You should rotate the switch and the gauge so they both lay horizontally, it would make it easier to read and look a little cleaner

Is their a gauge to monitor what bolts the subwoofer produces. Like using a multimeter to check volts while setting gain. I don’t want to exceed 40volts but switching from one song to another I could possibly. But with a gauge I could visualize the difference from one song to another.

Can you connect the two wires from the voltmeter to the two correct terminals on the battery and then install a separate switch to turn the meter on/off?

Kalvins Garage yes you can. if you find a constant 12v power then yes you can run it to the switch. then the power from voltage meter goes to the accessory on the meter. ground the voltage meter out and ground the switch of you want. that's how i have mine. i got 2 volt meters. one's for my battery up front and ones for my rear. i listen to music without my truck running a lot on lunch and break so i keep an eye on it to know I'm not killing the battery

Herbert Zischkau he probably could and mount the switch so it's left and right instead of up and down. just would need another peice of abs plastic to hold the switch in place

Pretty kool little gauge but I don't know if I could deal with looking at it sideways lol. That would just kinda irritate me and I would end up fixing it.
Sadly the gauges have to sit as they are!
If you connect voltmeter to cigarette lighter you wont get real voltage of battery because it is regulated voltage not directly from battery and it isnt same as battery

You install a $9 volt meter from amazon without first testing to see how accurate it is with a multimeter.
