- So how does this new MyHermes Self service pay and print in store really work?
I enjoy making these videos as they help build the community and gives me a video archive of my reselling journey and a recap on some
of my figures, which is helpful when looking at the growth of my business. But any helpful tips or things you want to see from me
please add them in a comment below and I will try to do this later. Thanks for watching. Pete
All information in this video is taken from my own knowledge and experience (Peter Allen), so only use this as a guide and make your own
judgement for what you want are happy to buy and sell the items for!
I source all of my stock from- Car Boots, Jumble Sales, eBay, Gumtree, Sphock and Local Facebook Groups
Below is a link over to Amazon home page, it is an affiliate link to my company, I have set this up if anyone wishes to help me
continue with my videos in more time spent on them or buying better equipment or software to make them even better. All you have
to do is when you are planing to shop on Amazon, click this link first and then a small percentage of your total spend Amazon
will send me a small amount of their profit for the link/marketing. This does not cost you anything extra it comes from Amazon.
It is not a lot but what I do get I put back into these videos. I hope you continue to enjoy.
Regards
Peter (Allens World)

Hi, yes the price of this service has now gone up since filming this video but I have been asked by Hermes to keep it up as they like the way I showed off me using their systems.
This is great tips. Never know about it. Totally money saver. So much appreciated. Thanks a lot.
That is going to come in really useful! Great tip, Thanks
I will definitely be using this, thanks alot
Great tip Pete!
This is a game changer, thanks for sharing.
Thanks for this, I have never used one of those machines before. I have printed them out myself then took them up to the parcel shop but it was £6.49. I always thought it would cost more because you are using their printer. Now I have seen your video I will be printing it off at the parcel shop.
Great tutorial thanks! 👍
I took a parcel with that number MyHermes online gives for this machine, went to shop to print label and almost got into an argument with the shop people because they didn't know the machine takes a number, they only thought it scanned that QR square dot code thing. Whilst they were busy telling me that I needed to go and get a QR code or a barcode, I found the menu, typed in the number and printed a label, stuck it on the parcel, handed it over to the staff who were now looking amazed and I said "it's good at least one of us knows how to use the machine"
Thanks for this :)
Hi,Been using this since September 2018,saved over £600, a bit time consuming if you have a few parcels as you have to put your details in on every parcel, but saved me a lot of money!
Can I ask a question regarding EVRi ..
great all round pete as my printers knackered dont need to buy one now.
Been using this since August last year and it has saved me loads of money on postage. I do not pass the savings on to my buyers though I still charge the same as if the item is heavy, like a job lot of hard backed books, as the buyers are used to having to pay. One thing you forgot to mention Pete is that Hermes send you a confirmation email with the tracking number for the parcel which you need to add to eBay for tracking. Although the service takes a little time if you have a few parcels you are also saving on printer ink and labels!!
The Price January 2019 is £4.11
The true cost is the price of your mental health when trying to locate the damn QR codes or countless numbers while breaking down and unnecessarily unrolling packing tape right down to the inner cardboard middle after choosing Hermes after spending days trying to uncover and track down the non existing customer services that you might have only heard unconfirmed rumours of or any other mysteries that just might help us penetrate the universe beyond us and add meaning to our human endeavours ... I meant send a parcel. To quote from Joseph Conrad's character once full of successful dreams only to be stuck fast in the hardened concrete anticipation of it all: "The Horror! The horror of Hermes!"
How about printing labels for eBay returns from Royal mail are they cheaper
I've been using this for a few months it takes a little longer but the price is excellent.
As an Ebay seller, I use Parcel2Go (who subcontract to Hermes) and drop to Hermes shop. The label costs me £2.39 incl VAT. All my parcels are usually 300 grams. But Parcel2Go charge that fee for anything up to 1KG I think.
I payed for Hermes through Ebay but I can't see a QR code or 6 digit pin?
