Since Biden took office, there seem to have been more unfavorable results in America. These results include effects on the markets, such as price declines and sharp increases in inflation, as well as bank failures. I wonder if the sudden increase in interest rates will help value investors or if it would be wiser to stay away from the stock and financial markets for the time being.

Raising taxes to corporations, highest income earners, or to the 1% would eventually trickle down to the middle and lower class citizens. Just like increasing minimum wage to $20 per hour, consumers ended up paying more to offset labor cost. Increased in taxation discourages economic investment, innovation, and consumer demands.

Lie, I make well less than $200,000 and my taxes increased, not to mention medicare extra charges. This medicare tax is about $800 per month! Not to mention the hidden inflation tax. This is the worst ever!

Income taxes at any level is regressive. I'd rather pay higher consumption taxes than been taxed based on how much I make. These "tax the rich" or "pay your fair share" is punishing financial and/or economic success and it also encourages lower productivity and less spending on innovation

Taxing the rich is a tale as old as Robin Hood. Asking a venture capitalist whether or not he thinks increasing the capital gains tax from 15% to 45% is a little TOO obvious though, isn't it? I'm not saying I agree with it; I think it would ultimately hurt lower-income Americans because it would eliminate a TON of job creation, but the bigger problem is how it would just give the US government more money to waste. That would be like buying a drunk a whole truck full of beer.

Retirees have fixed income from SS. All government can do is cut budget, not borrowing money. Not engage wars or supply wars. It is easy to spend more, but it is hard to cut spending.
