Many thanks for showing us the content of your shed.
The HQ Monaro GTS 308 is an early build. If memory serves me correctly, the HQ series debuted in July '71.
Great to see the mighty 308 engine bay prior to the later build one's, with plenty of ADR plumbing not only sapping power, filling the 'bay with various hose plumbing.
    Those were the days!
    Thanks again 😁👍

Some amazing cars. The original HQ coupe at the start is an incredible example. XC Cobra no 202 is the second of the 100 4.9L manuals without power steering (201 to 300).

Finally…Finally, the V8 in that XC is referred to by its proper displacement. Some math wiz at Ford in Detroit back in the day I reckon thought that 4942cc could be properly rounded up to 5000cc or 5.0L😂

Slight frame rate issue with the footage, can notice it at around 1:50.

The cobra was all stripes no substance parts bin boat that couldn’t even crack 200 Kph as a road car even with the so called mighty 351. As a race car it was thrashed by A9X toranas at sandown then DECIMATED at Bathurst by 6 laps in 79. The first ford to finish was in 25th position.
