I hope I am still playing and enjoying when I hit my 90's. Loved it. Thanks. Larry

Only a soul as lovely and pure as Mrs. Etta Baker's can string a guitar as sweet and true, a truly gifted musician. She played for about NINETY years! An amazing human being.

Etta said that the music kept her going and that she praticed an hour a day. Well I wish everyone would pick up a "geetar" cause everyone I know that does gets and gives so much in return. I've seen it work miracles. Thanks to David and especially Edda.

The comment about her not liking to take other people's music is really interesting. I would have loved to ask her why she felt that way.
