I met a man who bought an EV. He is taking a new job 2,100 miles away. He admitted it will take him ELEVEN days to make the trip (instead of three) as a result of the EV. He MUST drive a specific route, make charging reservations in advance (6 hours at each). The required extra time/hotels, food, etc. will cost an estimated additional $1,800.00+ versus standard motor vehicle.

Not sure what reality you live in and I know people have short term memory loss but try to think back just a four short years ago to the year 2020. More than a MILLION Americans died on Trump's watch. More Americans than in all the wars we have ever fought. The economy had cratered, the stock market crashed, and unemployment soared. Supply chains broke and on top of the upside down tariffs Trump imposed on everything he ignited the inflation we have all had to live with.

I work at an oil refinery, there is a power plant less than a mile away that uses the natural gases from the refinery to burn and create electricity. Imagine how hard the refineries and power plants have to run to support everyones electric cars if 56% of the United States has them.
