We have a Kubota L6060 on the lot that has an insane amount of SCV's and remotes. We'll walk you through the advantages, the awesome quick connect that came with it, and show you just why it's so tempting to upgrade to all of these remotes. Be sure to watch through to the end so you can see the unique skid-steer bucket remote! This Kubota really has about all the bells and whistles a compact tractor can have.
Many of the options featured on this Kubota have been specified courtesy of tator05 in the Comments section. See below. Thanks again for your help tator!!!
This is easily the most optioned open station Grand L6060 I've ever seen! Its like they picked every option out of the price book and said send it! I've been around Kubota for a long time but the way this thing was configured truly makes it a unicorn. I'll list the options here so people get an idea of just what GWT has and is offering for sale : L8398 Base Kit and 1st Lever for ROPS models, L8393 2nd Position Stacking Kit and 2nd Lever, L8394 3rd Position Stacking Kit and 3rd Lever, 2X L8308/L8309 Valves for both remotes, L8388A Top-N-Tilt Kit, L2296 72" HD bucket with TL1748 BOE, L2272 3rd Function Control Valve & Hydraulic 2-Lever Quick Coupler, L2262 Single Lever Hose Quick Coupler for Loader, 3rd Function
Control Valve, and Hydraulic 2-Lever Quick Coupler ( 8 Hoses). This is just the hydraulics and bucket, I'm sure I'm forgetting something else but this helps someone I hope.

Finally... Someone else "gets it"!! Every time I've ever talked to a dealer about having 5, count 'em, rear SCVS, AND a true independent 3rd function on the FEL (not a diverter on the bucket circuit!), they look at me like a deer caught in the headlights! Every time! Why 5 SCVs on the rear? Two for the T&T (ideally coming from a dual diverter off of the FEL's boom/bucket circuits). And three more for a rear blade with hydraulic angle, offset, and gauge wheel (worst case requirements). Like I said, some one else out there "gets it"! And, that hydraulic SSQA setup is absolutely amazing!
Haha, yeah you can quickly run out of remotes with the "right" setup!
I'm looking @ a Kubota compact (1st time owner) & besides the FEL & BH there are options for 3 add'l SCV's (1 front and 2 rear). Honeslty until watching this vid wasn't even sure what I'd ever use the 2 extra on the rear for but one piece of advice I saw early on in my research was to order a tractor w/every avail. factory hydraulic option and that made a lot of sense to me so that's what I plan on doing but I'm sure the dealer will think I'm nuts! Now that I see what the 2 rears could be used for it really makes sense! Interestingly on an equivalent JD there's only the option for the front 3rd function.
I agree with you, I think at least 2 rear scvs should be standard.
I have a Yanmar YT235 that has all of those functions as well, the only exceptions are that I do not have the hydraulic attachment function because I listened to a friend when I was purchasing it, as I was going to be sharing equipment with him, he didn't think it would work with his equipment. He was wrong, I found out later. I am a retired newbie with a tractor and didn't know any better at the time I was ordering it. I do like the Faster disconnects though, I didn't know anything like that existed. Your videos are exceptional, I really enjoy watching and learning about all things "Tractor". I will be using my grapple for the first time this weekend to get rid of some storm damage brush, and, will be using what I learned from you, and several other channels to make the best use of my tractor. Keep up the "GOOD WORK", pun is intended. LOL.
Well, that diverted my attention for a good 20 minutes! Couldn't resist.
🤣👍 Love it
The hydraulic actuated SSQA levers are awesome!
Had an L6060. LOVED IT!!!
The 8 hoses connector and the two hoses connector and the hydraulic skid steer are all OEM options for the Grand L Kubota. Nice to see all of them on one tractor! :-) Great video! Thanks!
A very nice setup. There are so many things that can be done hydraulicly if you have the right flow and control valves. I added a two spool valve to my BX 25 and am thinking of adding another one. Thanks for thr video.
Awesome machine! Thanks for giving a detailed explanation!
You bet, thanks for watching!
Thx. for the great explanation & showing off of some unique features. I was going to order my tractor w/3 add'l factory SCV's (1 front & 2 rear) besides the FEL & BH simply because I could and an early piece of advice I saw (either from you or Tim probably) was to order every available factory hydraulic option and that made a lot of sense to me but until seeing your explanation here I honestly had no idea what I'd need or use the 2 add'l rear SCV's for, lol.
Good evening. Previous owner methodically went about spec'n this one. HD bucket.
Thinking like a older owner ie not as strong as I use to be thought process hence hyd top link & tilt link. Well done.
I'm a newbie to tractors. I bought a used L6060 this summer and I knew it was rare, but it had the remotes for the releasing and engaging the bucket or forks attachments too. I didn't know it was that rare. I like the top link and the side link at the rear, that would be nice to get.
Wow, that is one slick setup!
Awesome Tractor 👍
That is absolutely amazing! My best guess, somebody financially secure, retired & dealing with severe arthritis. I'm reaching the point with my arthritis that the simple act of getting on or off of my 30 series hurts, as does connecting or disconnecting attachments. This would be a dream machine for me! Thanks for sharing, Courtney!
That's what I was thinking or he just wanted to deck out a machine. Pretty sweet either way!
Cool, thanks for sharing
Great vid Courtney! My Grand L4060 is having no trouble with the HSA 1800 pusher I bought from you. As always, exceptional sales and service.
Glad to hear it, Merry Christmas Jeff!
I'm not a huge Kubota fan, but I agree , very cool machine. Might be lots more to repair or maintain a few years down the line.
Good video thank you
They videos are looking great. The addition of a camera man with moving shots really changed the dynamic of the video. Great work! I wonder how many years until an automatic quick attach like that will become the new standard on FELs.
Thanks! Definitely has freed up a lot of my time!
One thing you didn't mentioned (or didn't know) about the seat, it rotates left and right making it easier to work when you have to watch what's happening on the back of the tractor. Nice feature.
O like the Xtra functions...I like em alot!
Nice setup!! Top and tilt kit is a must have once you get it you never go back , have these same setups on my Deere 4720, my loader control diverts to run TandT cylinders in back and my 3rd scv runs my loader grapple, that hydraulic bucket disconnect is sweet!
Haha, I hear ya! If this one had a cab on it, I would be very, very tempted to keep it for myself.
@@GoodWorksTractors no doubt, I don’t have cab just a canopy
Man I love that set up. I’m still trying to find a good rear set up to put on my 3025e to run a hydraulic top link. I know that’s funny for a 3025e. But it’s all the tractor I need I just don’t like fiddling with the top link every time I hook something different to my imatch. 😊
Very nice!
For sure, thanks for watching!
If that was on a 3038r with a factory cab it would be the most amazing yard machine ever.
That’s great the way it is though.🚜
What's nice is manyof those hydraulic options are options from the factory/dealer on the Grand L's (including the hydraulic SSQA connection, and I believe both quick couplers). Would love to see how the the 4 rear remotes are plumbed as the options from Kubota stop at 3 rear remotes so the 4 rear remotes is aftermarket work.
Looks like that specific machine also has the 3pt draft control, but maybe not the cat 1/2 3pt??? (unless it uses bushings on the lower links to reduce to a cat 1 from a cat 2?? hard to tell from the pictures). Either way a very nice machine - have had one of it's smallest siblings (with almost as many SCVs) myself for a few years now and can't see selling it even if/when I get larger machine(s).
Not everyone will need all the SCVs, but when they're needed they're needed...... and adding them on after the fact isn't always as cheap as getting them upfront.
The hydraulic attachment of the bucket is great because when dirt and bark gets in there it will still work. Never been a fan of the skid steer manual attachment method, John Deere’s system seems to work better when it gets dirty. This tractor was probably owned by some old guy who was done doing everything by hand.
Another Great video Courtney. You always have excellent product content. However you can't sell me on that treadle pedal... even with your "fancy footwork" !!! LOL
Haha, I will have to try harder next time!
I think the coolest thing is the loader control on the fender so you can from the right side. Mine is left entry only.
The grin on your face throughout this video says it all lol.
Haha, hard not to smile around this one!
The front loader hydraulic is cool
Yeah it is!
Where can you get the front quick attach lever closer. I'm in and out all the time and it's hard on my back and hips. Awesome video
Those hoses would last about an hr with me in the woods on my tractors lol I wish I was cautious enough to have nicer things🤣
At least a guard protects the hoses as they are routed below the operator platform.
I've seen someone working on their own mod to do that SSQC hydraulic line, but that imho is way better and safer. Super cool find!
Thats a well equipped machine. That one could flip a guy from Green to Orange...Could be a keeper for your collection..LOL!
Ha, makes it hard to choose!
@@GoodWorksTractors True dat!
I like those functions that tractor is awesome be nice if it was green ha ha
I had a Kubota B20 (1991 model) that I added a top & tilt kit plus a third valve for a Gannon box scraper with hydraulic controlled scarifier teeth and then added a third function on the front for a hydraulic auger. It worked well so when I upgraded to
a new Kubota B26 and did the same mods and added a skid steer quick attach 4 n 1 bucket plus quick attach backhoe buckets and a hydraulic thumb. Not quite a unicorn but.....
Haha, very cool. Sounds like a heck of a setup!
I made a powered quick attach on my Kioti DK5310SE cab, and it is one of the best things i ever did.
Hey greg I have that same tractor any chance you got a video of it?
@@ryancathey7029 I put a video of it on the Kioti tractors group on facebook a while ago.
@@greggoodrich9636 Thanks Greg
I think they missed an opportunity...I just ordered that exact model and you can actually get 3 remotes to the back...what were they thinking to miss that? Great video!
Those Faster 1 point connectors are pretty much standard on all the major combine brands we use them for the Combine Header Connections. But i will warn you they are not a cheap piece to buy but they do work great for connecting under pressure. I do know the Agco Fendts are offering some different options for hydraulic connections now. Since i think in Europe they have flat face skid steer types or those single point as options..
Sweet, learned something new! Yeah, they don't look cheap, but it functions very well. Smooth and robust. I like that system a lot.
Wow! If i was a used tractor dealer I'd have a rough time selling that one!
Too bad the manufacturer cant set all that up without it looking like such an afterthought.
#1 from a JD 1025 R Owner🚜
🏆🎉🎇🙌👏💥🚜👨🌾
I am 99% sure that the previous owner was somehow related to the hydraulic fiting/lines industry
Haha, perhaps the owner of Faster Couplers 😂
Or related to me LOL !
Pretty awesome, is that kit for ssqa and if so where can I get one
All of those quick connections are standard Kubota options. However, you finally found a throttle petal that forward is on the far right and reverse is to the left. Back a little but still to the left
Who makes the Hydraulic SSQA on the FEL? That’s something I’d definitely consider on a Yanmar YT359C that I’m looking at purchasing in the near future.
My Kubota MX5200 also has a self leveling loader. I’m not sure how it works. The dealer mentioned this but I did not appreciate it till we started doing loader work and found the bucket stays level as the boom rises and lowers.
Wow
Not sure if you are aware of the bobcat bob dock system for skid loaders. Not only allows the ssqa to work from the cab, but automatically connects the hydraulic lines as well so there are not even hoses to plug in on a grapple or other attachment. Might be worth checking out for your skid loader.
I haven't, sounds awesome. Gotta check it out!
Surprised the guy that built that machine up didn't put a custom Scorpion or Sure Grip control grip on it. They are SO much nicer than all those generic China handles and switches.
Never heard of those, but now I gotta look 'em up! Thanks!
Do you know any part numbers for the ssqa cylinder and the handles? I want to adapt that to my b2601
Take my money 💰! Oh wait I just remembered I can't afford that 😅.
I called the dealer I bought my Kubota from and when I asked about the power lock/unlock feature for the quick connect they acted like I was crazy.
Does the hydraulic lock have any manufacture information on it?

@@GoodWorksTractors You don't even want me to include what the MSRP of the kits are and I wouldn't even have an idea on the amount of labor $ & time that took the original dealers shop to assemble all that and was included in the original selling price! Basically right now, if a guy wanted this new vs your very lightly used unit he would be in for sticker stock for sure and a long lead time to procure all these items and kits. No dealer would have all this on hand at any one time and the wait and lead times for stuff has only been getting worse and worse with Kubota having record years back to back to back annually. I hope a buyer who comes forward can appreciate what exactly goes into a piece of equipment like this vs a regular stock compact tractor.
@@tator05who makes the hydraulic ssqa kit?
It's a OEM Kubota option for the Kubota LA805, LA1055 loaders on the Grand L series only. @@amandadavis9726
I'm JOHN DEERE ALWAYS! BUT THAT LOOKS PRETTY SWEET 👍
Deere has had all of this for years!
It is a great tractor. Especially with all the extra hydraulics on it! A Kubota dealer in my area showed me this model this past summer. We weren't ready to buy yet and I told him it was just too big a tractor for what we were wanting to do. I do like how Kubota has changed up on the Grand L models the treadle style foot pedal. It's a lot more functional than the traditional one they've been slapping on the other models. I was wondering about the canopy fan. Is that canopy and fan one that is made by Artillian?
Yeah, I wanted to squeeze in the shots of the hydro pedal on this one to show how different it is from the other designs. I like it much, much better. I haven't looked close enough at the canopy to see who the MFG is yet.
Is that hydraulic SSQA mechanism an OEM Kubota piece or aftermarket? Possibly off a Kubota SVL and it happens to fit on a tractor as well?
I gotta take a closer look. Not positive. Looks OEM.
I have been searching for an add on kit for my existing tractor to add the power lock/unlock function for my loader attachments. Do you know of any options currently on the market? I haven't been able to find any so far. I'd rather buy a kit, but I may just have to buy a cylinder and fab my own.
Unfortunately I don't know of an aftermarket solution
That thing is so cool, is it up for sale? How much?
the kubota is the only one has that options now at the kubota dealers
Yes sir, $34,999... www.goodworkstractors.com/product/buy-kubota-l6060-tractor-kubota-l6060-tractor-for-sale/
l3901 looking at grapplers??? what is the brand that would suggest?
Worksaver
Difference between men and boys are the price of there toys. I have 3 rear remotes and a float remote where they said I could do it.
I have always loved that saying
You started saying thumbs down recently. How does that help?
That tractor new would be over 60k. That’s a smokin deal you have on this.
Have you ever shipped a machine to Canada?
claude normandeau : scholtens equipment does the shipping any wheres usa and canada
I haven't. Working on finding a good solution for it.
Wow only 120 hours! I wonder what it was used for? Its like not even broke it yet.
Well, apparently it wasn't used for much, haha!
I’m getting ready to add rear hydraulics to my Deere. Can you tell me who makes the ROPS mount for the hydraulic controls on this tractor. Thanks for any info.
I didn't find any identifying labels on it at all unfortunately.
@@GoodWorksTractors Thanks for looking
COO YA YA ,,, Maverde ! well somebody Go fund Me a cab version of that tractor . I'll park it in front the house like a piece of yard art . Seriously now think of what carefully placed /adapted bluetooth auto backup cameras could do for implement connection on this or any unit ! Kabota are you paying attention ? Oh yes , I am Entitled royalteez on this idea .
That kubota has some cool features but it still has that crappy heel - toe hydro pedal that will make it so I never own one.
I really do like the setup on this tractor better than all the smaller Kubota models. I could live with this one for sure.
Well... nice tractor of many functions. Suppose if ya can get by with orange, it's either a busy operators tractor, or a deep pockets lazy operators tractor. Nice vid though...
Lol, well yeah, if you can deal with orange 🤣👍
Are you going to get some flail mowers in
Got a couple random ones right now, more on a boat from Italy, and more ordered for spring. Preselling if interested, thanks!
@@GoodWorksTractors thanks I want to get one
Why did this person sell that? What’s that grey box right side ? How much is that system on the front . What is the price tag on that unit
Lease ran out, cover for hydraulics, no idea on hydraulic quick attach cost, it sold for around $36,000 if I recall
Damn sold fast
The paint is still on the bottom of the bucket.
Lol, I noticed that. That bucket is a beast too. Built like a tank.
Excessive number of remotes....almost silly considering the hydraulic limitations of an L.
Lol leave your rational thoughts on the shelf and just enjoy the scenery 🤣👍
Deere has had true single point connection loader, plus no stands to worry about for literally years. Plus, look at all of the hoses in the back, just hanging everywhere. Great place to get caught on. Also, the loader joystick looks so cheap. Deere’s 3rd function is actually at your thumb, so much better. Kubota is so behind it’s crazy!
I bet the reason the owner of this tractor let it go so quickly cause after all these hydraulic options there was not enough of flow to power them.... these tractors need a dedicated pump to work as intended
I would love all these functions and can't think of one application where I'd use enough of them simultaneously to lack hydraulic flow. 6 out of 8 are for a specific purpose with only two general purpose outlets.
Top and tilt have only momentary loads, same with the power ssqa. Raise/lower and curl/roll on the loader aren't used constantly. Same with the grapple/angle plow up front.
The other two remotes in the back could power two functions on a snowblower or a hydraulic angle blade. Again, momentary operations unlikely and unnecessary to enable at the same time as 3, 4, 5, 6, etc other functions.
Very unlikely to come up short on flow in 99% of applications.
That is a third function valve.
I was explaining the general concept of the third function/diverter. Even third functions on most compacts have greatly impacted hydraulic flow when operating an additional circuit at the same time. Thanks for watching.
It's the wrong color
kubota is my #1 worlds best product plus there alot cheaper then deeres wich deeres are way overpriced wich deeres are for rich farmers and kubota are affordable

@@davidbalvin8112 im planing on getting there 20.6hp kubota GL11,000 generator wich wasnt to bad for $8,600 wich uses the tractor filters and fluids wich is a best design kubota generators on the market
Kubota's are really pricey as well. If you can afford a new Kubota, then you can afford a new Deere and vice versa. That price gap is basically an old wives tale. There will always be some variation between dealers, but if you are looking to save a significant amount of money, then buy a 30 year old machine or something like a Branson, LS, etc.
@@GoodWorksTractors kubota here in canada at my dealer selling for $99,000 for the M6-141 and $129,000 for the M7-171 and $131,000 wich deeres here are over $200 to $400,000
That thing doesn't have enough hydraulic flow to run half of the remotes on the tractor. And in no way shape or form does that thing compare to a 4066R.
Well it runs two at a time just fine. I imagine three would be fine as well. I'm not sure what type of contortionist could really operate more than that or even need to run more than that simultaneously. Most circuits receive momentary activation such as curling or rolling, raising or lowering, etc.
As an owner of a 4066r, I can attest that this tractor is most certainly on the level of a 4066r. I thought long and hard about an L6060 cab before sticking with the 4r.
Why are you obese with foreign made tractors ,Do you ever plug any American brand tractors like Bobcat etc.?
