Lol you do realize Oro is dealing with people that have no experience against Twin UGS most of the time? When he does the dash, you can R1 Twice with any greatsword that has reach, heck, DragonSlayer Spear would one shot Oro if someone knows how to use its weapon art the moment Oro lands the dash and misses it. Twin UGS has a lot of flaws, it's not a new meta, it's one of the weakest in PVP. The community just doesn't know how to deal with it. It's good in Brawls or COOP matches, but 1v1? Lol you're in for a death treat. Twin UGS is awesome but it's balanced enough so that every other weapon shine as well.

yugioh guy It's unintended assistance to the invaders because the area is pretty grueling to get through, I can tell you right now, From wasn't thinking "Oh, let's make an area that gives invaders a huge advantage" No, they just made a tough dlc, which just happens to be pretty fun to invade in. Seriously, ganks get melted quickly if they charge after you (Like they literally always do)

I feel like the start-up running shouldn't have any poise. I'd like to have seen someone being smart with the Stomp or Perseverance WA, and trading into Oro's L1 start-up. The guy he fought with FUGS could have easily done that a few times and gotten massive damage on Oro, completely negating his poise. Sad that nobody uses the Great-hammers with Perseverance. That shit was straight broken for how long it lasted, along with the 60% damage reduction buff. Vordt procs Frost on just barely over two hits.

End of story. Now to the "scrub-ish" weapon. It's in the game for a reason, complain to the dev monkeys. If the opponent wants to spam a certain weapon art, don't complain to the player, complain to the people who don't add a cool down, or a limit on a certain weapon. it saddens me whenever i see a blue die because I never used to get summoned maybe i should play again but it takes so long to summon one in some fight the host is always on the brink of death
K M it's not as bad as it used to be I'm getting atleast 5 or 6 summons in a am hour and I'll have usually 2 maybe even 3 other blues with me in the same world
they are ganging up to kill someone though so it is by all means, ganking, maybe not dedicated ganking like what people used to do in pontiff with seeds 24/7 but it is ganking by defenition
How to counter this weapon: get a bigass hammer that has perseverance like Vordt's great hammer or the Great Mace, and when they try to do the L1 combo just use your weapon art and trade. You will win every single time.
Not worth trading damage imo. I would simply get a long range weapon, like a spear, and wait for the right time to attack between the swings. Just got a hatemail because of it rofl

BlinKy Yup your eyes dont decieve you. You can get aoe or target buffed by npc's as an invader if you're not seeded or a mad spirit. ie : the priests sacred oath from lothric castle, heals from the spear of the church guardian, etc

I don't get why people are so salty about the weapon. The moveset is so predictable you have to be pretty bad at the game anyway to have a lot of trouble with it. I've done a lot of PvP with and against this weapon and it never felt over powered on either side of the coin. The only complaint I would have is how many people use it, but at the same time it's such a cool weapon you shouldn't expect anything less.

Dual greatswords vs poise = instant lose for greatswords. I use the 1handed cleric starter mace and just walks right into the attack with WA active. Damaged taken is reduced, does not get stunned/staggered and kills them before they can finish their little spinny jump.
Not going to lie Oro, but you're basically the only connection I have to Dark Souls III at this point. I was so disappointed in it that I beat it once, did some PvP, got sick and tired of the paired katanas and bleed spam and stopped playing. I haven't even touched the dlc. Now the only interaction I have with the game is watching you fuck up gankers with edgy paired anime swords because it's more entertaining than playing.
DesertRanger 97 If I didn't enjoy the PvE because it was all recycled from the first game, of course I will turn to PvP for continued enjoyment. However, when that PvP is way worse than the previous game, then there's nothing keeping me there. I see no reason to repeatedly play the PvE.

It's unbalanced, most weapons are trash, and Fromsoft refuses to listen to it's player base on what needs to change. I've actually played more Scholar of the First Sin since Dark Souls III came out than Dks III itself.
Play Nioh. Shit story, great combat diversity with different stances and weapons that adhere to stances. Only thing I dislike about it in which I really adore in all of DS is that it lacks sprawling level design and inter-connectivity. Really the only reason to play a souls game half the time is that sweet sweet level design.
PlagueDr420 It's easy to roll away from, you just can't hit them because of the hyperarmor from the weapon. It's very easy to counter now though. Just use a weapon with Perseverance (Caestus, Mace, Black Knight Sword etc.) and spam R1 while they're doing the combo. Like you said, the AR was fine, so much so that it could be easily traded.

I never understood the complaint of this weapon. You can easily stun it before the weapon art comes out, and even if you do get hit just spam roll to get out before the combo. Honestly you have to be dirt awful or be very greedy to be comboed by this weapon. Oh wait... that's what most summons and hosts are.

spooky cat dude The first L1 regardless if you do a full side roll away, the hitbox can and will still connect, and that one problem allows them to combo into the full L1's, but other than that it has its counters, very fast weapons for very big weapons, now that Perseverance is getting jerked ill have to rely on Stomp to fuck up this weapon.
oh yeah i forgot to mention those phantom hitboxes, also as if anyone with a brain or even one without arent hammering the absolute shit out of their b button the second they get hit.

Oroboro really? all this time I thought that the host is just there but the people who equip the way of the blue or darkmoon gets automatically summoned to the host regardless of what covenant they are as long as there is a invader....I thought that's how it worked? lol I'm lost hahaaa xD

Dual greatswords vs poise = instant lose for greatswords. I use the 1handed cleric starter mace and just walks right into the attack with WA active. Damaged taken is reduced, does not get stunned/staggered and kills them before they can finish their little spinny jump.
Not going to lie Oro, but you're basically the only connection I have to Dark Souls III at this point. I was so disappointed in it that I beat it once, did some PvP, got sick and tired of the paired katanas and bleed spam and stopped playing. I haven't even touched the dlc. Now the only interaction I have with the game is watching you fuck up gankers with edgy paired anime swords because it's more entertaining than playing.

DesertRanger 97 If I didn't enjoy the PvE because it was all recycled from the first game, of course I will turn to PvP for continued enjoyment. However, when that PvP is way worse than the previous game, then there's nothing keeping me there. I see no reason to repeatedly play the PvE.
LeadFaun To each their own, I suppose. I personally can't stand it in Dark Souls III. It's unbalanced, most weapons are trash, and Fromsoft refuses to listen to it's player base on what needs to change.
I've actually played more Scholar of the First Sin since Dark Souls III came out than Dks III itself.
Play Nioh. Shit story, great combat diversity with different stances and weapons that adhere to stances. Only thing I dislike about it in which I really adore in all of DS is that it lacks sprawling level design and inter-connectivity. Really the only reason to play a souls game half the time is that sweet sweet level design.
Nioh is the better souls game. :)

It's easy to roll away from, you just can't hit them because of the hyperarmor from the weapon. It's very easy to counter now though. Just use a weapon with Perseverance (Caestus, Mace, Black Knight Sword etc.) and spam R1 while they're doing the combo. Like you said, the AR was fine, so much so that it could be easily traded.
Awesome counter to this weapon is the old kings great hammer weapon art. Just pop It when they charge and they are caught in fiery death.
tfw the best counter to this weapon is rolling towards them after the first L1, then getting a backstab.

I never understood the complaint of this weapon. You can easily stun it before the weapon art comes out, and even if you do get hit just spam roll to get out before the combo. Honestly you have to be dirt awful or be very greedy to be comboed by this weapon. Oh wait... that's what most summons and hosts are.

spooky cat dude The first L1 regardless if you do a full side roll away, the hitbox can and will still connect, and that one problem allows them to combo into the full L1's, but other than that it has its counters, very fast weapons for very big weapons, now that Perseverance is getting jerked ill have to rely on Stomp to fuck up this weapon.
oh yeah i forgot to mention those phantom hitboxes, also as if anyone with a brain or even one without arent hammering the absolute shit out of their b button the second they get hit.
