My man Wyatt Langford suffered through a burst testicle last season (and played through the end of the game) the man is tough as nails mentally and physically.
The first two were pretty standard bad umpiring, but that last pitch was completely insane. There's no reason umpires even need to call balls and strikes anymore. A laser box could have 100% accuracy every at bat.

It's where he sets up. Back in the late 80s early 90s that's how umpires were taught to set up to see the pitch. He doesn't follow the catcher the way that the newer trained ( and more effective umpires) have been taught to do. It's not an excuse to not keep up on the training, but Hernandez and C.B. Bucknor are from the same school and both are absolutely dog waste on calling the edges accurately.
