Inflation hits people a lot harder than a crashing stock or housing market as it directly affects people's cost of living that people immediately feel the impact of. It's not surprising negative market sentiment is so high now. We really need help to survive in this Economy.
I think I could really use more guidance to navigate the market, it is completely overwhelming, I've liquidated most of my assets and I could really use some advice on what best to invest into.

I'm not so sure things were as perfect in the 80's under Reagan as many think. At least from a small farmers standpoint. Many many small farmers were bankrupt is what I've been told. The Obama budgets actually went into detail about how illegal immigration is awful for Americans- specifically for Social Security.
It's simple, add Federal Destination charges to every item imported across the border. Take the distance from the port of entry to the city where the business headquarters is located. Multiply by your coefficient of choice and there's your tariff. Friendly countries obviously get a discount. Pay it upfront and the finished product will be allowed into the country.
