- Last week was a difficult time for us at Beleaf in Fatherhood. Porch pirates stole thousands of dollars' worth of equipment from us, disrupting our urgent business operations. We felt defeated and angry, and I wanted revenge. However, something amazing happened. God worked on our behalf, and with the help of the Vista Sheriff's department and Amazon's kindness, we caught the criminals and recovered almost double what was lost.
An old friend saw the video on social media and pointed us to the thieves, one of whom is the mother of his child. We understood his moral dilemma and proceeded cautiously while holding them accountable. We are grateful for this experience, as it showed us the power of working together with our team at Beleaf in Fatherhood, our followers and supporters, Amazon, and the Vista Sheriff's Department.
We're glad to share this story with you and want to thank everyone who helped us through this challenging time. Our spirits are lifted, and we're back on track with our mission.

I hate that addiction can make people so desperate to do things like that. I'm so glad you had a doorbell camera, a friend willing to talk to Amazon, and a platform that gets people's attention. All of your blessings worked together to bless you another day.
We should always stop and be grateful for everyone and thing in our lives because they're the vehicle that so many blessings are delivered!

I want thieves removed from the community, growing up my Grandma said "if you'll lie, you'll steal, if you'll steal, you'll kill", it's about character. No one wants these kinds of people for neighbors, how unsafe. Glad of course all things worked out for the Beloved swiftly.🌼
That slippery slope argument isn't really valid though. There would be way more murderers out there. A large amount of the population steals. The largest form of theft is wage theft.
For example all the money Amazon steals from their employees...
I stole from a little knick knack shop when I was a child.
I lied about stuff all the time too as a kid, for protection of myself I guess. Abusive childhood home.
And by now, thousands of bugs have been killed by my hand.
I have stolen.
I have lied.
I have killed.
I must be removed from the community! Where should I end up?
It truly is an awful feeling when someone steals from you on any level. So glad you recovered your items! God truly does look out for His people ❤
As someone who also lives in San Diego (just moved from Clairemont to La Mesa) the thievery is crazy. Last year while my brother was house sitting and watching our dog while me and my husband went out of state to visit his family, his car was stolen right out of our parking space... but the Clairemont police was amazing and found the guy a day later. My brother was able to get his car back. Unfortunately the man who stole it had hit something so there was a bit of damage to the body but overall the car was fine and the items inside were still there.

I feel your pain. I ordered a pink nintendo switch lite for my little sisters 8th birthday last week…. bro the fedex worker opened the bottom of the box, opened the switch box tore it out, put the empty box back in and sealed the bottom with packing tape. I was so upset but God moved with the quickness and it worked out.

I love this 💙 on the Nextdoor App in my neighborhood, ppl stay stealing packages. They steal cars, rummage through your cars, steal bags of fruit off your trees (not really a big deal but that's still rude). Greatfully, Amazon helped you out because many of us non-impact creators suffered the loss w/o one care from Amazon or any other carrier that leaves packages over $200 at the door w/o ringing the doorbell, knocking, or getting a signature.
If every crime could have a happy ending like this. Or could be prevented to begin with. Glad you got it all back and happy you had all the support and help in the midst of a very unfortunate event.
My sympathy for you as a crime victim, but who I really pray for is the baby whose mama that is robbing innocent folks.

You are Blessed Glen! I had my order from Amazon items stolen two weeks ago. Reported it to Amazon, they sent me a refund. As you stated I felt violated because someone stole my items. If you have a Amazon Hub Locker in you neighborhood, use it that way you packages will not be stolen. ( Note: some item you may order comes from the dealer and have to be delivered at your home or apartment.)
Team work at it's finest! This encouraged me... And thanks for being honest, sometimes we forget to pray first and want to be in our feelings lol but I'm glad it worked out. God wins again 🙌🏼

Technically the hard drives that you recovered belonged to Amazon because no one signed for them.
Also, great job mentioning how the Sheriff’s dept was helpful and professional.
💯 upon getting his property back, the RIGHT thing, or Godly thing, would be to return the replacements back to Amazon.

I’m glad you followed through and did all you could to get the justice you deserved but STILL gave God honor for the favor and speed in which everything was handled.

This happened to me with a delivery driver. I saw him sign for the package and scan it and drive away with it. I got a refund but someone taking things away from you hits different. I sent that footage right over to the delivery company site and left it to God. We have to stand up in certain situations. It is wrong and they should be held accountable. Thank God!
While watching this video I got a notification that my Amazon package will be delivered tomorrow!! 😂 I work from home so I'm going to wait at the front door as I work the entire day! 😂

Look at God! I remember when the van got stolen a couples years ago! I was so mad. So when this happened I was beyond angry. "Vengence is mine, saith the Lord, I will repay!" 🙌

This just happened to me
Sunday. By Monday morning I had the police to the house confronting the culprits (my neighbors across the street if you can believe it!) By afternoon they had returned my package and the son was mowing my lawn in hopes of me not pressing charges. Thanks to my security company for excellent video footage. Send your packages to a hub in the future. No home delivery!
I cannot stand a thief! I love to hear how this turned out. I pray I can get a similar outcome for the person who hit my car in my driveway and left. My car was totaled and I was 8 months away from paying it off.
Happened to me on the road after paying off my car that only had 60K miles on it. They lied and gave me some fake insurance. Have a car payment again. 😢

This is a learning lesson for people who are violated by porch pirates. At least this gives us information needed in the steps to take to recover property stolen. 👮

nothing happens by coincidence. the bigger picture of this all is that old Glen is truly laid to rest. You responded as the man God has created you to be and as a result, it worked itself out in your favor. I'm still growing because I pray for a reason to go off on somebody! whew!

Amen!! I am always hurt when my stuff is stolen. They deliver my items to #6 in the other apartment on the property and instead of returning it to us, they keep it. I’ve seen them using the items. I followed them to get a closer look. I want them to know that I know!!!😡😤
