    0:00 Intro
0:05 Rear differential on a Nissan Rogue. The technician said it was a 2015 or 2017 (does not remember) and only had 60000 miles/96560 kilometers on it.
0:26 Dodge Charger needed the battery replaced (in the trunk). The technician said the whole vehicle was a mess and he still worked on it.
0:35 Outer brake pad missing and the caliper is rubbing against the brake rotors. Will need a new brake caliper, rotors, and pads now. The axle nut and other nuts were removed by the technician as he was working on removing the transmission.
    0:47 No other info.
1:04 Technician said this was on a Mercedes-Benz (forget the model).
As you can see the head of the bolts used to mount the wheel spacers stick out, so the customer drilled holes in their wheels to try and make it work. However, the technician said it handed terrible and was not safe to drive.
1:14 The mechanic said both front tires were bald, and the rears were needing to be replaced as well.
1:37 The mechanic said the customer wanted to access the fuel pump to replace it so this cut it open. Now it needs a new fuel pump and fuel tank.
1:38 Check engine light was on for MAF (mass air flow sensor), after the custom "cold air intake" was installed.
1:44 Malfunctioning purge valve for the EVAP system. A common problem to see on different ford models that don't have a gas cap.
1:51 2004 Mitsubishi Lancer. As mentioned the engine is interference, so when the timing belt broke the valves hit the pistons. If the engine was non-interference it wouldn't have caused damage. Engines are either interference and are non-interference.
2:02 Damage to hood and radiator.
2:11 As you can see there's no tailpipe on this vehicle. So the exhaust has nowhere to exit.
2:20 Brand new Dodge charger, customer lost the wheel lock key and tried removing the locking lug nuts himself. Needed a new wheel and wheel studs.
2:26 Vehicle needs a new wheel bearing.
2:33 The mechanic didn't mention what caused this to happen.
2:43 "Her door latch was broken. The door panel on the inside was removed. The door came open when she went around the corner and she wasn't wearing her seatbelt. Definitely an argument for fixing those broken door latches/locks!"
    2:58 Outro. Thanks for watching!

That last clip, happened to me when I was a kid. Memorial day, I get off work at midnight, was on my way home and I made a right turn when my dome light came on. I look over and my door was swinging open. So I grab the door, and because of the turn, it continued to swing open. Because my car was a 1987 Pontiac Firebird, it only had 2 doors, which were longer than average in order to be able to access the back seat. Longer than average doors = heavier than average doors. Had I of let go of the door, I would of stayed in the car, but I held on to the door, and not wearing a seatbelt, I was left laying in the middle of the street and my car continued without me. It went up to a house, and because it was uphill, it stopped without doing any damage. Last time I drove without a seatbelt, even just moving in a parking lot at 2 MPH, for me, a seatbelt is now just instinct, don't have to think about it.

I had an old mail jeep with sliding doors. I always wore my seat belt while driving with the door open. It had an automatic transmission with the shifter between the seats. I was tooling down a gravel road and I had a really cool K-Bar knife on the floor. It started bouncing towards the open door so I grabbed it and tossed it to the passenger side. Hit the shifter and knocked it into reversed. It locked up and rolled several times. I've used my seat belt ever since....

A guy in a VW turned left, the drivers door shot open, he was hanging out of the car and clinging onto the steering wheel one handed with his arse dragging on the road, the car mounted the kerb, he fell out and the now unmanned motor went straight through the sixteen foot tall plate glass window of a department store, through the window display, through the plyboard back of the window display, before burying itself into the perfume counter. Although I cannot really speak for *every* car of my type, I have one of "those" cars that is constantly referred to by the common masses as "Suicide Doors." The latches of this car, which has been through enough use and abuse to put two dozen "regular" cars into junkyards, has *never once* popped a latch on its own...nor had my grandmother's car, which was of the same type. I had seen TV shows that lampooned the configuration back in the day, sure...which required carefully-staged stunting to do. I also thought I had once seen something by someone who had one and complained about that happening, but I can't be sure when or even if I saw that. The latches on '60s Lincolns are pretty much "Suicide-Proof" from my own experience and observations...at least, the ones built from 1966-onward. Still, I use my seat belt every time, not only just in case, but also because I don't feel like "donating" $200 or more to the Annual Policeman's Ball.

@@PURENT That is the fault of the public-private partnership model. Farming out the inspections to private garages that have an interest in selling you stuff or passing a junker for a little cash on the side is a conflict of interest. If the actual inspection stations were run as State functions, have fixed checklists, and have no further monetary benefit other than the inspection fees, then it would work. A private garage can get a car READY for an inspection but, they should not be the issuing entity for inspection stickers.
Long long ago, in Florida, it was that way as I remember. I remember riding with my Mom or Dad to get the car inspected. The inspection stations just checked the car for safety and gave you a list of things to get fixed if needed. They would add air to the tires and adjust your headlights on the spot if needed.

how can you forget to put on brake pads and then drive with the grinding noise like: "this is fine, all things as supposed go be!"

I did 4 front pads recently, going down the drive hear grinding noise. Go to the first wheel I did and see that the first pad I put on backward, inside out. Turned pad around and been fine ever since. One of those duh moments.

Just incredible. I've had a superfluous screw or nut left on the workbench or floor when I'm done with a job on my cars, and said "meh, that was unimportant anyway". But seeing a whole brake pad left over after a brake job? Who wouldn't go "this should probably be mounted somewhere"?

LOL 😂, I was operating a trackhoe on the side of the Florida Turnpike in Orlando and a car was smoking and drove right behind me in the dirt and I spun around and watched the lady just fall out of her car and let the car keep rolling. A minute later it was on fire. Women freak out over nothing.

The last clip reminds of a funny story with my 1970 Dodge Dart. I picked up a hitchhiker who was going to work, and while I was driving, my coffee cup fell over and hot coffee spilled on him out of the weep hole on the lid. ( Remember, no cupholders back then) . The next day, I pick him up and he almost falls out of the car cause the latch on that side didn't always work. Day three, he just waved me on. I guess he would rather be late!

How that happens is if you have a scope on a rifle and rest the rifle on the hood to take a shot, it can look fine through the scope but the bullet path is actually through the hood because the scope's line of sight is a couple inches above the barrel.
