The other day I had 3 invaders ganking me after my summon died. And I killed them all because I used seed of giants. you just need to out flask them and lure them in to enemy mobs lol. also in a play through unless you use dried finger you wont get invaded many times. thats been my experience. And general skill level of invaders are low in my opinion. But this varies a lot from person to person of course.

To the curious, that wasn't a "lag-switch" at roughly 10:00 It was a latency(Lag) spike. At the time the Phantom was disconnecting from the host, a Blue Invaded. This resulted in increased latency from the Host do to the two Phantom interactions at the same time.

No honour in invasions, a lot of people seem to assume otherwise; lets face facts, the hosts haven't exactly volunteered to be invaded, so you can't exactly expect them to fight by your standards of honour, not that you could impose your own standard of honour on other people anyway. And the invader's there for their own benefit/enjoyment so basically all bets are off. Soapstone summoning is a different matter and there should be honour there, but invasions are a free for all and getting to watch the chaos in videos is much better than being part of it. Just want to clarify I love to watch the videos because I love watching PvP and there's nobody who does it quite like Oroboro, something great to watch whilst I'm having some food and can't be gaming myself.

+Obada Hider I have been playing with him since DS1. He is one of the best players around. His tactics are fine since if you noticed it's 1 v 2 or more on most invasions in addition to the fact that he's the one that originally makes a good chunk of the high damage builds you see in pvp.

I have not lost a 1v1 in pvp since ds1 because the community has gotten so large that the number of bad players makes it impossible to get a decent challange without organizing a meet with good players you already know.

Hey, if you play online, you risk getting invaded. If you're invading, you risk running into ganks. That's just part of the game. It's all good, mate. As long as no one's hacking, ya'll can destroy each other however you want. I've been summoned to duels plenty of times, only to get ganked, but for every one of those dickbags, there are dozens of other players who are there to fight you legit, so I have no complaints.

Lazule Me too, he taught me to PvP and now I have over a hundred victories for only a tenth of defeats :) But Oroboro being Obobobo, he was using one of his Oro's Arsenal build, the Gyrm Greathammer...And Damn that thing hurt when you are a lightweight caster build ^^

I know I might be a bit late to respond to this but ganking literally just means that there’s more people on their team than yours, this video was kinda early in the ds3 release so phantom range and lag was abundant you probably couldn’t tell the difference between something that should hit you and something that shouldn’t because it’s something that comes with a lot of experience and isn’t easy to see directly

+FreakBleach its not a lag switch, ds3 uses peer to peer so whenever someone disconnects or reconnects the host usually gets spiked ping, the lag was from the other summon disconnecting (dying)
You realize there aren't servers for any of the soulsborne games, right? Everything is player to player. You're connection is based on your internet. No lag is going to make someone stop taking damage and teleport across the room after doing almost all if your health in damage. That is lag switching.

Hey, if you play online, you risk getting invaded. If you're invading, you risk running into ganks. That's just part of the game. It's all good, mate. As long as no one's hacking, ya'll can destroy each other however you want.
I've been summoned to duels plenty of times, only to get ganked, but for every one of those dickbags, there are dozens of other players who are there to fight you legit, so I have no complaints.

I think I fought him only 4 times on DS2 at upper soul level 10+ M, the lag didn't let me enjoy it, I got fucked 2 times, got him once, and killed each other once at the same time...

For anyone who still isn't sure about the phantom at Irithyll, I'm fairly certain that is Anri of Astora. Explains the high defense and HP, as well as the sword art stance almost all the time.
So when people are in a group at the boss entrance...you invade and then suddenly they are 'ganking'? And when you get hit..its either lag or a 'phantom' hit?

I know I might be a bit late to respond to this but ganking literally just means that there’s more people on their team than yours, this video was kinda early in the ds3 release so phantom range and lag was abundant you probably couldn’t tell the difference between something that should hit you and something that shouldn’t because it’s something that comes with a lot of experience and isn’t easy to see directly

+FreakBleach its not a lag switch, ds3 uses peer to peer so whenever someone disconnects or reconnects the host usually gets spiked ping, the lag was from the other summon disconnecting (dying)
You realize there aren't servers for any of the soulsborne games, right? Everything is player to player. You're connection is based on your internet.
No lag is going to make someone stop taking damage and teleport across the room after doing almost all if your health in damage. That is lag switching.
@@TheAngelCommunity that's not what lag was man. He blatantly stopped taking damage, and took most of oros health. Lag would make his hitbox harder to hit and character glide around.
