====================================
VHT Penetrating Colour Dye for vinyl and carpeting is a one-step process that restores or changes the colour of any vinyl upholstery, seats and trim, or the" short nap" carpeting found in todays cars, boats and watercraft. It is ideal for use on stiff or pliable vinyl, simulated leather or plastic.
VHT Penetrating Colour Dye is not a paint but a true dye which permanently changes the colour of the substrate. It is extremely resistant to cracking or fading. Careful preparation is essential and all traces of dirt, silicone, protectorants and greases must be removed. Incomplete preparation will not produce a satisfactory result.
Applications: Carpet, Vinyl Dashboards, Vinyl Seats, Trunk Carpet, Soft Tops, Untreated Leather
Finish: Satin
Dry Time: Dries to the touch in 30 minutes. Dries thoroughly overnight. No curing required.
Aerosol: 325 ml (11 US Oz) - Auta a dopravní prostředky
Is that a '73-74 Plymouth Satellite? Strange, that's exactly what I'm working on ('73 Road Runner, actually)... Bought a brand-new rear seat cover for $20 new, clearance item, cream color, and it needs to be white... Well, guess it's VHT to the rescue!
Why the prep wipes on the front seats and the VHT prep spray on the back vinyl?
VHT is owned by Duplicate-Color so the products are the same.
Will this work on the vinyl on the steering wheel?
look nice for a day but paint will never stick to seats regardless
the trick is dying it not painting it
The prep conditions the vinyl by opening the pores and softening the material to bond the dye to the fabric.
