Thanks for this. I followed it to a tee. Did both fronts today and it's pretty straight forward when following your instruction. First wheel took my about 2+ hours and second about an hour. I had your video on my tablet on my bike seat and would pause after completing each step. No trouble, very satisfied. Thanks again.

INTERESTING what you mentioned about the pads "breaking". I suppose it depends on the manufacturer. I replaced my pads (and disks) to my mx5 nc (not brembo) and the mechanic just said to go easy for the first 300 miles.

When selling the car probably advertising as services on time 😂

    • @FastandFun

Probably never sell it tbf. It’s now approaching 150k so worth more to me than anyone else as it still drives great. I’ll be looking back at its history (video) once I hit the big 150k miles!

@@FastandFun mines probably the same needs replacing, here it’s about 1200$ pads rotors front and rear, I was worried about the condition of mine but after seeing this I started driving mine back again until parts arrive it’s a nice car wasn’t being rude, just saying when people advertise the cars they’re saying services done on Time but in reality we don’t have the time to be on time

And how much torque do you apply at 13:50 for the brake disc bolt? Can’t find it anywhere online.

@@marekvannimwegen2206 Good question! I’m not sure that I torqued it up tbf. Sorry for the poor answer buddy 🤷‍♂️

Copper anti seize on the calliper bolt threads? I've been told there should be no issues here and makes the torquing more accurate. I use a tad of anti seize on the pin holes as well.

    • @barrybritcher

No. Adding lubricant you need to reduce the torque applied. 99 percent of torque specs are dry torque

OMG them pins look a pain in the ass to get out.

Not too bad but you will need a hammer and punch to ease (knock) them out 👍🏻
