It's kind of weird that resource buildings give you four fields to work but only three workers max.

I think it's not one worker per side/field. You can have a farm on one field and still run 3 workers on it. The number of additional fields and the number of workers together determine productivity, e.g. a one field farm with three workers produces more than a one field farm with one worker.

Mac users: Don't waste your time. This game doesn't work on current macOS versions, which is typical for itch.io games.

Hmm, strange. It does work on my machine running Catalina, though you may have to Shift + Click 'Open' in the context menu to bypass the verification check.

​@@ThePixelgrapher I'm on a relatively fresh Cataline macOS on a new MacBook Pro. Bypassing the verification check resulted in the application starting up, but then just hanging. I saw a dock icon, an app-specific main menu, but no main window ever came up. But good to know that it might not affect all mac users.

Played the game now in my gaming desktop and it's worth checking out. It looks really beautiful, handles nice, runs stable. This game is more polished than many paid alphas on steam.
I made it through the first 3 worlds and hecked up in the 4th world by not defending one side.
