We got to spend a whole day at the longest beach in the world! From meeting with local and international fans, to enjoying seafood in big quantities, roaming through the local markets of Cox's Bazar this is a full day of exploration.
Cox's Bazar Beach is the world’s longest “natural unbroken sandy beach in the world. Here are our first impressions about Cox's Bazar, the most popular touristic destination in Bangladesh! Is it worth it to come here? How does the longest sea beach in the world look like? Can you even swim?
We are in Bangladesh to explore the Bangladesh culture, Bengali food, blend with the Bangladesh people and see how life is in the Bay of Bengal. Bangladesh has welcomed us for the past months and we are in love with this colorful country!

Hi Mike & Gigi, honestly you guys are spoiling us with these wonderful vlogs, it’s so natural and chilled. Also I noticed Gigi giving Salaams (peace be upon you) to the locals which is such a beautiful thing to do even though she didn’t have to do it but just goes to show why we love them both because their so open minded and respectful of other people cultures and practises, so much respects goes to you both, nice one guys ❤️💚
I think it’s fair to say you don’t just have fans in Bangladesh but also internationally because even Louise is watching your vlogs aswell. Me and my family have been to Mermaid Cafe before but never to Prasaad Paradise but you guys have sold it to me so I’ll be sure to visit that place next time I’m around that neck of the woods to try out some of the their dishes. Normally Bangladeshi foods are super testy. We use so many ingredients that make these foods super delicious and our stomachs can digest all and few of the herbs that we use every single day are super helpful for health as well. But unlike Thailand, we don't use so much spices. I guess foreigners can adopt our food well. And many of you may not know, most of the INDIAN RESTAURANTS in UK are originally from Bangladeshi owners. Since India is a big and famous country they brand their food as Indian.
Let me copy paste from The Guardian:
"Nevertheless, Indian restaurants are a thriving business, and around 90% of the Indian restaurants in Britain today are owned and run by Bangladeshis. There are more than 8,000 Indian restaurants in the UK that are owned by Bangladeshis, and they worry about losing business by ditching “Indian” from their trading name.. But even with a British-Bangladeshi population of around 600,000, the Bangladesh brand is weak - rarely does a curry house brand itself as a Bangladeshi establishment. Bangladesh is not India or Sri Lanka or Pakistan. But it’s up to the new generation of Bangladeshis to tell that to the world."

Actually it was Bangladesh food that convinced us a few years ago to come visit the country. It was some chicken masala cooked by a great Bangladeshi guy in Almaty, Kazakhstan, and we told him: if you can cook like this, I want to visit your country! And here we are

Technically part of India is originally our land Which is west Bengal, now part of India and they speak bengali there so we can use the name indian, you can get indian bengalis and bengali is the second most spoken language in india. Most people in the UK, Europe, USA, Australia have come to realise in the past 10 years that 90% of those Indian restaurants & take-aways they have been eating in are actually owned and cooked by Bengalis from the Syhlet region of Bangladesh. Our curry industry has given jobs to many people and given the exchequer of the government near £3 billion pounds in tax revenue as mentioned and recognise by British politicians like David Cameron and other big business entrepreneurs, they have said this in the British Curry Awards which the founder is Enam Ali (British Bangladeshi origin) so the people of the UK now realises it's Bengalis that run the majority of indian & Bangladeshi restaurants. The natives of the country really appreciate the efforts of our people and enjoy the the cuisine, hence why curry is one of the most popular cuisine in Britain.

I don't think many westerners have introduced the country like the way you have!!
I have to agree, Dodo Explorers have laid down the bench mark of how to vlog and take in the cultural norms and practices in a country like ours, it’s amazing how adaptable they are. The only thing I would suggest tj not to do is leave their belongings with strangers just to be on the safe side but otherwise they hit top marks in majority of their vlogs and presentation especially the drone shots, absolutely top notch.
Try to go Cox Bazar or any other visitable place before 10:00 AM
