    This is a detailed, step by step, description on how to palpate pectoralis major muscle by Keith Bootsma, RMT.
    Origins:
    1- Clavicular Head: Medial Half of Clavicle
    2- Sternocostal Head: Sternum & Costal Cartilages of 1st and 7th Ribs
    Insertions:
    1- Lateral Lip of Intertubercular (Bicipital) Sulcus of Humerus
    2- Aponeurosis of External Abdominal Oblique Muscle
    Functions:
    1- Flexion of the Arm @ the Shoulder Joint [Clavicular Head]
    2- Adduction of the Arm @ the Shoulder Joint
    3- Medial Rotation of the Arm @ the Shoulder Joint
    4- Extension of the Arm @ the Shoulder Joint (Flexed Arm)
    5- Horizontal Adduction of the Arm @ the Shoulder Joint
    Nerve:
    Medial & Lateral Pectoral Nerves
