@@Nookrium its even funnier cause you call the dudes in this game "meeples" and the only game that call them that I know of is castle story, and board games too.

There appears to be something of a glut of these kind of medieval town building games at the moment.
IMO it's because none of them can get it quite right.

I love this genre and theme but god I just want to build sprawling cities surrounding a massive castle I’ve designed and a lot of these games lack building diversity and feel a little stale. Foundation is probably one of the best at the moment. Let’s hope manor lords does it right 😩

Can't help thinking the towers have doors out onto the walls, they ought to double as access for archers to get up there.

i love games like this, i got sick of the usual FPS, Gacha, Puzzle games its literally over saturated, single player rpg and rts on the other hand are something that i really want to see more of these days thanks for this vid bro i couldn't have known a game like this is being developed if it wasn't for you.

This looks really good, kinda looks like Kingdoms but isn’t the same thing. I like the pacing, long build and manage things then a quick and dirty fight. =]

It is a bit like Stonehearth, but SH is more community building (the meeples have names, likes and dislikes) and this seems to be more of a combat driven game. It looks like a lot of fun. I am eager to see more days.

I still haven't figured outr how to rotate buildings when building or how to ensure which way the tower doors face (you can't rotate the towers after building like you can with the walls). If there is a pause key I haven't found it. The demo was nice to play through once, but I cen't imagine not getting bored very quickly due to the repetitive nature, nevermind the fact that there's a lot of these games on the market right now.

This seems like the kinda of game where it's best to create a bottleneck, as opposed to blocking off the most likely path of attack. A lot like "Rise to Ruins."

I’m pretty late so I doubt anyone will see this, but there is an old flash game called house of wolves(if I’m remembering correctly) and it was almost an exact 2D version of this game, check it out on armor games :)

The best game similar to this right now is "Kingdoms and Castles" - I had a lot of fun with it recently, but the devs are busy working on a huge new feature - AI controlled Kingdoms for you to fight with!

Looks OK but it's very similar to various other sim games. I picked up Kingdoms and Castles a while ago and have had lots of fun. It's really cheap and very highly rates on steam. Not much point in getting this as well.
