Nice job. My concern with the carpet is that it will rub off in a few months. Have you guys done a job on a carpet and been able to see how it held after 2 years? Thanks.
You forgot to mention you need “one hundred and fifty”cans to restore an entire car.
does it make the carpet crunchy. do you have to wash or vacume when done. does it chip off or fade this is really cool
+Joey “AKA G MONEY” G Yes, it will make the fabric stiffer. It would not chip off, but it could fade over time. You would not have to wash or vacuum right after application, just as needed.
I've done this many times, the best way to stop that is to scrub the paint in. I would use any dish scrubbing brush with a handle from your local Dollar Store. That you can throw the brush away after using it without any heartache
What product did you use to prep the headliner before painting it ?
Any recommendations for vinyl roofs? I want to change it from white to black until I'm ready to pull the vinyl off and leave it off.

How much paint did you put on the headliner
I have a Mazda RX-7 FD3s 1993. The interior is tan. I am already taking care of the panels however the roof and the carpet are tan. HOw many cans would you recommend to buy make sure I get a good black finish?
+Pocho Nieves Thank you for reaching out to us! Spraying the roof of a van might prove difficult with spray cans and it's a bit hard to say how many cans you'll need. We recommend starting with at least 6 cans, but you might need as many as 12 or more. Each can covers about 12 square feet. Please let us know if you have any more questions!

Pocho Nieves Unfortunately, we don't have anything for leather. The oils in the leather will reject the paint and prevent it from adhering properly. Vht Paint I’m curious about using this on the EXTERIOR vinyl top of a 1970s Pontiac. The top is currently black but I want to go to white. Your thoughts?

Wouldnt just fabric dye work the same serious question
I think fabric/carpet dye would be a superior solution. The paint is only on the surface and will show wear in a matter of months. Dye will get deep into the fibers and not show wear for a few years (or longer).
@@eddie3721 How reliable is this stuff, i sprayed all my dash prepped with red scotch brite and cleaned with wax and grease cleaner, will it chip or scratch off easy?
