@39:24 It's actually very simple to understand. Someone with less privilege will have to compensate that with hard work i.e. for same target they probably will have to work 100x more.
Lets say for every unit of effort you put in you get 100 points while an underprivileged gets 1 point. If an exam requires 1000 points you need to put 10 unit of effort and the other person needs to put 1000 unit of effort. So if you couldn't qualify it's because you failed to put 10 unit of effort and other person was able to put 1000 unit of effort.
When you fail despite having privilege obviously it's because you failed to put the bare minimal required effort.
When you are privileged and succeed obviously it's because you barely put minimal required effort.
When you fail without privilege obviously because you failed to put effort that 100x more compared to someone with privilege.
When you succeed without privilege obviously you were able to put 100x more effort than someone with privilege.

I would like to point out that even if you remove all these privileges there are still plenty of minute privileges that we all enjoy subjective of our environment and condition that we can't even notice or deliberately ignore! Hard Work still won't be the only factor taking you to success.

I think I understood what Raghav is saying but I also want to say (correct me if I'm wrong) when you take an individual and for him to be successful he needs to go hardwork no doubt and there may be cases where privileged people who are not successful because they didn't work hard enough. But when you look at the societal level who are successful most people would be privileged even if every one of them did hard work.

Karthikeya conveniently stated existence of gravity was substantiated mathematically. Gravity was not substantiated mathematically. The mathematics of it was substantiated with empirical evidence. Even imaginary numbers can be substantiated mathematically, but the truth in the real world but just as a mathematical concept for convenience can be verified only from the real world.
Cause and effect don't mean anything without something called time. Because cause creates effect in time otherwise all cause effects etc are occurring at the same time? The concept of cause and effect means nothing without taking account of time.

How do you deal with people who have extremist views (because of their religion) but do not imply upon you? I mean you know that they are extremist but they're not forcing it upon you; should we consider being friends with them even after knowing that they will show their extremism when time comes?
He's this open minded and liberal bcoz of his frnds back in 2010s. He too was an extremist back then,toh I feel u should befriend them and empathetically educate them,as to where they r going wrong.
@@Shatranjshersha Actually there's a Muslim friend of mine and whenever I try to question his belief,he gives absurd logic and then that debate gets heated. And then it causes me a mental strain that how someone can be so indoctrinated that they can't see the wrong things in their religion preaches. And even if we are having a normal conversation, some thoughts randomly come in my head that how can I be friends with someone who has such extremist views,how can I be friends with someone despite knowing that they don't question the wrong things (since all this goes against my standards/morals)
Though he doesn't imply his views on me,but it kind of bothers me to be friends with people who have complete different mindset as compared to me. All this is troubling me.

If someone like a God is not preferably nor interacts with the real world in any way, then that topic of God is of no use to us, if we start believing in things we need to start believing in infinitely many things. If they indeed interact with the real world, it needs to be shown in a verifiable way.
