Probably true . But what he was talking about that even vimoh also agreed. Which is you cannot have an absolute 100% and concrete truth claim. We call it PSR. Principle of sufficient Reason. Vimoh says he has sufficient reason to believe in evolution even though nobody has lived long enough to know for sure. What Pradeep is saying is if you cannot know for sure how would you even know for sure that God exists. Pradeep is saying he has strong PSR to believe via his deductive reasoning that God exists. Both are valuing their own PSR. However vimoh would be logically inconsistent if he claims evolution to be true 100% when he says you cannot know something to be true 100%.

@@sudeepbarla-f4e people believe in evolution because of the overwhelming evidence gathered over a long time that proves evolution is real. Could there be some new discovery that's more accurate than that? Sure. But evolution is the majority opinion because of the facts, no one is out here talking about the things that were believed to be right before evolution.
What evidence exists to support that a God exists? Has there been a study that proves God is real or is there any evidence of any God from any major religion ever existing?
Pradeep's belief is based on no facts or evidence which is completely different from basing your opinion on facts and evidence and being open to being proven wrong if there's stronger evidence proving that.

14:45 hey vimoh!! I have faced this situation too. When I said I don't follow Hinduism and don't want to associate my name with it, some people got offended and said I am trying to become western and following a trend and nastiks are also Hindus blah blah. I had to take a hard take on casteism and give them a long lecture on it and Krishna, had to go through casteism in upnishads and Gita just to bash them how casteism is core to Hinduism then they blocked me. That's the story it is also hard for many Hindus to accept Hindus can be "atheist" not nastik wala atheist. They always try to bring you in Hinduism sab hindu hai, phir discriminate Karo hum upar tum niche.

10:28 I asked that question because I've often heard this "Alienation" argument from conservatives in my state of West Bengal when they talk about immigration of people from the Hindi belt, and from white people in Western countries when they talk about Asian immigration.
Especially the conservative Bengali people. When they talk about Hindi migrants in my state they say things like: They don't look/talk like us, we don't understand them and they don't understand us, they have more money power than us so they're able to set up businesses where we have to go ask for employment, they don't know a word of Bengali but we have to learn Hindi to work with them, what if this trend continues, what will become of our city, our state, our Bengali culture and heritage etc.
When conservatives talk about feeling "alienated" by queer people or by people of another religion, they're clearly bluffing. But when I hear them talking about feeling "alienated" in the presence of different looking people who speak a different language, I can't really think of a good response. I imagine that _maybe_ they're talking about the feeling we might get as Indians if we move to a country like China and start living there, surrounded all the time by people who don't know a word of our language and don't like us (NO HATE TO THEM, I'm just trying to make a point here). Of course experiences will vary for different people, but I've definitely heard of people's social life or mental health getting affected while they were living alone in a foreign country (I'm talking only about the "Feelings" they talk about, of course immigrants will never outnumber the native population).
I'm not a racist/conservative as Vimoh assumed, and I definitely don't buy everything they say. I was just confused, so I thought maybe Vimoh could give a good response to this conservative argument. But I guess I did a bad job of framing the question and he misunderstood me, so I'm just clarifying what I meant by that question here. I hate it when people misunderstand me, but then again I can't explain myself much within a 200 character limit 😥

Hi Kazi, you're already an MP when you win the election. Oath is for participating in the parliament (of course you'll be disqualified if you don't attend for 6 months). But having an examination is really bad idea, on the face of it, it looks like a good idea, but it will be means to discriminate backward people, and they'll not be able to elect their own to represent their interests...
And there are things which local governments can work more efficiently. Things like foreign policy and defence can be with central government. Even ghut national highways states can collaborate. Only local governments will be accountable for local problems. Otherwise issues will not be visible or cared. That's what happens in Delhi and ladakh and Kashmir when statehood is removed.

Hi Deep, good for you trying to be curious and learn more. But because some people are using the word consciousness wrongly, should I stop using the word consciousness correctly because there are many people who are misunderstanding it to be mind brain duality when there's no such duality and consciousness might just be an emergent property of the brain? Be it the emergent property of the brain or due to some magic, consciousness word is part of language that has particular meaning, language is ever evolving, sometimes abstract, sometimes particular, sometimes descriptive and sometimes prescriptive. Is it right to blame the language? It's how it is, and if enough people think we're using it wrongly, then meaning will gradually (sometimes slowly and sometimes fastly) change.

Hi Pradeep, you'll probably learn this in near future. But what you're going towards by trying to be absolutely certain is hard solipsism. We can't be sure anything apart from you is real, all of the world and people in it can be your imagination or simulation. I don't think anyone solved this problem, but to be a functioning human being in the world, we assume that everything around us is real, what we observe through our senses and process through our brain, otherwise there's no point in talking to anyone, if you're talking, then many times it is assumed that you're not solipsist.
But yes, our senses and our brain can deceive us, therefore whenever we say evidence, we talk about it being peer reviewed and verified by others so that we can be sure it is true. Ultimately you've to trust your brain and it's ability to take information, otherwise there's no point in talking. There are people who more frequently hallucinate. They talk to others and confirm if they are also seeing the same thing to be sure and be more probable about reality, of course that person is also seen and processed by the brain, but they can be more probable instead of absolutely certain.
Also you're saying how do we know all there's is material and mechanistic? That is because that's what is evident. Do you want me to believe in something that is not evident? With that logic, we can believe in anything from pixies and fairies to unicorns and dragons. I know you feel like mind brain duality and God might have more evidence, but till now we were not able to confirm anything that is not materialistic, that doesn't make it false and prove there's nothing non-material or supernatural, it just means there's no evidence and there's no reason to believe in it. We can still hypothise things and try to conduct experiments to prove it. As time passes people are becoming more and more sure that it's probably not there though... But people can always try and do more experiments to observe the world in a better way.
