Hey Henry, for your information, the stair rule is that when climbing stairs you walk behind your girl, when descending, you walk in front. This stems from the idea that in either position you would be there to break her fall/catch her. The sidewalk rule is man always on the side with the car traffic when walking side by side. You stand up while a woman sits as a sign of respect, and while shaking another man's hand. I was raised by an older man, he drilled all that shit into me.
Of course, those rules where made when women didn't wear short skirts. If you walk behind a girl today when going up the stairs you'll be considered a creep trying to peek up her skirt.

The Driveway thing is totally something that happened! Someone committed a scam with a construction company and had them renovate the driveway... but failed to pay them after they already ripped everything up. She was literally just a victim in that case and the company refused to fix it. Sucks really bad for her.
A local concrete company gave her a new driveway for free and she donated her go-fund-me money to a local charity.
Why would anyone thing that she was figuratively the victim?

For those curious, the child is saying the Korean word for "F*ck".

Seems it's worse than that? People say f*ck all the time. It's more like a bad version of "motherf*cker" and not in the "I'm so cool" way but in the "You are absolutely disgusting" way.

One of the planes in that collision was a P-63 which is very hard to see out of from the cockpit. Just look at a photo of the cockpit of a P-63. Basically, The pilot of the P-63 didn't see the B-17 because of the blind spots and collided with it.
Yea, I remember when this happened. It seemed like the big plane was in the blindspot, like you said. There's other camera angles that you can see it better. From what I remember, it felt like the smaller plane was turning (angled), and the bigger plane was basically under the smaller plane. Also, it was an airshow, so there were a lot of planes flying around, it wasn't just the two planes.
I understood this was yesterday's video when jeannie made that Wind Waker reference again

That video of the driveway missing, I think it was Steve Lehto the youtube lawyer who speculated it might be the contractors scam, basically someone hires contractor to do some job o a property they are not associated with, for example to take out the driveway and lay a new one, then they send them a check, after half the job is done, they cancel, making some excuse and get them some of the money back, all whule remaining amicable and saying they are happy with the first part of the job, maybe even promising to hire them for the second half later. This all happens over a weekend or before the original check can clear. But the original check is fake and wont ever clear, its just a fake check scam but the work getting done obscures the scam and builds trust with the victim

Semi-related: In My minecraft instalation, I run Thaumcraft as a mod which adds nodes into the world where I can tap into to gain magic for my wands.
Some of those are bright and replenish aspect, some destroy blocks around them in a radius and vacuum everything in it to themselves (danger, stay the fk your distance!) and some create "eerie" biomes around them over time where special zombies spawn from.
They can all create over ocean and if it's a eerie one it just looks like a spawnpoint for one of the WW Kraken....

so i remember that B-17 and P-63 crash, it was ruled an accident.... the B-17 had no fault but the design of the P-63 was so weird that it would and could obstruct your vision during some turns and before the pilot could correct this he had already cut the B-17 in half... my old man works on planes like this more specifically the F8F-Bearcat and he was heartbroken to see those two planes and pilots lost in that way.
As a ww2 vehicle enthousiast i love seeing these machines doing what they do best, but its just so heartbreaking when stuff like this happens. Like that other viral video of the TBF avenger ditching in shallow waters near a beach.
Seems like they should have been in radio contact and making periodic call outs that would give some idea of aircraft position and intent. And doing stuff at an airshow which likely has more info-overload than normal, taking advantage of some extra eyes out there would also help. (Referencing horizon or whatever during aerobatics may break a typical scan pattern too.) But why that isn't the case, who knows?
@@pauljs75 while that would be the case, the maneuvers choreographed during the event had been done many a time before, but design wise the P-63 just has a very small canopy and obstructs the pilots view, even though its aerodynamic and a tight turning aircraft, because of the being unable to see sometimes in turns it also had a short operational life compared to others made during the same time period.
@@IceMarsoc77 indeed, it was choreographed, though the p-63 took the turn too wide and wasnt able to adjust because his view was blocked.
