Koriginal ST, a big thank you from Tampa FL. Great vid; I changed out all my interior lighting after watching your vid. I used your links for the Diode Dynamics Cool White 6000k (HP3 56 lumens) for the 2 hatch lights and both dome lights and the Diode Dynamics Red (HP3 56 lumens) for the 2 footwell lights. Top quality LCD's. Looks awesome in my 2013 race red ST, and I'm glad I went with the HP3 56 lumens--much brighter and cleaner than the stock incandescents, but not overly bright. One thing I did differently - before trying to pull down on the dome light lens, I first inserted a small flathead screwdriver in the small tab opening at the back of the dome light. It pushes in a spring-loaded clip, so that it's much easier to pull the lens down without pulling the frame out of the headliner along with the lens. Appreciate all your helpful videos.

There are different bulbs you can get for this. The size for the interior lights are T10. I recommend going for the CANBUS style instead of the ones he used. These use an actual computer chipset and will last way longer and are way brighter too. I have them in both of my dome lights and it's crazy. Went with the same style he uses footwell and glove box but with one less LED square so not as bright. The reverse lights are also T10 but much bigger. Originally I got some with the same cheap plastic/paper clip wire plug but found them too blue and not so bright. I upgraded to the CANBUS kind and now it lights up really bright even beside the car in an almost 180 degree arc! The vanity mirror lights are festoon style 29mm x 5mm. Not extremely satisfied with those though, the LEDs are only on one side so the light doesn't fully fill the diffuser. And the are so bright you'll be blinded trying to look in the mirror! I have mine angled about 30 degrees away from the mirror. The blueish hue on the lights also makes your skin tone look weird. I may just put the incandescent back in.
My st already has these lights, red in the footwells and white everywhere else except the doors, is mine special lol
I'm surprised you didn't use any interior pry tools to quickly pop the covers off the footwell and dome lights.
Great video. I bought a 17 ST and found that using a small flathead screwdriver helps a lot when hoping up the above head lights.
The st3 does come with lights.. but mine are so dim.

The red lights look great, I thought the Focus was like the Fiesta with Multi interior lights, I always run mine on red or blue, it has like 5 different colors. I'm going to do all my lights in LED, headlights & tail lights.

Cool, my next mod is the front air splitter, I noticed that your has a red pin line on it, did you put that on yourself, my car is Silver and that red pin line would look cool. I've seen the splitter from different companies from $259.00 to $ 400.00 witch brand did you buy.

Koriginal ST thanks I'll check them out, you know what I like most about my ST is that there not common, I had a tricked out Sonata, but every time I turned around I saw one, I've only seen like 10 Fiestas in 2 1/2 years, and that people ask me about it all the time, it's nice being different. Thanks for the video! I have a 2017 ST2 and the footwell lights are not the same. They are a green board and are built into the clear cover and the whole thing connects to the plug. Did you have to change anything to be able to fit 194 bulbs in the footwell?

@@errinday7295 I found them on a website from the UK. It was expensive to ship to NYC but they look good. Not as bright as the one in the video, but definitely brighter than the stock light blue ones… They are called Autobeam.

Right that's it I'm going to get the ST not RS, as like most of you say you can tune a ST to go as faster for less than £3000 and that includes brake upgrade! i'v had the Audi RS3, BMW M135i. Coupe and saloon, but after watching this then went for a test drive everyone said, and Wow. it took my back to my younger hot hatch days and I didn't relise how much I had missed it. I can also tune it up and spend all the money I saved from going back to German sports. I'm still smiling away like a twat right now in bed. I saw the new Alloy wheel choise for this year. They are the same as all the new top end cars, that dark alloy with staggered machined face wheels. just need to decide what colour, but I'm thinking of wraping it in a sponcerd track look again. I like the look of last years privet BTCC focus ST based with pirtek racing. Andy Jordans car look even more amazing this year with same blue and red pirtek but a lighter blue at the front some small but nice changes, but the bright yellow racing Dunlope shod wheels look even better. some clever folk subscribed to this page. might come back for some advise. thanks guys

not to forget i have factory red footwell lights and its in the doorhandle too, what sucks is i have Base model lights because thats how its specced in my country.. weird i know

+TORQUE & TECH wow that's crazy you noticed! That first shot is the only shot in the whole video I used my new lens! It's a 35mm f1.8. Good eye dude! I can zoom in or out with it that's why I only used it for the intro lol!
Koriginal ST That sounds like a badass lens dude! Prime lenses are the way to go. Can't zoom but they look hella crisp. Ever since film school I notice all kinds of stuff. It's a blessing and a curse haha.

What size lightbulb did you get for the footwell?
I just bought a 2018 ST2 my interior and license plate lights are leds. Is this new for 2018? Not sure but I was impressed when I started it up for the first time at night 😍
how many lights in your car's trunk? both side or only one side? I got focus SEL 2018, only left side, and dealer say it is normal. im confused

So I'm on the website for the footwell lights and they have options for 56 lumens or 92 lumens on the bulbs. Is the difference how bright they are? Are the 56 lumen ones you got bright enough?
+Oath yes that is the brightness level. And if you wanted brighter I would get the 92. Mire bright can't hurt ha

U can use 194 leds for the foot well they sell them at oreillys for 16$ for 2
