Good news about that is they don't have to ask a fan to give the ball back.
Oh if that was Dodger Stadium the security guards would have came down to the field and separated everyone.
the fan should be properly compensated
Lawls
Translation poor person most likely a child should give the ball to the millionaire.
I like seeing 1st career homeruns land in the bullpen for that reason
"Boy, that was fun watching him turn those bases around!" IKR! It would have been great IF YOU HAD SHOWN US HIS RUN!
Beat me to it. It sure would have been fun!
That was very cool. I don’t think I’ve ever seen an inside the park homer without a throw to the plate. Dude is fast.
Being fast yes, but he cuts the bases so damn well. He’s probably not as fast as you think, but when you turn the bases like he does it’s beautiful to watch
then you've not seen very many inside the parkers. quite common
2:28 is right before he hits it, if you just wanna jump right to it.
Bump
Big brother
Thank you
Fr why do they always show the full ab
@@CL2- because at the same time that’s what baseball is, sometimes watching a full at bat is more exciting than just the end result. I.e Ohtani vs Trout 2023 WBC
It’s amazing how disciplined he is at the plate given his age.
I saw that on TV and the crowd was ELECTRIC! Go Rangers!
So did I!
@@too1leasy Nope. It was on Bally Sports (used to be Fox Sports).
Personally, I’m an astros fan
The kid is fast man, he was built up as this amazing power hitter and I am sure he’ll find his power but he is a sneaky speed threat!
I love this kid! Seeing the smile on his face was everything 🥹
0:32 “You feeling a home run right here?” “Well I like the idea.” How hilarious. An inside the park home run, an idea of a home run, just not sure how he was going to do it. 😂😂😂😂
At least Zack hample didn’t catch it
rofl
@zackhample
hate that guy
Take it to the bank, those are the best, Play Ball! Congrats Langford! Let’s Go!
Definitely gonna get to keep his first HR ball as a souvenir:)
Josh smith on his first career home run was a inside the park
There are 3 Rangers on that list now. Langford, Smith, and Gentry
Absolutely horrible videography... Hos first homerun, it's an inside the park homerun, and they hardly showed him running the bases. Should be criminal, or somebody should get fired!
It's why I won't pay $20 a month to stream these.
Look for the clip that has every angle.
its a tv why would it include that
I was in the stadium when he hit it, and I enjoyed every second of it.😁
So lucky!
Same!! Friend and I were hoping we would see his first HR it was awesome.
Even better, this was my first ever in-person MLB game!
@@scramingtonand you saw something historical. I love baseball! :)
That's gonna be a great story to tell his grandkids someday
They should make the outfield walls all kinds of weird angles so there's never such a thing as predictable bounces.
Niceee he’s got a dope name too!
Nicely done! 🤠
Absolutely worth the wait and so apropos. Not a dry eye in our living room, even amongst those who aren’t particularly baseball fans. Wouldn’t have it any other way.
Even though I’m a HUGE Astros fan, I love to see this special moment, and the boom made it even better, love how energized the commentator was
0:49 bro spoke it into existence
Wyatt Langford is my hero go rangers
“That was fun watching him turn those bases”…wish we could’ve seen some of it.
thats crazy
He’s Got some speed going on!
My Rangers Fans were like WE GOT SPEED too not jus YALL
Perfect placement
Thank you for the W Langford
Finally a inside the park home run
I love that baby blue uniforms are back in the game.
He did it without even a throw home, even harder to do.
That's pretty fun
Congratulations Langford
I was at that game
Video starts at 2:29
Fast! 😮
LET'S FREEKIN GOOOO WYATT!!!💪😎👍
&
LET'S GO RANGERS!🐎.....
15 seconds, 360 feet, that was pretty fast...
POV:Backyard Baseball:
It looks like those animated shows episodes about the baseball game hehehe
Now that's a Little League Homer. Nice
There wasn't a single error in this sequence
Just show it god damn!!!!!!!!
There’s this button that lets you skip ahead….. sorry for your attention span, some of us like hearing what the commentators have to say about the player
Little League Home run in The Majors to make it your first.
Welcome to the Show Langford.
The commentator called it but he didn't call a inside the park homerun
He calls it every time Langford comes to the plate lol.
yea
🔥🔥
I went to that exact game and my friend thought it was a regular homerun
I guess we don't know how many Big Leaguers got an inside the park home run as their first.
Found one interesting nugget:
Pete Milne on April 27, 1949 hit an inside the park GRAND SLAM for the NY Giants which beat the Brooklyn Dodgers for a final score of 11 - 8. It was his ONLY career home run! ⚾️😲❤️ Still trying to find a list for Wyatt…
2:30 for the action
I can’t believe these reres forgot that Josh Smiths first home run was an inside the parker too. 🤦🏻♂️
Lol hilarious how his team told em to get down at home and there was no throw
I think when they make MLB the show 24 they should add Bruce bolt and aria sliding mitts and all brands of sliding mitts
Casual baseball fan here, but can a pitcher not quick pitch to mess with that set up? Batter is in the box so mid third circle of the bat can the pitcher not just toss a quick one for a strike?
Rookie of the year.
Okay young buck I see you
I hit one my 2nd year of little league and my dad took everyone to Dairy Queen.
2:29
Langford almost lapped Heim lmao
I have to give it to him it was a good hit, just hate how it was against the reds
🔥
Does he keep his first outside the parker ball too
Trenton Thunder #GatorMade 💪🐊
This highlight event should’ve done a better job of showing all of the base running.
🐊🐊🐊🐊🐊🐊
they didnt even show him run the bases lmao
Talk about elite speed
Didnt need to sit thru the full count for that.
I feel like De La Cruz had a shot to throw him out, especially with his arm but chose not to
Elly could’ve gunned em if he wanted to😂
I think he’s just getting jitters since he hes playing in the big leaguers. Just wait til he gets hot, he’s going to be smashing homers like he was doing in the minors and spring training
How do they always say what’s about to happen before it happens
Why not show him running the bases? Seems like he was hustling.
The commenter “how would you like to see a home run here
Commentator
Wait Wyatt Langford started playing mlb games before Skenes? Smh
A lot of players would have got a double because they would not have hustled out of the box.
Tip: It's a highlight, dont need the whole at bat. Kind of the point 😂
Clip too long for your attention span?
🎯🎯🎯
Will it count as a HR o just a triple?
It will count as a homer
Just like dansby swanson
Gyatt Langford
Why did I have to watch the whole at-bat.
Would of been crazy if he got threw out by Cruz because he had the last inside the Parker
Love an insider-the-park home run, but the camera work on this clip was awful. "At MLB we've got all the coverage and angles YOU want. Here's an extreme close up of Langford running, here's the lead runner scoring, here's the ballboy running for some reason, now let's see the wrong player in the dugout."
he is on my fantasy baseball team 😂
shoould of been stand up too
Pitch at 2:29 jesus MLB, edit will ya
Nah, that was a great at-bat. He worked the count and stayed alive before blasting it
is an inside the park hr an earned run?
Yes. There was no error on the play since the ball hit the wall and caromed away from the fielders. Clean hit, four bases, earned run.
And the Tigers drafted Max Clark instead of this guy...
The Ozarks. 😂
Where is this from lol
@@jordannijjar5414 It’s a show, but I just checked the guys name was Wyatt Langmore. Thought they had identical names, but nah. Pretty close though.
@@jyp523 yea, since it's not the first time I've heard it, you're not the only one. Now I finally get it. Thanks lol.
Horrible camera and broadcast work. Hardly saw anything.
Let’s go gators!
🐊🐊🐊
2:25 there I saved you some time, they go through the whole at bat
its funny how his face makes him look like a 20 yr old baby, but his arms make him look like a 40 yr old white dude
We do not need to include the first 2:20 of this video.
No, we do.
It provides context and builds drama.
@@thepixalking6589 No it doesn't, it just confirms the belief that the MLB is slow and boring. 3-2 is all the context required.
MLB had 15M viewers for the WS. The Kentucky Derby had more viewers. The Superbowl had 115M viewers. This sport is dying and the fact that it take 5+ minutes per AB is a BIG reason why.
@@Soapford If you think MLB is boring, then don't watch it or these videos. Go away
@@Soapfordsome people have the ability to pay attention for more than 1 minute. If you can’t just skip forward.
@@alexw0310 Y'all cant afford for me to stop watching, 15 million for the biggest ball game of the year is a joke.
Just post the highlight… nobody is trying to watch 2:30 of an at bat for no reason.
I’m wondering if elly let him get that off.. we’re talking about a guy that can get that ball there at 100 MPH.. it would’ve been close but I just feel like he was letting dude have his shine too.. lol
Langford was more than halfway past third when Elly got the ball. No chance.
Elly got overthrown. Langford slid into the plate before the ball would've even left Elly's hand
You’re out of your mind.
He's as pathetic as Fernandes when he takes a penalty... (for Man U).
Are these guys supposed to be world class athletes? Why tf is the outfielder jogging to get the ball, bro is not trying and if he is then he shouldn’t be in the mlb cause that’s the slowest run I’ve ever seen
He looks like a child wearing fake grown man arms as a costume.
Double with base error
Not an error if the fielder never touches it. Now, the relay home? Might've been an error by not doing it, but since there is no video of the runner at that moment, they could've decided there was no way to get him out.
