I tested the new #iforcemax powered #pickup #truck from Toyota, the Tacoma Trailhunter All-new from the ground up, the new Tacoma is a wizard off road with #oldmanemu #rigidindustries #arb and a torquey #hybrid #turbo powertrain #4x4 #4wd - Auta a dopravní prostředky
this isnt your average everyday inflation, this is... advanced inflation.
I’m a Toyota fan, but you will not catch me spending 65k+ for a 4cyl Tacoma.
The 4 cylinder doesn’t bother me. The $65k price tag does.
Also made in Mexico. Toyota and whoever buys these have lost their minds
You must hear the sound of the turbo loader.. oww amazing!! fıısssssSSSSS wutututu.......
@@tomgillotti This is a specialty vehicle. It’s not made for 40 something Dads with two kids and a mortgage.
This is a very special vehicle in a niche market made for someone with discretionary income.
Wait for the 4Runner then.Same engine but assembled in Tahara, Japan. @@youtubedude3422
$70K - zero rear seat vents
Plus zero rear seat room.
No engine cover! This is ridiculous! Cover those ugly wires!
this is the anthisis of the sprit of a tacoma
Going to be interesting to see how well these sell
The beta males will line up for it.
Cool truck.😎
The price sounds expensive but it seems like the amount of engineering and the tech that went into developing the truck probably justifies the price. It will be interesting to see the price structure of the 4 Runner and how deep they go into the Land Cruiser price structure.
You are right.
Those Toyota spotters should have just put training wheels on that damn thing. Leave Kirk alone, let Kirk give it the beans!
Great video as always, love the trailhunter not a fan of the price.
It's pronounced Emuuu u said it right the second time. I like our Aussie Hilux Rogue looks better outside but the interior of this is awesome
Cool
Pricing 65K🚩without dealership markup🚩thank you Kirk
Markups are going to be legendary on these!
There is no point to go off Roading because it’s just basically a big truck and I’m going over a rock. Get yourself a 53 mile per gallon Camry for 32 grand and save money at once.
You go off roading in a camry?
Truck prices are insane! I rather buy a house.
Lol
The new Tacoma is an IQ test.
If you buy one, you fail.
Rear seating space sucks and its just a storage space at this point - give me access cap with longer bed!!!!!
With some patience and saving - I would rather drop more coin on the GX550 (v6 and made in Japan) than a Tacoma. The Trailhunter is beautiful, but the price point for a Tacoma is delusional - maybe on the Sequoia it could be worth the price hike.
So to qualify to finance this 65K truck you must make how much.....$150K?
It’s closer to 120 but still ridiculous
Buy the $31,000 base model. We live in a society where everyone thinks they deserve the newest top of the line vehicle.
@@user-vx7vi3vq1c that’s not the issue. The issue is that these same trim levels were 10-15Gs less just 2 years ago
@@timalan7406 Hand crank windows? No AC? Why are you such a liar? They have power windows and AC. There are 12 available on Edmunds right now.
@@reyosegueda6395 Was the Trailhunter available 2 years ago? That’s the truck we’re talking about in this video.
65K+ dollars for a four cylinder truck with no room in the backseat. Forget about it. I'll keep my 4runner. Thank you.
Disconare? 😂
Kirk, I don't understand all the fuss about the price. This is a luxury, 'lifestyle' accessory for the wealthy. I see no reason why we peasants should fret so much about the price tag. 😉😉
I hate to say it, but you’re right. This is a highly specialized niche vehicle. It’s not for everyone.
65K for a tacoma 4 banger with a battery-LOL come on man!!!!-ill keep my 4Runner
I’m gonna keep my 4Runner 😂 I can’t afford this
the TRD offroad versions aren't selling as is for 45k-55k and now 65k? dare i say even the stealerships's are going to have to forget those mark ups maybe. i will still wait for a used TRD off road as i really like this gen Tacoma.
Hopefully they will sit and start getting rebates like the Tundra.
65k for a Tacoma? Toyota it's nuts.
The base model is $31,000.
@@user-vx7vi3vq1c that has nothing on it, they do it on purpose to leave the base model as something barely anyone would pick for the sake of being able to say "starts at 31k"
Not going to be loading much with a 1245 lb payload 😂
Full loaded 80k CAD Tacoma, I feel poor now😂
Nice truck. Not worth the price tag.
$65k are you shitting me”!
Also besides the bigger infotainment, there's nothing to inflate the price by 15k over the last Gen.
@@makatron Toyota said eat it
@@appleztooranges good luck, even the new 250 starts at 95k here.
@@makatron glad I got a 2023 trd pro
@@appleztooranges now I went from wanting one new, to maybe a gently used one in 2027.
Toyota/Lexus new suv's and trucks $6k-8k too high, otherwise they would fly off the lots. However no one is forcing you to buy. The Ranger V6 looking better now.
$65k no moon roof or panoramic wow….
You don’t put a moon or pano roof on something that’s meant to be an overland vehicle 😅
I think it’s an option you can add
With a tiny engine and made it in Mexico but still selling over price in my opinion
For me, It’s not even the fact that it’s a 4 cylinder. That price tag is plain outrageous. Hope Toyota loses big for this and gets humbled for trying to take advantage of their fanbase’s loyalty
Price tag for the TRD pro and trailhunter is More than fine considering these are ultra high end special Trim levels. Tacoma has multiple different TRIM levels available which is cheaper .so this is not only the choice. Always complaining and complaining.oh my god 🤦😒🤦
Good pricing given the specs, this car anytime Bove a Ford or GM....
Toyota ruined a great thing with the price. How unfortunate
Toyota has done nothing wrong with the price regarding the TRD pro and trailhunter. they are very special Trim levels so obviously it's going to be expensive. Only thing unfortunate is these over dramatic comments for top end halo trim levels . while knowing full well these Trim levels do have demand.
There's are for off roading and overlanding. If you aren't planning on doing any of these things then I would look at the other trims.
Another channel contributing to the new car affordability crisis.
Don't forget the 500 pounds of battery.
