Om Birla is a terrible MP also from Kota, Rajasthan. Isi ki ruling mein Kota mein humesha sbse jyada suicide cases hue hain aur IIIT Kota ke naam par ye 2018 mein vote maanga. Abhi tk IIIT Kota under construction hai. Aur ab ye AIIMS Kota banane ki soch rhe hain. Are ek to pura krle ye. And Kota mein actually development Congress ne kiya hai.
Imagine Parliament with fiery speeches of Mahua, The ruthlessness of Chandrashekhar Azad , cutthroat questions of Pappu yadav in next 5 years.
Where more than 110 bills passed without debate in last 10 years. Now they have to debate in every step of the government. Opposition literary have more voice in the house.
Do you think? They will do voice vote for every bill and then the speaker will give victory to NDA every time. If the opposition protests, the speaker will throw MP's out and suspend them. If things go out of control, nd the opposition does not budge from their demand for debate, they will run a smear campaign that opposition is wasting taxpayer money by disrupting parliament.

I slightly disagree with the focus on RaGa, personality cults are now the norm, I'll take RaGa over Supreme Leader any day.

What is raga's ideology? Its still unclear, he is only doing lip service to win elections. All other parties cater to these voters, raga's party is unique, they sit on the centre and have no core values

I offer the model of George Washington here, he led the revolutionary war with ruthless control and then limited himself to 2 terms after he won power, he could have become king but didn't.
If we have to choose between Supreme leader and RaGa, I would definitely go with Raga because he is not narcissistic , arrogance and don’t file religious hatred in society.

Considering the socio-political sphere of the country, people have been anticipating it to become '1984' or 'Animal Farm', but I am sure, that the country is going way into the zone of 'Blade Runner', where ad revenues are going to shape the human consciousness. Ad Revenue pushes channels. Political parties engage with channels. So, the ad people and marketing people are the ones who are really defining what the country is going to be.
Hey Vimoh i had a question if we start dissenting there is enough chance we will get incarcerated. And as many people are from small towns with there own jobs it might land us in problems so how do you think we can be safe while raising the right questions
Can someone write a story (may be vimoh can) a time travel story where EMERGENCY was not implemented, she did nothing about the movement in punjab. What would have happened 🤔 would we still have punjab? I don't want emergency to be defended but i also want to be practical and imagine how would india's map look today? If punjab gets a different country i am sure many other states would also ask for same (many from south would go too & east too?) . If punjab didn't separate she somehow stopped it by using other means like military rule would punjab have turned into another J & K like state? That was a critical time in our history, many possibilities were there. Only someone with great imagination can show everyone all the possibilities.

A good Neta cannot be a good person. Someone said this to me as well. I always retort - What is a good Neta? Is it someone who has leadership quality? Is it someone who is ruthless in winning election? Is it someone who wants to do real good (good for the people)? Because these 3 can be mutually exclusive. For the part of winning election by hook and crook, I agree this is somewhat true, but a good person may have leadership quality and will always want to do genuine good to the people.
Reference - Role of politician. It is much more than just getting face time in parliament & voting. One could be a pro-active social worker & nosy busy body within your party & limited circle beyond it. One could raise every kind of issue as long as getting the ticket for next round of election & rising up the power structure, is not the only (I repeat, only) aim.
If you are talented enough & work hard enough, you could be a Nawazuddin among the Ranbir world.
A politician can chart his own path, while working in the party. It would very difficult, yet could be rewarding & there are always smaller niche parties to go to, who need your kind of fame & public presence.

He also has a podcast channel and calls all right wingers to shit in his mouth. He recently got abhijit iyer mitra on his podcast and they just did all kind of bullshit. I couldn’t understand if they made any sense.
I don’t quite agree with Megnerd asking people to open up a CZcams channels so that we can bring up issues.. we have elected these politicians to talk bout issues and pass bills to improve our lives …. This conversation was a nothing burger

How someone expects Rahul Gandhi to speak for anything other than what benefits him alone is beyond me.
He has been an MP throughout the 10 years of UPA. His lazy @ss did not feel the need to do some work as a minister. He was Wayanad's (my constituency) MP in the last term and he did not have a single bill introduced to assist the backward district afflicted by wild animal conflicts and agrarian issues. Not one bill!
Rahul Gandhi is a product of a rotten system that feeds the aristocrats in silver spoons, while the masses create the result. He could have fought the Electoral Bonds case like CPIM. No, he not only accepted electoral bonds, but his brother-in-law Vadra gave bonds to the BJP to get DLF out of trouble.
He is simply reaping the benefits of hard ground work done by the masses, the farmers, the youtubers & youtube journalists, the students, and the left-wing activists. The only time I felt he was moving in a better direction was during the first Bharat Jodo Yathra. But since then, it's back to square one. What a privilege to be born in an aristocratic family. Had someone from the Left been this privileged, the work they do would have been at least highlighted, instead of being subjected to a systematic right wing propaganda, that is also backed by liberals.

I'll anyday bet my money on a better overall system (one that prioritizes the upliftment of the weakest and the most marginalized in the society first and foremost) than rely on saintly individual politicians that walked across mama earth.
Actually well put man, Something to think about... in hindsight, it now looked like RaGa had been only opportunistic instead of showing us a real, concrete ideology to follow him as a leader while BJP and their party leaders seem to follow a more concrete economic neo-liberalism with cultural conservatism ideology (whether you agree or not is another thing). I really can't point out where INC stands on issues, like the ones you mentioned. There is no really any long term vision also they discussed - be it on economics, social policies or foreign relations - everything seems very near-sighted, opportunistic, reactive policy making, just to gain political mileage on anti-incumbency & flop programs of BJP. Maybe some of the INDIA partners also have similar ambitions, so all are in cahoots for gaining power. A friend from Kerala was telling there were many news channels airing how RaGa was never there for meeting Wayanad's citizens in the capacity of an elected MP. And that a substantial portion of Wayanad voters thought of the greater good for the country (to get BJP out of power) and only hence voted him, though they were disgruntled with his attitude towards them. (I can't be sure because I do not follow much Malayalam news channels). But seemingly the voters of Kerala are well educated and aware of the government policies and know their rights, yet it looks like they kind of sacrificed and made peace with Rahul Gandhi's candidature for the greater good, and now he seems to have taken them for granted by choosing Rae Bareli over Wayanad.
