My chum sent me some guitar pedals in an extremely thick laminated cardboard box marked fragile in huge writing and they smashed it! Then Dormeo sent a bed via those arseholes and they left it on the street outside in the rain. Avoid use at your peril. P.S nice video very clear.

I saw ur vdo and I can see a lot of times you have not covered the recipients details like customers name Farid, please be careful customer can claim u for violating GDPR..
Didn't work nearly as well for me. I tried returning an amazon package this way but the qr code didn't scan. I held it for ages at different angles and it just wasn't scanning, I didn't receive a code /pin either. I'm going to have to try collection but my printer isn't working right now
Thanks.. The new Evri website will NOT work on any Apple device as far as I can see. I will have to use the "print in store" system using the instore computer & printer, as I can't even book anything on their website now.
Many people including me feel guilty to just drop off and even use their printer without ever buying anything from the shop. Do you have any idea if the shopkeepers actually get paid from them or is myhermes used just to increase sales of other items, without the shopkeeper earn anything or just a penny or two from us? Wondering if the shopkeepers pay for the label inks from their pockets too
Yes the shop keepers do get paid it is not much though last time I spoke to them I think it was about either 12p or 20p per parcel (not fully sure) but the more times we use them the more money they get for the what you could say inconvenience of storage of the parcels! Where it comes to the upkeep of the printers these are thermal printers so don't need ink.
just a heads up Pete but you need to put the card over the machine showing the top of the card to it not the bottom, thats why the touchless never worked for you. Excellent video I really wasn't expecting this when I googled it lol - belta! am off to the shop...
What do you do if you print your own hermes/evri label at home. Do you take it to your nearest drop off shop and a member of staff will scan it and give u a receipt or do u just walk into the shop and hand it over. Thanks!
hi pete, for the first postage label that you printed off, do you then have to pay for it in the shop or have you already paid it online, is all you need to do drop it off?
Maybe a stupid question, but if using Hermes and they collect from you, Do you still have to put the name and address of the customer on the parcel, then just add the Hermes post label.
I only just use the post label. I do however put their invoice on a royal mail wallet on the out side mainly for me so I know what label to attach but not needed for the postal service

It has been 3 days today, and my tracking number doesn't exist when I put this in to get an update. I'm stuck and need help. I cant even contact Hermes on the website via Holly because the tracking number they ask for, doesn't exist. What can I do?
Pete, when we send multiple item collections we obviously get charged for individual for collection . Do hermes ever offer loyal customers discount? We send everything we can through hermes and still only sending roughly 10 a day but never EVER get ANYTHING off are we doing something wrong ? Simply not enough ? Or do hermes not ever offer this ? We have a collection service because we have to travel 20 miles to closest drop off point
I have had this my self in the past. If you have a online account with Hermes which they can see the level of parcels going out each day they can offer a credit note to your account. But this is quite had to get with lots of communication needed. But I did it a few times and got over £40 over a several months period

Also I'm assuming if you don't have a printer you can print out the sticky label using the hermes machine printer machine in the shop you visited. Was finding it difficult to find what dimensions Myheremes asks for in terms of different parcel weights. That would be great help.

@@AllensWorld Done everything online but the app isn't displaying the QR code, it's just blank where it should be. No six digit code that I can see either. There is a 6 digit code on the PDF version of the label though, but not sure if it's the correct one as it's not displayed anywhere else?
My parcel is 27kg..and I have a courier comming to collect in 2 days..can I just print a label in a shop and stick it on at home before the courier comes? Thankyou

I can't see any option to print in store on either the classic site or the new Hermes site, is that only through a phone App or EBay or something, really difficult to find out anything the help guides are useless, people at the access points don't know how you get a code to print in store. I want to use it for returns because they give you labels on PDF and you can't send a PDF through an ebay message and when I tried converting it to another format the label doesn't work. Not like there is any hurry to be able to understand how this works ebay will only issue an automatic refund in 5 days, thanks Hermes and ebay. lol
Have you tried uploading a photo of the label through the Ebay message or send a direct email to their email address on your copy of the invoice from the sale on Ebay

Yes sometimes there scanners don't work that well
If the scanner doesn't work just put the tracking number instead

Yes it is collected from the shop as well.

Hermes use the Royal Mail Parcel size guidelines and yes you can print from the shop

What to do of you do not have printer
You can do everything online or on the app and just print it at the shop with the qr code

@@prwrp you should also get the QR code on the email conformation as well. But the code should also work as well.

if it is a able size and you have a qr code for it yes you can print it
