The Eurovision Song Contest 2024 is just around the corner, and the countries' rehearsals on stage start on 27 April.
1st rehearsals (30 minutes)
Before the 1st rehearsal each country gets instructions on safety, the dressing room area is presented, and there will be an In-Ear Monitoring Rehearsal backstage.
After the 1st rehearsal each delegation goes to the Viewing Room to see the recording of the rehearsal. Here any changes on visuals, camera work, choreography, etc. will be discussed. After this, there will be a Makeup Consultation.

The irony is that while you weren’t reacting to the Israeli entry and effectively normalizing a pointless boycott that only served to bully a young girl who thought she was getting the opportunity of a lifetime and then a war broke out in her country, the very hate you were desperate to avoid caught up with you and as proven by the likes to dislike ratio. I empower you for reacting to all the entries as you should have done from the beginning but please don’t cave in to the online bullying and recind your reactions to Israel, hopefully this served as a lesson in eating the lasagna you cooked

That is not necessarily the case, I listened to the song just the one time, but because all the compilation videos and such always feature the same bit you end up learning it regardless of how many times you actually listened to the song itself. Happened to me with Israel, also happened to me with Estonia, Latvia or Lithuania among other songs that I don't listen to regularly @novaya3537

I fully support the decisions you make when choosing which countries to react to as it’s your channel and you can do whatever you want. It is a little confusing/misleading when you write statements saying you won’t be reacting to countries like Azerbaijan or Israel due to the political circumstances.. but later not only react to both countries but clearly enjoy both of their songs. The entire purpose of this contest is coming together and enjoying the commonality that every country has and that’s our universal love for music. I can’t wait for the day where we can stop pointing fingers and allowing war to dictate how we feel towards an entire country and just focus on the original purpose of this contest.
Couldn't have said it better. This goes for Russia as well. There are over 144 million Russians. We going to paint them all with the same brush because of the war in Ukraine? I say, let artists be artists. Sanctions should stop there. You can apply sanctions on a country but let the individuals express themselves and judge them by their art - not the country they happened to be born in (which wasn't their choosing).

The problem I see is that by initially ignoring the songs from Azerbaijan and Israel , you are directly making it about Eden Golan and Fahree and frankly, it’s sad.
The gripe is really about the Israeli government and EBU’s decision to include Israel.
The fair thing to do would be to boycott the contest entirely.

What the Eurofans do not understand is that for the Israeli people, Hurricane is not a political song, and wasn't one even when it was called November Rain (for me the new name and lyrics are way better). As the writer of the song Keren Peles has said, after the trauma of October 7th and the following war, there could be no song about anything else. The lyrics and visuals are deeply symbolic to Israelis, the song allows people to greave, to contemplate and cry together. October 7th and the following war changed the life of everyone. On stage in Malmo, the Israeli collective heart will be bleeding on stage. The cold reception is might get in the arena will only make it more symbolic and more painful. This song is about remembering, mourning, and - having the cry heard. As in good art, it is the expression of the deepest emotions. For me even without understanding the full symbolism, it is an excellent song for itself and Eden is a phenomenal performing artist. Yet, I really don't care how Israel will do competition wise - this song is for the Israeli people and as such it is the most important one Israel has ever sent to Eurovision.
