At its core, the story of The Hunger Games is about the power of one person to change the world.
Set in the future remnants of the USA in a new nation called Panem, one male and one female "tribute" between the ages of 11 and 18 from each of Panem's twelve districts is forced to participate in an annual competition called the Hunger Games, which is broadcast live throughout the country for the entertainment of the Capitol's wealthy residents.
Now, bestselling author Suzanne Collins and the world of The Hunger Games return in her latest addition to the series: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes.

I’m guessing Suzanne Collins never anticipated Finnick to be receiving as much love from fans as he has

  • @fzxshadowz

Peta identifying the mutts just by sound is a scary thought into what other kinds of torture he was exposed to

  • @captsharkman7615

These scenes were so intense, lost so many characters in the span of like 5 minutes.

  • @christianberg8128

This was an intense scene, and I liked it, but the thing they couldn't copy from the books was how they were described to smell of sickly sweet roses, like president Snow. They were designed to kill the group, but to terrorize Katniss in particular

  • @TracerPerez

The way that Gale was shooting the incendiary bolts was literally the best thing to do in a situation like this. Knowing you could be attacked at any second in complete darkness and in such tight quarters let alone in a sewer...How horrific could that be. With Gale firing, its almost like gauranteed safety

Im so glad that pollux didnt die 😭 I was already at the edge of my seat with my mouth open when finnick died,if pollux also died i would have been so mad. He is such a sweet character.

I like how it makes sense for him to send everybody up before him and be the last man fighting the mutts. Finnick's 'thing' is fighting in water, just like how Katniss's thing is archery and Peeta's thing is painting himself into a rock. He was the one who could buy everybody else the most time and also had the highest chance of making it up the ladder without someone covering him. Anybody else would have been too slowed down by the water to properly fight.

    This scene is pure HORROR.

If the Hunger games account see’s this, please keep posting after the movie, and don’t disappear again! The entire community loves the clips and we can only hope that you keep posting them, after Mockingjay when the account was abandoned, I was devastated, and now that it’s back the community is so happy! We all love this account and to see it go again would be terrible. Please don’t leave us! Thank you for your time and have a great day

man I feel like Finnick in the movie had it way worse than in the book. instead of being immediately decapitated and already dead way before Katniss threw the Holo, the movie had him be still alive as the mutts brutally mutilate him

  • @pogodziej

That freakin' first sound of water drops/movement in the sewers that Katniss hears was it for me. I was like "Some people are gonna die and it will be a jump scare and I'll be terrified."

  • @dylans.1741

This right here is how to do a monster chase scene. When I rewatched this movie recently, I was on the edge of my seat, because I was legit scared for the rebels, and thinking about how much I'd be shitting my pants if I were there being chased by the mutts.

  • @jeremycardines992

Ngl I’m Kinda glad they changed the way Messalla died, because I don’t think I can stomach that part. It felt so sad to read.

They weren't moving quick enough in that sewer for me. Peeta literally said there were mutts and they had to move quickly and they still kept going at a turtle's pace

  • @user-zs5sq1ds2q

Honestly, I can't blame Peeta for stopping. I would've been so overwhelmed and terrified that I would've frozen long ago - and that's WITHOUT the torture.

This has to be the saddest scene in all of mockingjay 😭

  • @destinythomas5537

When Katniss dropped the bomb to end Finnicks suffering. Really made me cry the first time I watched this film. This really was the darkest one of the series even though all of them tugged at the heart strings

The amount of killstreaks Katniss got with her fire arrows is crazy

  • @PhantomfaceStudios

you can definitely tell this is the same guy who directed I Am Legend lol. fucking intense.

  • @GenTheFrog

Annie isn't the only upset one
