I love this video. You have covered so many good ideas and counters. I have even tried to read The Secret, but couldn't finish - put it away maybe 1/3rd way through as a load of bollocks
Sir, you have argued very well. When one is desperate about something and not in a position to significantly influence the outcome but can be devastated by failure (e.g. rainfall for crops as a farmer, recovering from illness when not in a position to afford medical care) then unwarranted positive thinking might be unavoidable.
Vimoh, So much clarity in explaining the point. STAR TREK example - It is true the attacks on science are increasing using terms like "Inner Engineering", and "Quantum Consciousness" by modern Gurus. They sound like non-religious person.

I read it when I was a kid. Used to believe it to be true. Even the book leaves it all and at the end says you gotta start working for what you wanna achieve.

After the movie I watched about every Bob Proctor video. I had no one to encourage me but my virtual mentor Mr. Bob. He talked a lot about how the book "Think and Grow Rich" changed his mind as a young man. I will not dismiss the accusation that N Hill may have been a con man but I do not discount the thesis of that book.
It talked about if you have low self esteem work on it. Come up with a goal and auto sugest it to yoursef to you not only beleive it is possible but you have a burning desire to acheive that thing. Then you take action then see if that took you towards your burning desire if you fail team up with some who has strenghts in places you have weaknesses. And keep on until you acheive that goal or see it is not going to work and create a new one. It all seems like valid advice. Do you see a issue with this?

I think 369 law was popularised by same people who believe in law of attraction. And I also don't understand why people think Nikola Tesla was correct about everything. 369 could be his superstition like Ramanujan had superstition that his mathematics intelligence was caused by a goddess.
And we have tendency that if one person is correct about many things then he must be correct about everything. That's why some people say they believe in God because a big scientists also do or did believe in God.
Just because x=1 that doesn't mean y=1.

Manifestation can only happen when you DO something that materially moves you towards the thing that you're wishing for. You manifest things with your actions. That being said, you cannot manifest fantasies like having zero gravity in your home, neither by mind nor by action. That should be simple enough to understand.
LOA is real here is how it works - by keep pushing your desires to your self and making it your whole life, it will eventually motivate you to all of things that is required to do in order to do that or have that , and also there is thing placebo effect for physical things like - healing wounds and etc.
Believe It Or Not. But , Law Of Attraction Is True. And Yes , I also agree that there is no attraction without action

I agree that it does not work as people think. But It does work and the way it works is that, whenever you create a thought, for example " i want a car ". And you believed in it from the bottom of your heart that you can achieve it one day. This can be generated by doing something in that direction, or affirmating it, always thinking positive and optimistic about it. The very thought started to move from concious brain towards subconcious brain. Once the thought established in the subconcious. It starts directing the concious brain to produce creative and practical thoughts in the direction constructively so that the statement (" I want a car") can be a reality. And when the person start thinking more deeply and passionately about those produced thoughts and execute those thoughts and plans. Then he can actually achieve the desired result.
