- Speaking to Tshidi Madia, GOOD party leader Patricia De Lille said DA leader John Steenhuisen does not understand how democracy works. De Lille was responding to Steenhuizens comments that parties like the PA, Rise Mzansi, GOOD and NCC are mercenaries.
I struggle to listen to her. She sold out every single person who believed in her, including myself. As soon as she got the chance she handed the keys to the ANC. If you vote for GOOD you might as well just vote for the ANC.
Why wont you join the MPC? I guess its because the ANC wont give you a cushie ministerial position. How can you hate your employer?

Tell me how a party with 1% of the vote gets to have a ministerial position but significantly larger parties don't.
@@Kal.99 you should read the news, not just the headlines. The fact that the ANC does not work with the DA tells you they get nothing from the transaction. But De Lille gets a ministerial position and never votes against the ANC. Tell me please why is that?

Hi all At least Steenhuizen is not a two face how can you claim to be the leader of the Good Party and be a minister for the party you are contesting against if you were true to the people of the country you should have told the ANC to get lost

To clarify, she is not a minister to the ANC, she is a minister in cabinet within the executive as appointed by the President. The Constitution provides for the President of RSA to appoint any member from the National Assembly, regardless of party lines. Section 91(3)(b) of the Constitution states: "The President may select any number of Ministers from among the members of the Assembly." Therefore, Patricia de Lille can be a cabinet member, as well as represent the GOOD party in the National Assembly. Whether it works and she can do her job without fear or favour is a whole other topic for discussion.

What I don't understand is that about our parliamentarians , as most of them are in their late 50 or over 60 yrs old and are still hanging on after this watershed elections. Politics of the stomach. Comradeship Janee, we are in for uncertainty.
We need young seasoned, dedicated and diligent hardworking individuals, who will think outside party lines and take this divided country forward. It seems as voters, we are gradually been forgotten after 29 May. Party members are thinking or speaking about positions, home affairs ;finance ministers etc. These parties are suppose to be concerned about how they r going to form a very strong transitional multiparty govt ,going forward. This country need to be govern. As voters ,we gave them a mandate, We trust and believe in you. Go and transform SA and it's citizens into a a better place and better lives for it's citizens.
Now, others are fighting in courts and others don't want to form or talk to or work with others. How then is this country going to be govern.
