Gwyn, Artorias, Manus, and Kalameet already fought Ornstein and Smough in their own videos. That's why I skipped them here. Gwyndolin will be in a separate video, and Priscilla won't be in any AI battles - I'll upload a video that explains why.
Would be cool to see O&S battle all bosses in their areas. Wonder how would they manage when for example Nito spawns skeletons all time, or 4kings spawning and such :)

The reason he did this good is because he wasn't scripted to lose balance when damaged here (because I don't know how to script that).

One: it would make his boss fight less interesting.
Two: with 2 versions of the game, it would create a massive discrepancy. The original DS1 has reached a sort of status such that it won't be updated again by FromSoftware under any condition.
Three: FromSoftware has never changed entire boss fights just for preference. They may rebalance stats, at most, but never outright change a boss's mechanics.
Four: FromSoftware hasn't updated any of the Dark Souls games in years, excluding patches for serious bugs or glitches.

this shows why Ornstein and Smough set the last line of defense of anor londo itself. The fact that they are two is not a difficulty, but the fact that they work as a team.

I saw a video that says the main character in soulsborne games tend to be around 5'1" I think? It's to take up less screen space so you can better see what's going on.

@Miguel yeah no. Anor Londo is designed after Milan's cathedral, and the only reason the characters talk English is that English is the universal language, and not all games are always dubbed in every language. In fact in Japan it's dubbed in Japanese, not in english. It's fairly common tbh.
Also, Anor Londo doesn't come from London, it's Sindarin, one of the languages spoke by the elves in The Lord of the Rings.
@@jim-wr3lp idk about ds2 and 3, but ds1 does have the Japanese dub. Anyway he said something like Lordran and Anor Londo are based on old England and that's why all the characters speak English. He also said that Londo comes from London, which is totally wrong.
@@simonepriolo Wait you're serious? I'm a Silmarillion fan and I, had no idea that Anor Londo is in Sindarin. It feels like recently I keep finding references to it in unexpected places (Sindarin is not restricted to The Silmarillion obvs, but Silmarillion is much more of a "compendium" of sorts so it feels like Tolkien's constructed languages are closer to it and to his non-Hobbit/LotR works). I do have a question. "Anor" means "sun" in Sindarin, but I can't find a meaning for "Londo". Could it just be "lord"? Or is it the "lond - haven, harbour, pass, strait"?

To be fair, I imagine any arena with hazards would be difficult. I don't think either Snorlax or Pikachu are programmed to not leap off cliffs, for example.

The fight with Nito is also summoned skeletons and then we are dealing with a completely different fight.
yeah , but the battle wouldn't be as enjoyable , like if they fight bed of chaos in the arena with the holes and the branch that constantly pushes you off
This somehow simultaneously makes the world of Dark Souls more terrifying but also makes you the players feel more bad ass at the same time. The world of Dark Souls is full of monsters but despite all odds you succeed where the monsters failed.

I really would want to do that, to show people that Pinwheel isn't as weak as they think, but unfortunately Asylum Demon only works in Asylum, and Pinwheel's clones and teleportation only work in his arena.

I thought of something when seeing Seath fight them. Why hasn't Priscilla made an appearance? Then I thought to myself... "Maybe she won't work, since she isn't hostile the moment you encounter her, so she isn't considered a valid target, or something." The bosses would probably just stand there, and nothing would happen.

Bit disappointed in Ornstein for the Seath performance, but then again Seath would probably have enough lucidity left to know that someone whose moniker is "Dragon Slayer" should be taken care of before Mr. Creosote.
Also I wonder if any AI in the game is advanced enough to be able to win the Bed of Chaos fight. Doubt it, but maybe?
I'd say no, mainly because in ds3 even the late game bosses struggle with deacons of the deep(because they aren't programmed to target the glowing deacon)
@@tylervanpeursem7627 The only DS3 boss that didn’t struggle was Yhorm, and that was only because his weapon was long enough to hit the Archdeacon inside of Aldrich’s tomb

Iron golem fight was amazing the balance thing kinda makes it fair since its a mechanic meant to be exploited by the player, two bosses would make him go into this state more often and win easily, the bug of chaos fight was hilarious i wonder how many of them would kill O&S but if too many used the pyromancy at the same time then your pc would melt instead lol what about ceaseless discharge? can it be moved from it's arena? although i am not sure if there's too many places to spawn him due to his size and because *tentacles* .
for moonlight butterfly i just remember there were some butterflies on seath level, i wonder if those dont cause the lag issue you've mentioned before
Ceaseless Discharge can be moved, but he can't attack enemies at ground level. Moonlight Butterflies in Crystal Caves are the same as the boss, just with different stats and AI.

I think their AI just attacks were the other model begins and since Seaths head leans over them they might think it´s right in front of them, not being able to tell the height difference

With Stray Demon against Smough, they seem awfully similar. In my opinion, Stray is just a slower phase 2 Smough with a slight bit of magic thrown in.
Now we just need tarkus vs the entire soulsborne games. We all know who'd win. Soldier of godrick.
So, I'm curious, why does Asylum Demon only work in the Asylum, yet all other bosses could be spawned in O&S's boss arena?
I don't know, something about his AI is weird. He just doesn't move if placed in any other map.

Seath's claw attacks seemed to not be aimed properly the entire fight, but theirs did to, so it's as fair as it gets for fights where one party is completely immune to the other party's main offensive ability. It's weird that the Stray Demon and Demon Firesage always use their weak magic attack instead of their much stronger and more varied melee attacks. Not really fair to put Centipede Demon against them away from its arena. Four Kings could probably beat Ornstein and Smough, if there were actually four instead of one.
I've always found it really weird that Seath and Nito are so much weaker in boss vs boss fights, especially Nito, since the bosses aren't straight up immune to his primary method of killing.

Some Bosses only work in their own arenas, so it's not possible to have all of them in one place.
