would obviously be verrry illegal to watch it 👀😉
Thanks for your funfun perspectives.
Any time, thanks for watching! :)
Poor Ensign Gary. 😂😂 probably my favorite joke in the series is in this episode(pss pss pss). And bloody hell moopsy
Omg I forgot to even mention it but that joke almost made me spit out my drink 😂
@@renrants 😂😂😂 big oof Ren

9:15 Oh, huh. I didn't remember that Rutherford said that he turned down those promotions _specifically_ to stay near Tendi. I thought he'd said something about it being to stay with all his friends.
... dude's got it pretty bad, doesn't he. Can't say I blame him.
Seriously 🥺 I ship it so hard 😭😭😭
4:53 oof, I felt that.
clever ensign
Poor Gary 😂
I feel like this episode didn't really stand out as far as the show goes, but I really enjoyed it. It's the kinda episode that you can only make after several seasons of a show because it's all about playing with changes the the status quo. Yes, the Moopsy was cute. Reminded me of my cat, except she's black, and just tries to eat my skin.
Yeah I think that's a good assessment, it was a fun episode, but didn't stand out as much as it could have
Glad you liked to episode. Thank you.
Not sure what the plan of these two jokers was as they were still locked up...by the way why were they still in the cage...but back to their plan then they would have been locked in their cage with a wild Moopsy on the loose.
Yeah it seems poorly thought out on their part 😅
Livik!
I hope he gets his promotion someday 🤣
I would like to watch this LD episode again after time I think. I LOVED the season premiere and felt this one was just a let down after the high of the 'Easter egg soup' of the season premiere! I'll admit the season premiere was probably like a super guilty pleasure... like gorging on sugary treats until, well, you know (I should avoid the body horror)...
Boimler's quarters fiasco was just hilarious, I think that might be my favourite part of this episode. Super silly and totally 'unrealistic' (in the context of the Star Trek universe), but so fun! This one still had scads of easter eggs, I think I'd have enjoyed it a lot more if they didn't release them both at the same time.
I certainly enjoyed both and can see your points for sure! Overall, I love the variety the series brings and the look into the non-bridge crew lives as you say.
Yeah, I wish they just released the premiere on its own, because I agree it feels like a lot with both of them side by side.
I loved all the voyager references in the premiere, but I think this episode was better structured narratively, although they were both great
The gags with Boimler's quarters were some of my favorite jokes too 😂
Sorry they're using ransom's teeth to feed the music is kind of funny to me and yes at times because it's animated things are funny that wouldn't be funny in live
Oh it's objectively still funny, I just have recurring nightmares about my teeth falling out so even animated it squicks me out 😂
Moopsy!
Yeah I found Ransoms explanation for "not gonna be my problem" pretty weak but good episode aside from that
Yeah, Like that was absolutely bizarre word choice on his part 😅
Plants have bones 🩻? Well, they can run a menagerie, wear clothes and speak so why not? (Moopsie!)❤
"Narj is ocified!" 😤 he was so indignant 😂
@@renrants Now we know it wasn't a metaphor.
Or was it foreshadowing? i.e. he's "boned."
Heinlein was a genius.
@michaelnolan6054 he was arguably deboned 😂
#Tenderford
They're so precious 😭😭
First sign of trouble this season...a good episode where the subplots aren't nearly as interesting or good as the main plot.
I still had fun though 😅 and I need a Moopsy plush
I wish they could make their mind of either money means something or not. A lucrative business?
I think some places have money, the federation just doesn't use it
@@renrants These humans in the cage aren't Federation citizens, then?
They might be, but I don't think it's illegal for federation citizens to have currency, we've seen them use Latinum from time to time, so I assume they just have stuff they wanna buy form societies that still use currency
being a cartoon save the horror a bit more than live action. IMO.
