I almost died laughing. Oroboro was obviously stressed from almost just dying when he got that far so then he got greedy and tried to end it fast but after he accidently kicked he tried to continue the attack and his greed was punished by the lightning. but yes... that hurt my soul too.
Thank you for editing it so we didn't watch you get him to a quarter health just to see you die. Instead just showing us how many deaths it took to get to the victory was awesome of you. You rock, Obobobo!
The best part about the end of Lapp's story is that he literally pushes you in the right direction, showing you the easily missable path you need to take in that area. He really was your friend in the end.
So I know this isn't the place to lore out on you guys, but I think the Paintings are key to the whole world cycle. The paintings start as a cold, dark place without any fire. Then fire comes, brings disparity. Eventually the fire runs out and the world becomes cold again. However before the fire fades, a new painting is made and within that world the cycle begins again. Each painter's interpretation changing the world just a little bit, like a game of telephone.
40:18 if you pause here, you can see that Gael's cloak is so lumpy because there are human faces pressed against it from the inside from all the souls he's consumed.
Watched your dark souls playthroughs since the beginning, they were what started me playing the series, but I have an RSI in my wrists now so couldn't play dark souls 3 or any of its DLC so it was great to watch. What a series, can't wait for Vaati to tell me what it all means! Thanks for doing it Oro, Goodbyeee!
Saginae Mcwigga Personally I found all the main game bosses of Dks2 very boring. I can't think of one that didn't feel like a chore. Well, Velstaht was pretty fun now that I AM thinking about it.
Watching Oro get his ass beat by a boss that took me two tries (Gael) is pretty nice, especially considering how much I look up to him and have gotten my ass beat by him before. Keep up the good work, man! I love all your videos.
Did he? ...He kicks you down the correct path among the broken bridges... and after you complete his questline he's summonable for the last bosses. He really wasn't lying when he said that he was your friend... but hey, he's still Patches.
I think the ending of the DLC is a future where the only things left alive are you and Gael. Since Gael had to exterminate all beings that had a piece of the Dark Soul in them in order to reform it, his actions in combination with the fading of the flame probably destroyed life on the planet entirely.
SinhFTW My interpretation is that the events of The Ringed City take place way in the future. The description of the Dragonslayer Armour's says that it was defeated by the player character a long time ago. However, perhaps due to the fire linking curse being a downward spiral than going around full circle, time itself has become non-linear, meaning the past, present, and future exist at the same time. I also think Gael is quite an amazing character seeing how he appearently planned everything for this moment. He knew we would follow him, that he was going to lose himself to the Dark Soul, and would lead to us killing him, all for the sake of the Painter.
Dark Humor Not completely over, there will probably be a spiritual successor to dark souls, and if they do make any other dark souls games, they will be remasters.
I've spent about 2k hours on the souls series, but boy am i glad that they're finaly letting the game die instead of running it into the ground even further. Dks3 will be played for years to come... so there's no need to be sad
Probably one of the most fun bosses in all of soulsborne series. It's one of the rare hard bosses where you don't get frustrated if you die since he is very hard but fair in terms of giving you chances to attack while also being very aggressive. When you die you know its your fault so. I didn't struggle to him as much, but still its one of the fights i'll gladly do in every playthrough i complete.
I wish you would have done this playthroughs for youtube a long time ago, i mean i love the pvp but seing this type of videos against the environment is just awesome, sad to see dark souls go... But at least we gon get some obobobos arsenal
Painted world of oroboro. Instead of crows and hollows, its R1 spammers with darkmoon blade and sunlight blade, the crows are replaced by giant dragon things like the orobouros is, and at the end of the painted world, a giant wooti who tells you to go jump off the edge and hurry home.
I thought you were the parry king Oro. why didn't you parry the dark sword guy? he was r1 spamming and he was getting greedy when you got to low health. you should've parried him Oro.
I know it's very likely way too late but I just wanted to point out that Gael seems to use his threatened like as if it was a straighteners or katana(I seem him slicing up and down Oro in the way that most katana work).
Best kick na
GfuckingG
40:11 haha the hardest fail i've ever seen in all DS
2:19
Now we know who's the voice actor of the mimics in dark souls :D "hohohoho"
Tiennos Migos looll
Hope you guys enjoyed this playthrough! Look forward to lots of PvP videos including Oro's Arsenal soon!
Oroboro A new oro's arsenal? MY PRAYERS AND DREAMS HAVE BEEN ANSWERED!!!!
Oroboro you should do a livestream on this. at least once. Love the vids btw
Chibi_RubyRose yes where the fuck is oro's arsenal oro
Oro's Arsenal💙
You know I stream on my twitch channel every day right?
40:10 hurt my soul :(
Yrusosalty you there...give it to me....you're dark soul...for my ladies painting.
I almost died laughing. Oroboro was obviously stressed from almost just dying when he got that far so then he got greedy and tried to end it fast but after he accidently kicked he tried to continue the attack and his greed was punished by the lightning. but yes... that hurt my soul too.
...fuck...
your dark soul? ;)
Damn, i had to watch it like 5 times :D :D :D Anyway the fucking unwanted kick killed me so many times :D
40:11 Best kick of the world. Thanks Oro for this moment
Thank you for editing it so we didn't watch you get him to a quarter health just to see you die. Instead just showing us how many deaths it took to get to the victory was awesome of you. You rock, Obobobo!

ZeRedSpy the paintings are parallels to the world outside, they have the same death rebirth cycle.
40:18 if you pause here, you can see that Gael's cloak is so lumpy because there are human faces pressed against it from the inside from all the souls he's consumed.

Miyazaki's thought process. "Dark souls is too easy huh? They play PvP for the challenge huh? We'll see about that...."
One dude killed Midir without rolling, sprinting, getting hit, or healing at SL1 NG+7
NinjaSoulz then he said "Ahh look at those casuals........Fuck the difficulty!!!!! Nerf the covenant!!!! Ganks shall rise AGAİN!!!!!!
Emre Kara Then unnerfed it :>
There should be a revive stone for every boss
Totally, Dark Souls 2 almost got it right.
123eldest now if only any of Dks2's bosses(aside from the dlc ones) were any fun to fight.
TheDustyMuffinsss Whaaaaa?
Saginae Mcwigga Personally I found all the main game bosses of Dks2 very boring. I can't think of one that didn't feel like a chore. Well, Velstaht was pretty fun now that I AM thinking about it.
Dusty Maybe if you didn't cheese, they would have been fun.
If you look closely you can actually pinpoint the exact moment Oro's heart breaks in two.
The Painting World of Oroboro: a world where forlorn R1 spammers will be able to live in harmony and peace XD
32:04 Hello, Orphan Knight Kos-torias.
40:10 is how controllers get broken
40:10
Well, there goes your reputation...
Your screech from getting those dual ultra greats was great! I felt the same way when I picked it up.
40:09 That epic kick... :D
"WHY DID I KICK?!" - Oroboro, 2017
"The Painted World of Oroboro"
The old monk realisation just makes me smile every time. This is a true Ashen one in all his glory
HOW CAN HE KICK? HOW CAN HE KICK?
Tornader HOW CAN SHE SLAP
you know someone is a quality youtuber when they record each and every death...
beats spear of the church at 20 minutes 40 minutes left in video Oroboro death montage incoming
9:33 that ringed knight was doin the collapse gesture xD
40:12 oh my god I almost cried for you
I just realized that Slave Knight Gael is how the bosses must see the player...
An undying monster wielding a weapon that shouldn't be and accursed magic who just refuses to die
ZotTheWise
God fucking damn I would've been so pissed if Gael got down to 20% hp and then popped two of his 15 estus.
@@maxenfelter 15 likes for your 15 estus
40:00 GREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED!!!!!!!!!!! (extra style points for kicking)
Painted world of Oroboro seems like a nice and comfy place for Falchions
Been waiting for this all day, thanks Oroboro!
Absolutely loved these Dlc videos!! 👍🏻 great job mate
Watching Oro get his ass beat by a boss that took me two tries (Gael) is pretty nice, especially considering how much I look up to him and have gotten my ass beat by him before. Keep up the good work, man! I love all your videos.
Star Walker if i have unterstandes correctly this is atleast ng+ not sure tought (not that it makes it so much harder, but ath anyways).
Great playthrough , Oro! Many laughs :)
That kick describes my whole ds experience
By far the best DLC since Artorias Of The Abyss 😺
ahahaha Oro going "oooooooooh" at 2 minutes made my day
Lapp the solaire of dark souls 3
but then patches had to fuck it up
Did he? ...He kicks you down the correct path among the broken bridges... and after you complete his questline he's summonable for the last bosses. He really wasn't lying when he said that he was your friend... but hey, he's still Patches.
kairowskiller 7 it's more like a farewell to a friend. He even leaves his armor for you.
The Painted World of Oroboro. Catchy!
I think the ending of the DLC is a future where the only things left alive are you and Gael. Since Gael had to exterminate all beings that had a piece of the Dark Soul in them in order to reform it, his actions in combination with the fading of the flame probably destroyed life on the planet entirely.
SinhFTW Too bad there's a ringed knight with duel greatswords to the left of the building, he gives you a slab if you kill him
SinhFTW My interpretation is that the events of The Ringed City take place way in the future. The description of the Dragonslayer Armour's says that it was defeated by the player character a long time ago. "Why did I kick?!"
Just wanted to break his guard, man.
Can't wait for the PvP videos
Oro with new swords. 'makes high squeak'
Me 'He's a kid in a candy store'
The culmination of the Dark Souls series. Gankers: The Boss
Great play Oro! GG.
a fine Dark Soul to you Oro
That kick of fate though.. Even the best of us can fuck up like that...
THAT KICK WAS GLORIOUS
The moment he says "just wait till I TRY to hit someone wit those" as if it will be really difficult xD the nostalgiaaaaaaaaa
I'm crying...this series has been a huge part of my life. Watching it end is unbearable.
Dark Humor I hate to see Dark Souls go too, but like what ParagonDS says, all good things must come to an end.
Dark Humor Not completely over, there will probably be a spiritual successor to dark souls, and if they do make any other dark souls games, they will be remasters.
+LeadFaun but it won't be as good as the ones with miyazaki on board ;-;
its ok, I'd much rather see a glorious return of dark souls after 5 years than see it done yearly like COD or battlefeild.
I've spent about 2k hours on the souls series, but boy am i glad that they're finaly letting the game die instead of running it into the ground even further. Dks3 will be played for years to come... so there's no need to be sad
Oh that kick, I feel for you man, I had Midir that close once and made a stupid mistake.
Mr. Tree Frog Eh more of a flaw in control design, not a mistake. It happens to me A TON
While I would love another series, it seems to me that this new world was born of blood...
bloodborne dun dun dun!!!!!
The second phase is SO GUTS,
40:10 THAT MAJESTIC KICK OMG
Thanks for the play trough
that death montage lol i love gaels fight!!! the music is epic
I like how Oroboro got a bid sad once he beat the last boss in the souls series.
Probably one of the most fun bosses in all of soulsborne series. It's one of the rare hard bosses where you don't get frustrated if you die since he is very hard but fair in terms of giving you chances to attack while also being very aggressive. The kick run. GG
CZcams: Oroboro's Journey Back to being Active Playthrough (Part 1)
THE DESTRUCTIVE KICK OF PERRY KING OROBORO IN ACTION!!!
P.s. Doesn't work on bosses
You can pick up Lapp's/Patches armor up at the location he kicked you from . . . in the event you haven't already gone back to pick it up by now.
was anyone else yelling EMBER USE A FUCKING EMBER!? lol I love you oro, oros arsenal soon or death kappa
25:10 "To eat our dark souls" Wait, has this series ever title-dropped like this before?
Messofanego nope i think thats the first time
no, pretty much a "dark soul" has existed since the first one
That kick comes straight out from the PPT guys at IGN.
Yo Brandon, you gotta upload some spear of the church invasions, by far one of the best additions in the dlc.
I wish you would have done this playthroughs for youtube a long time ago, i mean i love the pvp but seing this type of videos against the environment is just awesome, sad to see dark souls go... But at least we gon get some obobobos arsenal
If only they brought back Giant dad and as Oroboro entered the spear of the church someone spawned in with the set
He would of probably lost his shit.
Love you Oro~
Watching Oro getting his ass kicked is the highlight of this DLC.
The boss of the Painted World of Obobobo would probably be Elite Knight Armor that would headbutt you into deathly stunlock
#datkick
16:22
"A Dark Sword and a Black Knight Greataxe, this really is the final boss of Dark Souls."
I fxcking died.
the gael section could be it's own video
You missed Shira set , after you kill her you find the door open and you can get it XD.
“I wonder when uncle Gael intends his return?”
*_RIGHT IN THE FUCKING KOKORO_*
the kick holy
Holy sweet fucking jesus that Gael bgm
Painted world of oroboro. Instead of crows and hollows, its R1 spammers with darkmoon blade and sunlight blade, the crows are replaced by giant dragon things like the orobouros is, and at the end of the painted world, a giant wooti who tells you to go jump off the edge and hurry home.
"i could do anything after this boss!" walks past the ringed knights flames and backstabs
well right you can ! anything but fly :D
i for one love that the final boss of dark souls is Santa claus
It's not ash that makes up the Gael boss arena. It's black salt.

The painting called OBOBOBO. 10/10 would look at again
Pro u r the best CZcamsr ever love ur vids
You squealed at those Greatswords hahahahahahaha
I thought you were the parry king Oro. why didn't you parry the dark sword guy? he was r1 spamming and he was getting greedy when you got to low health. you should've parried him Oro.
Can't wait to see what new game they make.
P.S. Are you going to do a aggression mod with max NG play through again, as well with peeve?
Man that kick almost killed me. xD To bad it dosent do any damage, otherwise it would have been a pretty nice way to finish Dark Souls as a genre.
wait, is half of this video of obobobo dying? Feels good knowing i wasnt the only 1 to struggle this much on this boss
There is a build for the Spear of the church boss, its called Havel Monster, at least from what I've seen XD
The KICK heard 'round the world!
The chime heals allies too. 20 regen per second ganks incoming
that kick lol
Thanks!
Really awesome Player.
I know it's very likely way too late but I just wanted to point out that Gael seems to use his threatened like as if it was a straighteners or katana(I seem him slicing up and down Oro in the way that most katana work).
24:17 Wtf have I done this time?
I have to say I laughed my ass off LOL!!!
Pro as a Spear of the Church would be bloody undefeatable
