Just love the new intro first thing, second is what a street NA beast you just finished, wow this 17 is just a awesome car without any boost, is truely impressive.
Super impressive 490whp almost every video I watch on Gen 3s with bolt ons and cams don’t get that high which I thought was weird. But that must just be how good y’all are
Good numbers. Personally I think a well thought out nitrous system with auxiliary fuel tank running c16 or E85 would be money better spent but these motors really do well naturally aspirated.
Great video content guys! Just curious! I have a 2014 5.0 with a complete cobra jet setup with vmp twinjet 67mm throttle body. Should I go stage 2 or 3 comp cams. Thanks. 🇺🇸USA all day and night 🇺🇸
Makes sense to throw cams into it if you got it open to change the OP gears. I can only imagine ported cobra jet, VMP twin 69 throttle body, headers, intake, E85 tune on a 2018!! Im guessing 520whp
I’am just surprise at what cams and longtube headers and a good tuner can do . Ken is the owner local or lived closed to your track, just curious to see what it would run on the 1/8 miles.👍💪😎👌
MPH in the 1/4 will tell you if it’s truly making those numbers. Dyno’s very by brand, they are ultimately a tuning tool first. That being said, those are great numbers, now let’s see what she traps at in the 1/4 mile.
My 15 gt performance package with comp cams mutha thumpers and stainless power long tube headers scavenger x pipe and Flowmaster outlaw mufflers c&l racer cai made 452hp at 6000rpm and 440tq at 5000rpm over baseline was 379hp and 342tq picked up 72hp and 90lbs of torque
That’s my car in the video and I really couldn’t be happier with everything. Ken did an amazing job with the install and Wengerd dialed the tune in perfectly. HPR really is the best, I highly recommend you go there
This is awesome to see I would love to see more builds like this these coyote make good power N/A. A ported CJ E85 and a stage 3 comp cam these should be making well into the 500whp mark this Is awsome
I’d like someone to bring me one to build all out n/a with cobra jet and all just to see what it can do. We get so wrapped up in how much they can make with boost that we forget that they can be impressive n/a with the right parts.
It is a loaded dyno which simulates load you have on the road. Also it is tuning so it is going from 3,000 to redline. So it is a long pull but if you did the same pull on the street you would be doing same. A unloaded dyno makes for faster pulls but also doesn’t load the car same as the road. So a loaded dyno does better for tuning.
Even more to love on the Gen 2....as long time tuner still new to the Coyote from the GM world......... Why the fck would you lock out your biggest benefit TRI-VCT with control over your DOHC independently on the 4v head THAT'S precisely WHY the Coyote runs so good literally its biggest advantage.... So if your valve spring rate and lobe aggression arent so excessive that your cam phasers can't maintain commanded position throughout a run, including idle via oil pressure, why on earth would you give that advantage away by locking out the cams?....you can log commanded/error and see how well it's working, ask Gen 3 Coyote guys with the wandering idle due to intake phaser issues... I could tell a lot in playing with my boosted Gen 3 tune and the exhaust cams especially, you can build or blow thru cylinder pressure for street as well ( aka try to kill some of that TVS torque on the street ) super fun to have that control and a huge reason I was attracted after all these years to the Coyote platform....can't imagine locking my cams out unless it was a necessity because the phasers simply wouldn't hold commanded phasing Very glad to see this wish THIS car was going to track!!! Well done everyone, love the logo!!!
I just wanted to play it safe. I daily the car and I know that stage 3 comp cams are no springs required I just figured it’d still be a solid build with the stage 2 and a little easier on the stock springs so that’s what I went with
@@georvisdial6318 yes I am the owner. As a daily, and I believe in any aspect, it’s much better than it was before. It’s more comfortable in the way it drives. When I’m just cruising it shifts much better. It’s an automatic and before the shifts felt uncertain now they’re on point. When I want to get on it it’s aggressive and will fly. The cams also have no affects on drivability really.
If that were an old 4v,if it made 450hp it would be in the 400s on torque, hell even a 2v usually making great torque to hp, I just hate winding the piss out of a coyote just to get tires to break loose on a 275 bald Achilles, where does the torque loose from old to new, vct? Think that's what made an 03 04 so much fun if u made 440hp u made 450trq, least till u heat soaked
I 100% agree with you. I’d rather put the money towards boost. But some just want to be naturally aspirated and want just a little extra. Main reason I don’t cam any of my cars is I throw boost on and the stock cams work great when tuned correctly for that.
If it’s setup right 10s my old S197 with stage 3 cams made 461 whp and went 11.0 In high Da and elevation. In good air I would of went 10.6s maybe 10.8s
Just love the new intro first thing, second is what a street NA beast you just finished, wow this 17 is just a awesome car without any boost, is truely impressive.
Thank you!! I was impressed with how the car did on the dyno and performs.
Great great numbers!!!! HPR and Wengerd tuning doing work as a tag team. 🙌🏾
Yes sir!
Awesome video brother! Killer numbers👍
Amazing on 93 tune 🔥
Boy howdy! Very impressive!! Great video sir!
Thank you sir!
Those are some VERY impressive numbers on a gen2 without a Cobra Jet intake manifold on 93.
I agree took me by surprise
Very impressive! Great work guys.
Thank you!!
Good #s! Gotta love the backdrop that is behind Daryle .🙌
Yes sir 😎
Super impressive 490whp almost every video I watch on Gen 3s with bolt ons and cams don’t get that high which I thought was weird. But that must just be how good y’all are

490 hps sound amazing, keep this mustang na.
That’s a huge gain
Good job Ken..
Thank you sir!
🔥🔥🔥🔥
Very impressive numbers!
I agree
Now I need me some 500s in mine lol 😂
Damn I was going to guess right around 500 too. Can't wait to get my opg and c/s in so I can boost mine! Maybe a sc cam too.
F-in awesome!
Great numbers 🤙 🇺🇸

Nice team 🔥 shop is looking good Ken. Enjoy your day sir 🏁🇺🇸🦍
Thank you sir!

Thanks wat I’m doing I’m currently 150shot Gen 2 going cammed next. Sub for content
Dang! That thing is building steam!
Yes sir!
Definitely ganna get these for mine wao

Awesome numbers car should be a strong runner with the right rear gear! 👍
Yes sir
Impressive i wish more cam technology would be made in the coyotes
Yes sir
What might have been the difference if it had stage 3 camms?
Makes sense to throw cams into it if you got it open to change the OP gears. I can only imagine ported cobra jet, VMP twin 69 throttle body, headers, intake, E85 tune on a 2018!! Im guessing 520whp
Ported manifold and e85 would definitely make it more of a beast 😏
pretty interested what i will make i have a pmas intake ported 2018 mustang gt mani, 47 pound injectors comp 2 cam and cat delete
Get a ported hi ram on it. I can’t find in the video was it stock manifold or 18+?
I have a 2015 GT, what is the ballpark price for this type of NA build?
How much hp you think you picked up just from the cams ?
I’am just surprise at what cams and longtube headers and a good tuner can do . Ken is the owner local or lived closed to your track, just curious to see what it would run on the 1/8 miles.👍💪😎👌
He lives about an hour away. I would love to see what it can do in the dragstrip myself.
MPH in the 1/4 will tell you if it’s truly making those numbers. Dyno’s very by brand, they are ultimately a tuning tool first. That being said, those are great numbers, now let’s see what she traps at in the 1/4 mile.
I was gonna say 450. First pull. N 494 382 from a second gen na is impressive.
All the sauce!! 😆
Yes sir lol.
What would stage 3 comp cams do
My 15 gt performance package with comp cams mutha thumpers and stainless power long tube headers scavenger x pipe and Flowmaster outlaw mufflers c&l racer cai made 452hp at 6000rpm and 440tq at 5000rpm over baseline was 379hp and 342tq picked up 72hp and 90lbs of torque
Add the Gen3 intake manifold into that mix, and you'll see even better runs! Great setup!
I might have to pay you guys a visit I'm not to happy with my current shop and tuner at the moment .

We can take care of you. All info is in the description of the video.
Thank you Caleb for the kind words. Glad you are enjoying the car!
So how much more on e85?
I guess I gotta step up my game 😏
We will get it there 😎
With cobra jet manifold car will be a beast
I agree

Speed Addict 731 take mine lol 😂
@@SpeedAddict731 I'm on that path currently. Looking forward to seeing how it goes.
2015 GT 50th anniversary here take mine ha
What's the mod list on this 17??
Mine with mutha thumpers made 452hp and 440tq at 6500rpm with same header combo
And that is to the wheel right? I believe stock gt makes like 395 to the wheel.
Sounded like it had -10 degrees timing
Dang, first Dyno pull that I have seen that goes over 20 seconds full throttle. I would have pulled the plug if that was my car.
It is a loaded dyno which simulates load you have on the road. Also it is tuning so it is going from 3,000 to redline. Thank you sir and many valid points.
How much do you think that picked up over stock? 100hp?
I’d say 100-120
Omg
What did it make before changing the cams?
It was stock when I got it aside from catback. So pretty much whatever they put down stock.
Where is your shop at i got A 2020 auto getting ready to up the power
We are located in Henderson, TN
My 1st guess is 520
Is that measured 494 wheel or crank? Thanks!
Wheel. Maybe 560-570 crank
I bet the 2018 intake manifold would've been better
Glad to see you don't do dyno queens...seems like most of these type of videos are all about the peak numbers..not reasonable drivable cars.
Thats it 😂😂
I'm going to say 500 First pull
I think you were the closest guess
Where are you guys located?
We are located in Henderson , TN in West TN.
550 rwhp
Wonder why he went stage 2 and not stage 3
Ask the customer?? hehe

Cams are a good adder, but for the price per hp it’s not worth it. These 5.0s already have good cams stock. Procharge it call it a day.
