  • When I originally bought my Kubota MX5400 I didn't think I would need a rear-remote in the near future, so I decided to wait and have them installed along with a 3rd function when I purchased a grapple. Fast forward to now and I need one today for a planter. I called the dealer and they told me that they only receive a few a month and that they are using them to deliver new tractors. So I did a little research and came up with a kit that was in stock at Tractor Innovations. They (I recommend them!) delivered my rear-remote quickly and I was up and running with a rear-remote...this video details my process getting one installed.
    Thanks for watching!

You bet! Thanks for the great product, it was a lot easier to install than what I thought it was going to be.

I have a Kubota L3301 and installed a 3rd function myself with a kit from Summit Hydraulics. I have never worked on hydraulics before so I thought I would give it a try. I was able to install the 3rd function kit in about 3 hours it was actually quite easy with the instructions they provided and the kit did not break the bank either. Hope this helps in some way. Good luck with everything.

I have Mx 6000 and I think it has a pressure beyond port for rear hydraulics. I ordered factory installed on rear and third function.
Hydraulic top link is great when hooking rear implement’s with quick hitch and uneven ground. Used it more than anticipated.
    Thanks for sharing.

Nice add on, good job on thinking outside the box to accomplish it. No.... I dont have any extra hydro functions on my tractor. Still young enough (53) that i can manually adjust the top link and side link for my landplane grading the drive way. As time wears on a hydro top and side link will be nice. As always thanks for the vid and your time.

Thanks Jules! I sure hope the supply issues resolve themselves before we all get too old ;-)

Well Mr.Nyberg looks like a "good build" by you. Have a MX5200 TLB ( same tractor in shuttle shift) & l have already "supped-up" the hydraulic Volume ( off the loader valve) to the "wet-lines" to the backhoe = a 40% improvement in speed( almost top secret), plus moved the valve forward ; = for Exiting the RIGHT Side of tractor. Have a "simpler" idea for "rigging" a rear remote or Two, WITHOUT All that "Spagetti- ITIS". With ALL those-hose's going Everywhere & "Tangle-lating" the right side for "ease of access "; this should almost be against the Law ! Thank you Sir for the Excelent vidio and happy safe tractoring. Best wishes with all your endeavours.

If you go with a third function. go with Land pride

I see that not a true rear remote it's a splitter
