I have both. The GX4 in my opinion is the better gun for EDC.. The trigger, capacity, and texture on the grip along with concealability favor the Taurus.
The GX4 has been very reliable for me. Only thing I've done is put a set of " Glock Style " night sights on it. Two good choices though, thanks for the video !
So here's the thing if they cost the same the Taurus is still better however if you have to have a Harley Davidson you have to have a Harley Davidson if the name is what reflects on your brain there's nothing that's going to change it even though there are far better options Taurus is that perfect example.
Great video, and really good comparison. The only thing that I wanted to point out was when it was said that "You have to have the keychain to take down the GX4." I'm really sure that this was a slip of the tongue. And simply and honest mistake. Yes, you DO need a tool to take down the GX4. However, anything that will fit in that slot will do. The keychain, flat screwdriver, back of a knife, shell casing, etc etc.
Taurus is a better option. In the sub compact class besides the Glock 26/45 Glock not competing with Taurus. It's just a older design. That's out of date that's why it's so many Glock clones.
Carried my Glock 43 for so long it has holster wear but recently came across the gx4 about the same weight now it my carry as I pocket carry and needed light weight with mor capacity took it to range and actually think it recoils less than my 43
I shot the gx4 today and compared to my g43x and wao honestly I’m torn between both. My glock took about 600 rounds to break in and finally get the hang of it and shoots great it has a learning curve almost, gx4 I’m sure broken in by previous renters shot wonderful it felt better than the glock but it could be that it was simply less uptake and a flat trigger that made it better as I do I have a bad habit for low and left so to the snappy trigger on the glock 43x. Capacity is alright 10(+1) vs 11(+1) or 13(+1). Seemed SA 15 round mags are not compatible with the MOS so if on a budget and more rounds (which if you need more than 11 you in a pickle IMHO) go Taurus 100% if you want the glock reputation and aftermarket support and something that once you learn is magic go glock 43x.
You don’t know if a higher round capacity mag is available for the 43X? Seriously??!! Shield Arms has only sold tens of thousands of 15 round mags specifically designed for the 43X! 🤦♂️
Im torn between these two. Ive had the G43X in my hand its very comfortable and it’s so easy to conceal. My main thing is conceal ability comfort cause I want to carry everywhere I go. My friend that has the G43X says its so easy to conceal and take everywhere. Any feedback would be helpful
@@Mrhandyhitman I haven’t concealed the G43x. I have shot it though. It’s a longer grip. Which usually is harder to conceal. The Gx4 is thin and I usually carry outside waistband (though concealed) and don’t have an issue. It’s lightweight!
Actually like the Taurus the trigger is a whole lot smoother and nicer than the Glock texturing is better than the Glock so I would have to go with the Taurus gx4 I carry it everyday
Glocks are overrated in my opinion. They haven't done anything new. They base everything on the same boring design and you have to replace half the gun just to make it on par with the other guns out there. When you buy a Glock, you're just buying the name.
dont need that tool actually....for gx4....just bullet or spent round will do the job....and if you are one of those weird dudes with long fingernails...that could work also
Over rated maybe. Junk no way. It always amazes me when people claim Glock is junk. How they can ignore the 30 years of fantastic performance and consistency is beyond me
I actually like the Taurus Gx4 Even if they were the same price. The Taurus being far cheaper was easy choice for me. I love it. slightly smaller too.
Facts. Glock not competing honestly. Especially against the Gx4 Xl Toro 💣💣💣💣💣🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I have both. The GX4 in my opinion is the better gun for EDC.. The trigger, capacity, and texture on the grip along with concealability favor the Taurus.
Have the gx4 love it, no complaints here
GX4…no brainer. Love mine. That’s my edc first choice.
I own both of these and I find myself always carrying the gX4 it is a badass little pistol.

It's not worth the same price. The GX4 is the superior weapon IMO
Great video, and really good comparison.

I like both 😊
I got both and honestly I like the Gx4 better than the 43x, Glock fan here tho.
Yes but I have noticed that the finish is tanning
What about aftermarket support, such as holsters and lights?
Love my GX4 ❤
I have to go with glock, but the gx4 is nice.
Rock the Glock!
are the back plates the same on both?
Muito bom 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
The local gun shop has the Glock for $60 more than the Taurus. I'd like to say I own a Glock but....
Oops! Check that it's $160
There is no better option. Its subjective. Also neither of these need a red dot. Its not a battle gun
Having shot both… the GX4 is the one that got my money.
You don’t know if a higher round capacity mag is available for the 43X? Seriously??!! Shield Arms has only sold tens of thousands of 15 round mags specifically designed for the 43X! 🤦♂️
I own many, many Glocks and a few GX4s. I lost interest in Glocks after the 43 that was incredibly dull. I'd pick the GX4 over the 43X any day.
Overall I like my Gx4. I’m planning to get the Canik MC9 though. Will it replace my EDC? We will see.

Can you use a universal tool like a casing to help field strip the GX4 or only with that tool.
You could use any flathead tool
Yes, a case rim will work.
You can use anything

I own the GX4 as my EDC. The 43X is up next for me.
I honestly like my g3c over the 43x idk why, i would prob pick the 43x over a gx4 though
I own a Gc3 it's a throw away gun. Also own a 30sf and 33 357sig. Gc3 feels like a 200$ gun trigger feels like a toy.
Great video bud..to bad the Gx4 had the recall...I decided to go with G43x
Only some had a recall. But I understand the hesitation. :)

Yep I guess me and most militaries and law enforcement agencies across the world don't know any better
Glock of course!
Are people still talking about or even buying Glocks?
Yep I like mine 30sf and Glock 33 357 sig .
Perfect GX4 would be a T.O.R.O. one with a takedown level, and manual thumb safety…!!!
Manual safety is for people that have no discipline . And don't trust themselves to carry chambered
Gx4 better in almost everythings.
Call me crazy but I'll take the gx4 all day. Way better trigger and i can buy 2 for the price of the glock
There's a reason the Glock is #1
dont need that tool actually....for gx4....just bullet or spent round will do the job....and if you are one of those weird dudes with long fingernails...that could work also
No comparison. Glock 43x is a much better gun.
I hate Glocks, over priced junk

@@Nono-rh4lrGlock is used around the world. That dude prolly never owned a Glock
This is a anti Glock review!
Reality can be a bitch 🤷♂️
Glocks are so all the same. 40 years of innovation have left them in the dust, many better options from Sig, Springfield, Smith and Canick and Taurus.
Neither one.
Get yourself a real gun.
Stop talking
That's easy the better gun is always the Taurus gx4
Taurus is not battle proven, but it makes a nice paper weight.
